Permanantly disable sync, Design Notes, some columns?
I *never* use DW's sync feature, Design Notes, or site
columns except
for filename, type and date modified. I add several sites
every day or
at least every other day.
Is there a way to not have to keep disabling this stuff in
DW8?

I too got the same question, "do you want to transfer otherwise it will get deleted". And, I too said Yes (like you did) and also checked "don't ask me again" flag. So, it didn't bother me afterwards. Now I have set music and photos to synch, and working without any issues (so far).
After restoring, I deauthorized the computer because I have no intention of buying apps in the PC again. I am not sure whether that has any effect on this repeatedly asking queston (to transfer apps back to PC).
By the way, all these comments I am making are based on iTunes on Mac (which I mentioned earier). Not sure Windows verson acts differently.
However, there is one more tricky issue, which I later figured out. If any app is deleted during this process of disabling the sync option, and happened to be manually downlaoded again, any in-app purchases will be gone. (No issue with apps came through iCloud restore).
Apprently there are few types of in-app purchases and most of them (feature enabling ones) are redownloadable. However, it is messy becasue you have to know which in-app purchase you did before, and until you hit 'purchase' button and enter password again, system won't tell you whether it is already purchased or not. (You could accidently purchase a new one)
My case, one app got deleted like that, and I had to redownload the in-app purchase.
I definitely agree, probably a good idea to wait for Apple to solve it, but after hearing that "it is not considered a problem but that is how system is intended to work" from technical support person, I decided to solve it my way.

I'm looking for an answer to disabling cloud-based sync services in regards to an enterprise reqeust. This prevents saved passwords or other sensitive data being uploaded to the cloud, and also prevent the user syncing that data with an untrusted device. I can't find an option to disable Sync (specifically the "Sign in to Sync" menu option) apart from setting some of the configured sign-in URI's to null. Is there a way of just disabling the function?
hey curtis, you can use the method described at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences to lock certain preferences in about:config for all users/profiles in an enterprise environment.
you'll probably have to lock services.sync.engine.addons, services.sync.engine.bookmarks, services.sync.engine.history, services.sync.engine.passwords, services.sync.engine.prefs, services.sync.engine.tabs (or a subset of them according to your requirements) to false. -

In the above report first column and the last columns are fixed and the other columns are dynamic depending upon the input selection:
if input selection is Normal and RDO then only 2 columns w'd be created and the other 2 fixed columns.
Can anybody help me how do I design such report....

According to your description that you want to dynamically increase and decrease the numbers of the columns in the table, right?
As Jason A Long mentioned that we can use the matrix to do this and put the year field in the column group, amount fields(Numric values) in the details, add an filter to filter the data base on this column group, but if
the data in the DB not suitable to add to the matrix directly, you can use the unpivot function to turn the column name of year to a single row and then you can add it in the column group.
If there are too many columns in the column group, it will fit the page size automatically and display the extra columns in the next page.

In this form you will get the function code in 'r_ucomm' and the field selected for sorting in 'rs_selfield-SEL_TAB_FIELD'. But reseting 'r_ucomm' will not work.

How should I disable some columns in a JTable so that they cannot be edited at all? The methods provided do this but double clicking the column enables it.

if ur using a customTableModel for ur entries ..
u can implement the following method of
Table Model Interface.
public boolean isCellEditable(int rowIndex,
int columnIndex)then implement in such a way that ..
compare always with ur column number and return false.
as follows.public boolean isCellEditable(int rowIndex,
int columnIndex){
if (columnIndex ==4 )
return false;
else
return true;
}above code makes all cells in the col=4 uneditable.
even u rearrange the cols in table it works as per documentation.
test this .. and let me know whether u succeeded r not.
note: i think The implementation of this method in AbstractTableModel or defaultTableModel
returns true always.

Hi, My Lightroom CC is showing waiting for connection and the mobile sync is not working. I have tried deleteing lrsync data, disabling firewall, checked host file etc. Still no luck.
I had the same problem. It fixed itself when I opened Internet Explorer (I don't normally use it). I was opening Support Portal to get some support help, but I'm not sure if it was the page or simply opening IE that did the trick.

My ipod was working fine, I downloaded a couple of songs and my sync would not work properly, the computer said it was in sync but some of the songs didn't download. I trying just picking the ones that did not load and now I have no content in my ipod. I restores it to manufacrtureres settings and backed up from file but my ipod says no content? Any ideas please........

My eldest son gave my youngest son his ipod. He locked it with a passcode, couldn't remember and now it is disabled. Will not work trying to get it in recovery/restore mode. Original synced computer not around anymore, either is eldest. Not worried about losing data as my young son can have it now. What else can I try?? I follow the steps and it still says ipod is disabled on ipod screen. iTunes keeps saying it needs passcode.....
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Create three attribute in the node which is bound to the table as data source.
say pro1, pro2, and pro3 of type wdy_boolean.
now bind the enabled property of first four column editors to pro1, last 4 to pro2, and pro3 to first 2 and last 2.
then go to the eventhandler of the dropdown 's on select event and write the code to update the values of these attribute
according to the selected value.

Verison 7 not correctly displaying some columns/windows
NING is one of the larger providers of social networking sites around...since upgrading to version 7 some columns and windows do not display correctly (some text is not shown). Design Notes not showing up in Remote Server column
I cant seem to see the Design Note icon appear in the appropriate column of the remote server for collaborative use.
I think I have set the feature up correctly, and I have uploaded the document in question to the server, but no sign of the notes icon in the remote view pane.
What a paneI sorted this by turning off and on the Option to Show the Notes column in the FileView Columns window in the Advanced Settings.
Then refreshed the remote Site view and the Note icon appeared.
I think I already had the Enable Column Sharing option ticked there but maybe that also did it . . .
