Permanently disabling Modification Assistant

Hi everybody.
Is there a way I can permanently disable the Modification Assistant for every custom development object I ever modify ?
The Modification Assistant is extremely annoying and the project has other means of dealing with change management.
The main issue Im facing is that everytime I use Find & Replace in a program, the Modification Assistant is switched on automatically for every include that is modified using Find & Replace. This also means that the next time I want to use Find & Replace, the includes with Modification Assistant switched on can not be modified until I switch it off, as they are locked.
Is there a way I can completely disable this annoying tool for custom development ? Or at least make sure it never gets switched on once I switch it off for an include.
Thanks for any hints,
Stano

I should have researched the problem a bit more.
It turned out the includes were a copy of SAP standard and had the source system in TADIR still 'SAP', so a quick mass change of source system was all that was necessary.

  • Permanently Disable Home Button? Help stop the mayhem!

    My home button thinks it's being pushed constantly (closing apps, turning on voice control, bringing up the task bar and search screen, taking screen shots when I press the lock button, etc) but then it works less than half the time I am actually trying to use it. I can't even listen to music because voice control turns itself on. It constanty lights up when in lock position and voice control keeps coming on. It randomly started a few days ago for no reason at all. I want to permanently disable the home button and use assistive touch only (this seems like the most practical way to stop the issue). Please help!!

    In that case, you may want to call the AppleCare number and deal with it that way.  If they can diagnose it over the phone and determine it is a hardware issue, they can arrange shipment of a replacement and the return of your current phone (you will have to give them a credit card which they will release the hold on as soon as the old one is received, since it is technically a warranty exchange).
    Worst case would be they require you to send it in for evaluation, in which case you would have some period without a phone at all.

  • How to permanently disable this message: "Press Esc to exit full screen." (by Adobe Flash Player) in Mac's Safari Browser?

    Hello everyone,
    I have been searching for sometime (without any success) for a solution to permanently remove this annoying message: "Press Esc to exit full screen."
    Whenever I go to full screen mode, watching any video on YouTube, BBC, CNN (or many other websites which use Adobe Flash Player for streaming video) I have to bare seeing this message for several seconds until it fades away. Seeing this message once or twice would have been okay, but as we all watch many videos on a daily basis on internet, after weeks, months and now years seeing this message over and over again many times every day, it becomes very annoying, and I find myself rewinding many videos to their beginning after this message fades away to be able to watch it from the beginning without anything obstructing it!
    Does anyone know how to "permanently" disable this message from appearing?
    I am using the latest version of Safari 6.0 on the latest version of OS X (Mountain Lion 10.8.1), and have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (Plug-in version 11.4.402.265) installed on my new MacBook Pro 15" with Retina Display.
    Thanks,
    Ally

    Thanks Carolyn,
    I am attaching a screenshot here for you to see that this setting was already set to what you suggested. I didn't need to change it as it was like this even before I post this message.
    So the problem still presists and unfortunately your suggestion is not a solution to this probelm.
    Last night I did more reseach and found a discussion in Adobe website, it seems a lot of other people have the same issue, and even started a discussion in Adobe website about it. But unfortunately Adobe refuses to address it and enable the end user at least to have an option to turn this message off from displaying permanently on his/her computer.
    I am writing down the url links for the two posts regarding this issue on Adobe's website:
    Link #1: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/921270
    Link #2: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3058752
    Hopefully more people will get involved and ultimately we will either get Adobe's attention, or someone will find a "hack" and post it here for all of us. I have found some suggested "hacks" for Windows environment (you can simply google it, I am sure you will find them too). But so far I haven't seen anything for Mac's Safari browser.
    Cheers,

  • How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?

    Hi.  My subject says it all.  How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?
    At first I thought I had a virus or something because when I typed only weird symbols came out.  Then I reset the computer.  Then I couldn't even log in.  I tried Time Machine etc.
    Then I realized that the "fn" key wasn't working right.  It seems to be working backwards.  It acts like it's being pushed when it's not, and when I do push it it acts like it's not being used.
    So it's kind of a simple problem but it's really annoying.
    Is there a way I can just disable it permanently?  Even physical force if necessary.  I tried to break it but it wouldn't break.  I don't really use the key anyway so it doesn't really matter.  I don't want to pay a bunch of money to replace a key I don't even use.
    Thanks.  I hope someone knows.

    That's the best answer.  Yeah usually if you press "fn" or "option" you can get it to work for awhile.
    Yeah I have considered some kind of external keyboard also.  It will make a laptop less laptopish.  But it could do the job for awhile.
    It's sad because I don't even care about the "fn" or "option" keys.
    But anyway it's not catastrophic at least.
    And yeah maybe we can get a new computer later or something.  I like mine though.  It's customized and is how I like it right now.
    Anyway thanks for the reply.

    I have the same problem with mine... but im trying to find a way to fix it without restoring it...
    but one fix is to shut it down completely ... then press and hold BOTH the power button and the home button .. hold both of those 4 ten seconds .. then release the power button but still hold down the home button .. and then it'll show something that says "connect to itunes" once u get it connected to itunes , click the restore button ... BEWARE THIS WILL WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON YOUR IPOD!!! IT WILL RESTORE IT BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS , AS IF U JUST BOUGHT IT !!!!! then it should work fine again .. but u will lose all data on there besides the things you have synced with itunes already..
    Thats y im iffy with doing this , im trying to find a fix where i wont have 2 restore it but i dont think there is 1 :'(
    good luck tho

  • How can I permanently disable the pixel grid for all images forever?

    I keep turning this off with View -> Show -> Pixel grid and it keeps coming back every time I zoom in on a new image.
    Is there a registry setting I can change to permanently disable this feature? Or any other way?

    Perhaps a Prefs Reset will fix this. Hold down ctrl-alt-shift and start Photoshop.

  • How to permanently disable comment popup hint in Adobe Reader X?

    I wish to permanently disable the popup that says  "Click on Comment and Share to create, mark-up and send PDF files.":
    It is getting annoying having to always click it to remove it when viewing a new PDF file in Fullscreen mode.
    How can I acheive this?
    Is there a setting in the preferences or a key in the registry that I can modify?

    You're right. I've tested on a couple of computers now and the problem seems to be isolated to one computer with a particular software setup. On the others it works as you describe.
    You would'nt by any chance know where this "don't show the bubble"-setting is stored after clicking the cross for the first time? Is it in the registry?

    Received a helpful tips: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral\bShowTaskButtonInfoBubble

  • How do you permanently disable Tool Pane from showing up every time you open a pdf document in Adobe Reader DC 2015?

    Just like 9.9/10 people out here in the real world, I use Adobe Reader to read pdf files and never (ever) use the Tool Pane for anything.
    How do I permanently disable it from showing up, instead of having to close it *each & every time* I open a pdf document? The majority of people don't want thins thing covering up the page they are trying to read.

    Okay, seems I've stumbled upon an ugly workaround but it works for me. I'm using Windows 8.1. Go to the install directory, i.e." C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroApp\ENU". Create a new subfolder (I used "Disabled"). Move 3 files from the "ENU" folder into the new "Disabled" folder: AppCenter_R.aapp & Home.aapp & Viewer.aapp. Open a PDF and no more Tool Pane! I originally moved just the "Viewer" file but if you clicked on "Home" or "Tools" on the toolbar you couldn't go back to the "Document." Moving all 3 files takes care of that issue. Like a lot of people I don't and won't ever use any of the tools. I just want a reader. Let me know if this works for you.

  • How to permanently disable the Shared Photo Stream on a windows pc

    I've got the Icloud control panel installed on a windows7 pc. On this specific pc I only want My Photostream running. I've tried to disable the Shared Photo Stream - but when I log off my windows user account an then log in again, the checkmark next to the Shared photo Stream is back, and iCloud starts again downloading the shared stream. How can I stop this behavior? I want to permanently disable the Shared Photo Stream.

    Try this method of duplication:
    <font "size=+1">Duplicate a CD or DVD
    1. Insert the DVD/CD;
    2. Open Disk Utility, and select the DVD/CD from the left side list (select the DVD/CD icon on top);
    3. from the DU File menu select New | Disk Image from Disk 1;
    4. Choose to format the disk image as DVD/CD Master, name the disk image and click Save;
    5. When the .cdr file is finished select it with mouse and press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info and check the box to lock the file;
    6. Choose the .cdr file from the left side list, click Burn, and insert a new, blank DVD or CD.

  • My ipad 2 has permanent disabled due to passcode what can I do

    My ipad 2 has permanent disabled due to passcode what can I do

    If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
    If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
    You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode

  • Is it possible to permanently disable HDMI output from Logic?

    Every time my monitors wake from sleep, Logic asks if I want to switch my audio output to HDMI... pretty irritating as I have agressive energy saving settings, which I'd like to keep, as I try to keep my studio as energy efficient as possible, and 2 big LCD's suck a lot of current. The box that pops up also causes playback to stutter, so if I wake the monitor during playback there is that issue as well (also very irritating).
    In windows there is an option to permanently disable hdmi audio, is there something similar in OSX or in Logic itself?
    Thanks for the help!

    Do you have timing problems with HDMI? I stopped using HDMI because the audio and video didn't seem to sync properly. The difference wasn't huge but big enough to cause it to be hard to recognize points in the piano roll and audio edit windows at some zoom ratios.

  • Why did Apple design the iPad to permanently disable without ANY means to recover data just by virtue of someone trying to enter the wrong password? What is the logic behind this design decision?

    Daughter unknowingly attempts to access iPad by entering wrong passwords. This leads to the iPad being disabled. It contains home videos that have not been backed up. This is a common scenario that Apple has made no effort to solve. Why does this continue to be a problem? It is outrageous that a device should permanently disable like this for NO GOOD REASON. Apple - Please address this issue in iOS 8.2. This should not happen. It makes no logical sense for the iPad to do this. No sense whatsoever.

    See where it says Backup ? Turn it on, that's all it takes.
