  • Print out of Permit

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following scenario:
1 I have created a Maintenance Order , assigned a permit, while assigning the permit I have checked the box Print for the Permit and saved the order in T Code Iw32
    2. Issued the permit in T Code IPM2.
    3. Confirmation completion of the Order done in T code IW41.
I want to take print out of the Permit.
I went for the order printout option in the Order, there I could found Confirmation printout, material issue slip printout, Order text. But not the Permit print Out.
How can I take a print out of the Permit.
Please help me out in this regard.
    Thanks and Regards,
    B. Praveen

    hi praveen
permits are included in the operation contorl ticket itself, there is no sperate one for printing the permits
    Operation control ticket
The operation control ticket provides the employee responsible in Plant Maintenance with a complete overview of the order. It also contains details of permits

  • Crystal report print button greyed out in user citrix sessions

    Hi,
We are running Citrix Enterprise Server 4.5 on Windows 2003 servers.
We have a ERP app called Epicor 7.3.6 installed on them.
Crystal Reports 9 is installed on all these servers and the epicor app displays and prints crystal reports.
Some users when logged into their Citrix profile session and running Crystal Reports from within Epicor application can not print the Crystal report because the Print button is greyed out.
We have compared users that can print against users who can not not print and not found anything at the network, file permissions, application permissions, printer setup setting level.
Also, if we were to take citirx completely out of the discussion, what might cause the print button to be greyed out in a crystal report when it is displayed (not the developer, but in the minmal window that shows the export, print, magnify options only).
    Thanks
    Chris

Check with Epicor. We don't know how Epicor implemented the solution so it's kinda like you asking a mechnic to fix your car, but he can't open the hood to see the engine.
A tip; this is more than likely due to permissions. So, compare between boxes thast work and don't work. Use [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] to track permission issues.

  • I can using AirPrint from safari and email to my hp printer but do not get print as an option from the pulldown menu from the new york times and other apps. How can I print directly from these apps?

I can't seem to print directly from apps like the new York times. Print is not an option from the pulldown menu. Print to my hp printer works  fine from safari and email though and from some other apps. Do some apps not permit printing? That doesn't right.

Thats funny. If go to ny times on safari therebis a print icon and no problem printing. On the app -- and I am a paid subscriber -- no print option ...
You can ask the NY Times why not.
Standard behavior is that Airprint always works with iBooks, Mail, Photos, and Safari.  Apps are up to their author.

  • Security issues with applets and windows Vista when printing to file

    Hi, everyone
I am currently developing an application that prints out the result of some calculations.
from a Javascript file, the output finally ends up in a java applet that should print the file in a special printer.
For debugging purposes I have created a File printer that creates a file from the output comming to the printer; this way I can debug what commands the printer is receiving.
This worked well on Windows Xp; Vista always asks for permissions for the applet, and altough I guarantee these permissions, printer is not allowed to create the output file and reports an error writing
after a little research, I have found that java applets have all permissions when certificated as trusted applications; all but file creating permissions
anyone has any idea of how could I fix this problem?
    Thanks in advance

    HI,
Have you actually signed your applet? If the signers certificate is the trusted key store for Java it should treat your applet as trusted. You can use a self signed certificate for testing as long as the cert is in the trusted key store.
    Some links that might help:

  • Production Order Printing CO04N

    Hi,
We have a issue while printing production order with T Code CO04N. The print output shows all operations other than those which are subcontrated. I have tried changing the print option in contol key but it doesnt work.
can anyone please suggest any probable cause of the same.
    Thanks
    Rohit

    Hi
check below SAP help: What is the status of the operation for subcontracting?
    Lists of Operations
Note the following when you print lists of operations:
Is Customizing set up in such a way that the control key for the operations is checked when printing lists?
If this is the case, you must check whether the control key:
    permits the printing of operations
permits the printing of time tickets
permits the printing of confirmation slips
If the control key check is not activated in Customizing, the system does not check the control key or the status. In this case, the system also does not set a print status.
Does the status of the order and the status of the operation permit the list to be printed?
If the order status does not permit printing, the system does not print a list.
If the order status permits printing, the system prints a list. Operations whose status does not permit printing are not included in this list.
The printing of lists is permitted if
the order is either released or partially released
the order is neither technically complete nor deleted
The printing of individual operations in an order is permitted if
the order is partially released or released
the operation is released and not deleted
Do you want to print time tickets or confirmation slips?
In this case, you should ensure that the specified number of time tickets or confirmation slips for the operation is greater than zero.
The number of time tickets or confirmation slips is proposed from the work center. However, you can change this on the General operation detail screen. To reach this screen choose  in the production order. Select the relevant operation and choose .

  • Acrobat Pro 8, PDF security: Is it possible to allow printing, but forbid editing?

Hello everybody! I have a question concerning the PDF security settings. We are using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 (CS3) on an Mac OS X 10.4.11 system.
When creating a PDF, is it possible to...
...permit printing AND enable reading aids BUT forbid editing (like copying text)?
Or can I only either permit all OR forbid all?
Thank you for your kind help!
    Mats

Okay, I solved it myself. :-)
I had set the "PDF compatability" to "1.4". This removes the a.m. option. So now, I have set it to "1.5" (or even another later standard), and can now allow printing AND allow reading aids BUT forbid copying text.
    Thank you!

  • Printing problem in CS3

This one has me stumped. I'm printing using print w/preview to an epson 3800Pro printer, normally no problem. Over the last few months on and off, after I hit the print button I get a window in PS that says "could not print xxx(doc.).psd because the disk is not available."
It's random, I've tried rebooting, repairing permissions, printing from another hard disk, (internal and external). But nothing works. On occasion, I've kept working on the retouching and not trying to print. Then after several hours I'll try to print and it prints no problem and will continue ok for days. Then several days later, same problem, and it may stay "that way" for several days. I had the problem last week, installed the latest updates and it was fine until today. Now the same problem.
I don't know why I get the window saying "could not print xxx(doc.).psd because the disk is not available." or what it means. I can open any document in PS from that or any hard disk. It won't print the open document I'm working on, or any other image document that I open.
Anyone with any idea where to go with this?
    Thanks
    Jeff N

    >"could not print xxx(doc.).psd because the disk is not available."
could it be some sort of permissions thing? just stabbing in the dark.

  • P/O's were printed without being completey released

    Hi
I am using ME23N and entered a PO where release indicator(EKKO-FRGKE) is not equal to '1' (Not completely released).
When I go to change mode (ME22N) and select icon message and select the output -> go to further data->select the output as print immediately (when saving the application) and save it , i am able to print the PO.
This is wrong when the system permit print the order when the PO is not approved.
Is there any solution for this? Any user exit existing for this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards

Please check with your workflow guys if the complete flow logic of a PO is working proper.
This issue is i guess some way related to workflow.

  • My new ipad3 will not communicate and run my HP office jet 8500g printer wirelessly.  My daughter's Mac will wirelessly so my iPad 3 should right?

OK, bought my 1st Apple anything last week.....(iPad 3)!!  Tried to send a "OnSong" doc to my wireless HP Office Jet Pro 8500g today and iPad 3 can,t find the printer.  My daughter used her Mac wireless and sent a "Pages" doc wirelessly with no problem.  Apple support confirms that they are compatible but want to charge me $99 for a 1 year subscription right out of the gate.  I don't know if the issue is iPad 3 or HP printer?  Seems like my iPad is the issue since Mac has no problem?  Any ideas on what the problem is?

The simple answer is your printer is not Airprint Enabled, thus you can not print to it natively on your iPad.  There are options.
    1.  Purchase a new Airprint enable printer
    2.  Purchase an App from the App Store for about $9 that will permit printing.  Print Central and Printopia are two you could consider.

  • Is it possible to print wirelessly (WITHOUT A WI FI INTERNET CONNECTION) .Using my ipad 3 to an HP air printer.

Is it possible to print wirelessly (WITHOUT A WI FI INTERNET CONNECTION) using my ipad3 and a HP air printer ?.

    Christina,
The purpose of the AirPrint system was to permit printing directly from iDevices to printers that are AirPrint enabled without going through an intermediary device.  The catch is the printer must be an AirPrint enabled printer.  The iPad's apps will then recognize the printer and print seamlessly.  Follow the link Demo gave you to see the specifics from HP since that is the printer you asked about using.

  • Unable to add canon irc printer

    Hi There,
I am looking for some advice. I have a client who has recently purchased an imac running Leopard v10.6. I have added this machine to their domain and set everything up. No problems - considering it is in Malta and I am in Scotland. They have one printer, a canon irc 2380 which they require to be able to print from. I have added this printer using both lpd and ipp, both times the printer is added successfully. When I try to print something using ipp method, the print appears to go but nothing actually comes out the printer. When I try using the lpd method, it asks for authentication? I am currently working on trying to get to its config page to try and enable bonjour but would like some assistance as to why these other methods haven't worked. What am I doing wrong? I doubt that the wrong driver has been installed as I got it from canon directly.
    Thanks in advance - Kirsty

Hello Kirsty. If it is the UFR2 driver you have installed, then first of all you do need to use LPD for the protocol. IPP is not supported with this driver.
So with the LPD connection and the authentication, this could be two things.
If you are printing via a Windows shared queue then it can be a Windows authentication pop-up. Entering this users domain account and password is usually enough to allow printing, however if it is the UFR2 driver being used it does not play well with this type of connection. You would be best to configure the Mac to print directly to the iR C2380.
If you do have the Mac configured to print directly to the copier then the other authentication you can get is the built-in Department ID function, where an ID and password needs to be entered to permit printing. Many owners of the colour iR use this system to control colour usage. You can check if the copier has this enabled by entering its IP address into a browser. This will open the internal web page called Remote UI (RUI). If Dept ID management is enabled then you often need to enter an ID and password to get past the login window that you would be presented with. If entering the IP into the browser opens the RUI without entering a password then Dept ID is not enabled, but you can check by selecting the Add Functions button on the left sidebar of the RUI and then opening System Preferences.
If Dept ID is enabled then the ID and password can be entered via the Special Features menu of the driver. This also provides the function to check that the ID/pwd to be used is set in the copier.
Re Bonjour, the Canon imageRUNNER series do not support Bonjour. They do if they have the optional Fiery print controller attached, rather than using the internal Canon board. I think this model would use the imagePASS-J1 so the connection to the internal web page of the copier would show if this is fitted.
    Hope this helps for starters...

  • Permissons Problem with Windows 2012r2 RDS Server

    Hello,
I have an 2012R2 RDS Server with about 60 Users and abount 20 printers in different locations. Each user should only see the printer of his location. Each printer is add as a standard IP-Printer.
As far so good, I gave permissions for each user group in each location for printing and removed "everybody". From this point on, the printjob disappeared from the spool directory and will never be printed. All other permissions are default an
    unchanged.
It makes no difference of printing as administrator or as normal user.
If i add "everybody" again back to the printer permissions, printing works as designed.
Thanks in advance for any suggenstions and help,
    Regards from Austra
    Reinhold

    Hi Reinhold,
Based on your description, I understand you encounter the printer issue after
    Everyone group removed.
In Security tab in print Properties, please click
Advanced button. In Advanced Security Settings panel, select Everyone group and click ”Edit…” button. Then just un-check
Print: Allow permission. Please check if this issue still exists.
Meanwhile, please also refer to following article and check if can help you.
    Assigning printer permissions
By the way, for a test, when remove the
Everyone group, please re-install a print and monitor the result.
If anything I misunderstand or any update, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
    Hope this helps.
    Best regards,
