try the following:
Quit iPhoto if it is running.
In your user directory there is folder named "Library". Inside the Library Folder there is a folder called "Preferences". Inside this preference folder there is a file named "com.apple.iPhoto.plist" .
Do the following, click on the name of this file and change it to "com.apple.iPoto.plist" or anything else different than iPhoto.
Now launch iPhoto and adjust your settings.
See if they "stick", if so, you can trash the file whose name you changed. If not try running permissions and repeating the process.
Check back if it does not work.

Error while trying to install the addon

Did anyone got this error before......
I just upgrade SAP B1 2004A SP00 PL13 to SAPB1 2005A SP01 PL41. Everything going ok, except addon cannot be install. It's prompt an error "An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format . (Exception from HRESULT : 0x8007000B)"
Already installed DI API for PL41, but still cannot. When i tested the addon on other machine that run SAP 2005A SP01 PL41 and it working well.

Yes, it's my own addon and written using VB.net.
I installed the .net framework 1.1 and 2.0 already, but still cannot.
For your info, the addon successful installed on client machine.
Only server cannot install.

i'm using SAP B! on my Notebook. Here i'm logged in as admin as well in B1. If I try to install an Addon in B1, the following error - message appears: "The access on the path: c:\Addons\program files\SAP\SAP Business One\Addons\Cor\corsuite\AxInterop.ShockwaveFlashObjects.dll" was denied.
Is there someone, who can help me to solve the problem. Second is, that i've got no opportunity to activate my personal cockpit.
My Version is 8.81.312 PL:04 and the location is germany.

which OS are you using?
If you have Vista or Windows 7 you have to run SAP as Administrator even if the user is member of Administrator group.
Try right button --> Run as Administrator in SAP access.

I donu2019t think so it is windows 7 or 64/32 bit hardware/software issue. I have faced u201Cmsiexec failed with return code 1603u201D error many times during SAP installation and solved this issue with below mentioned procedure.
Solution:
Just change the location of temp directory to empty folder in user environment variable without cancel installation in current user session. After that, click on yes button to continue the installation. If installation will ended after click on yes button, restart the installation with continue old installation option.

Hello Everyone,
We are getting an error while trying to create an Universe via Microsoft -> MS Analysis Services 2014 -> OLEDB for OLAP Provider under Connection in UDT -"DBD: Error while trying to load the transport provider for odbc. Failed to load the library. System error: The specified module could not be found." We have installed BI 4.1 SP05 in our system. As per earlier posts in scn in BO XI 3.x this issue used to be for improper installation of Integration KIT but in our scenarion Integration KIT is within the BO 4.1 package so no seperate installation is required. Moreover I have checked whether all the driver is present under file: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers" and seems everything is fine. But still I am getting this error. One important point is we could use IDT because in IDT still we don't have option to connect with 'Microsoft Analysis Services - 2014 (XMLA)' as we are using Microsoft Analysis Services 2014 version.
Kindly help if anyone has faced the same problem with SAP BO 4.1.

The problem is solved now after installing "OLEDB drivers from SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack". We had OLEDB drivers that comes directly from SQL Server but that did not worked out in our case.

I tried to uninstall Itunes and then reinstall the 11.03 version but that didnt work either. I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). I tried using dcmctl but still got the following error.
Oracle 8i database is running but noone is using it except that this application uses it.

I am trying to convert a pdf file to an excel file. I get a completely unhelpful message that says "error while trying to access the service" .
What does this mean and how do i fix it?

Thank you for posting on the Adobe forums. If you are already subscribed to the service, kindly try the steps mentioned below.
1) Open Adobe Reader Edit>preferences
2) Go to Adobe Online services>change the email address to the one you have subscribed the service with
3) Go to identity> change the email address there as well
4) Click OK
5) Restart the Adobe Reader and try to access the service again.
If you have not subscribed to the service please do that as, we do not offer trial for Create PDF.
