Periodically logged out of iTunes and App store

Hello,
I am frequently logged out of iTunes (on my PC)P and the App store (on my iPhone 4).
Whenever I'm about to make a purchase/download, I have to log in again.
I searched in Preferences for iTunes, and couldn't find where to stay logged in. On the iPhone, I have no idea where to begin looking.
Basically my question is: How do you change your settings to stay logged in permanently for both iTunes (PC) and the App Store (iPhone 4)?

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    First, try the new password.  If you didn't sign out of iCloud prior to changing the primary email address of your Apple ID, this is what can cause this problem.

    2. Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On
    3. Check you Time Zone

    Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

    As far as I know the language of the two stores on the iPad (iTunes and the App Store) can't be changed - they should be in the language of the country where your account is based (if they aren't correct then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in).

  • ITunes and App Store apple ID disabled?

    So my Apple ID for both iTunes and App store has been disabled for the past 1-2 weeks now and I have tried multiple credit cards(my dads) and none have enabled it, yet all the credit cards have worked for buying various other things. It wont let me update apps, redeem itunes gift cards, buy songs or download free apps. I went into my local Apple Store and they said they didnt "have the right equipment to fix this issue" and to contact apple support. But nothing has worked?? Any ideas how to fix this?     When fist setting up your new iphone you will be asked to log in with an apple id and password. If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. This apple id login must have already been created for the iphone to accept it. If this apple id is already created but is not being accepted by your iphone you then should shut down your iphone and restart the device.

    After updating to iOS 8.0.2, I have tried updating apps and buying music but nothing happens on my iPhone 5 or my iPad.  Can someone help with this?  All it shows it the rotating circle saying it's looking or working or whatever but even after logging in with the Apple id nothing works.  I can connect my phone to the computer and things update but still shows on phone/iPad after that I still need to update apps.

    I am sorry to hear that you cannot connect to or download from the iTunes and App Stores. There are some very good troubleshooting steps that I would recommend in this situation. Please follow the steps and information in the article below. 
    Can't connect to the iTunes Store
    Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time. 
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
