Perplexed about resizing swf to window

Hi all,
I cannot change both the width 100% and height 100% of my SWF in the properties panel of DW and have the movie load on my website (it is missing). I can change the width to 100% and the height to any size (100 to 2000 px) and the movie will fit horizontally all the way across my screen but is either to short or to tall vertically, respectively.
I can change all kinds of parameters (adding or deleting) and get the same result. I see a lot of conversation about this in the forums but not a straight forward fix for the non-java types. I have changed alot of info for the tags inculding padding and margin to 0 and height and width to 100%.
I am using DW CS5. Any suggestions?

In some browsers it will work, to some degree, in others it will not without a little JavaScript and/or resizing the page,

Resizing an apps window interrupts mplayer

Hi all,
I use mplayer to play music from internet radio but when I resize another apps window, the music is interrupted. I have an AMD Athlon 64x2 2.4GHz machine and this seems rather unacceptable to me... ;-) I have always used a custom-compiled kernel on my Arch x86-64 installation but this problem seems to have started with using a custom 2.6.24.x kernel.
Any hints on what kernel config item(s) could produce this problem? Is it a matter of unfair multitasking resource allocation?

On the mini, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

Resize javascript debugger window in acrobat

I feel stupid. I am trying to learn adobe javascripting. I am following Adobe's web tutorial.(The tutorial screen shots have nice big windows.) However the console window only shows 40 characters to a line. On this debug window, there is no resize icon in the upper right hand corner of the window. I tried to right click and drag sides, corners, top, and bottom, but no luck. I get a double-ended arrow like it should resize, but the window The acrobat pro window is full-size, but the debug window is only 1/6th of that window.
I am using a laptop with Vista Home Premium with Adobe Acrobat 9 with its latest updates.
I took a look at the general support group, but just questions about using Adobe Acrobat. I went back two months on the scripting group with no luck.

you can grab the bottom right corner of the acrobat debug window to resize. You'll want to make sure to grab the little dotted triangle icon inside the window, not the actual corner of the window itself.

iPhoto stores EXIF information with each photo in your library. This information includes the photo's image size, the date and time it was taken, and the type of camera it was taken on, as well as important exposure information, such as the shutter speed, aperture, and film ISO.
To show image and camera information:
Select the photo and choose Photos > Get Info.
You can also see a photo's title, date taken, rating, format, and comments by clicking the Information button in the bottom-left corner of the iPhoto window.

Resizing apex.confirm window

I asked a question earlier about how to get page item's value in a popup confirm window, https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2560374.
Now that I got it working I want to know if it is possible to be able to resize the confirm window that pops up. Or is it possible to have multiple columns of text in the popup so it isn't so vertical?
I have so much text to confirm that it is extending past the bottom of my monitor.
Any ideas would be great, thanks!

Well unfortunately no. The confirm window is controlled by the browser and will also be different on different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari, etc...)
As I was addressing your confirm inquiry I was thinking that this may be better implemented with a modal window. So look something like this Martin Giffy D'Souza on Oracle APEX: ClariFit Dialog Plugin
Or use the jQuery Dialog (you don't need to install anything to use it), the help regions use it for example.
Maybe someone else has other better suggestions.

I have had similar issues with mine, happens mainly if I transfer songs and then decide to disconnect my iPod to listen to them with my IEMs (I use Interenet Explorer in my case and it is not neccessarely up when this happens, so I seriously doubt it is an issue conencted to the web browser). I have no patience for this so my trick is I try to eject it from iTunes, if that does not work, then I bring Windows explorer up, right mouse click on the iPod mounted drive and select Eject. It gives me the same warning but there is a third button selection called Continue. When I choose that it just disconnets the drive anyway and the iPod is finally disconnected. It seems to work each and every time I do it so this solution is fine for me. Would be intersting to see what the real root cause of this is because I started getting this problem with the newer iTunes 11.

On a windows os, usually one can just double click on the title bar in the open dialog.

Ummmm, could you ellaborate on how you plan to turn to Windows because iTunes (an application that runs on Windows) is running slow?

I noticed earlier that I can no longer resize my firefox window horizontally, the border seems to have disappeared. I've searched, using google and various other sites to find a solution to this and I'm coming up short. I've tried multiple things, safe mode, hitting F11, clearing the cache/cookies, even reinstalling. The issue still exists and I don't know what caused it. It is also affecting various flash applications, they no longer scale to the window size and parts are cut off. Any ideas?

I can resize it using the arrow keys after selecting size but it doesn't solve my issue - once resized I still cannot use my mouse to resize it like I've always been able to. I can resize it Vertically fine but Horizontally doesn't work regardless of what I've tried. I gave thought to the localstore being corrupted as well and even tried making a new profile, it didn't solve the issue. I have added a screenshot showing the window, I don't have it maxed, I used to have 2 borders - 1 on the left and 1 on the right that I could hover over and it would let me resize using the mouse. They no longer exist. I'm using the default theme even since that was suggested as a solution on another forum topic.
Also, small edit, I apologize for choosing the solution as the fix, it's 3 am and I'm half asleep so I clicked the button meaning to click reply.
Second edit: I noticed one of my explorer windows having the same issue and part of the border not being there at all so I unloaded Windowblinds and the problem is solved, looks like my profile on it got damaged. Thanks for the replies. Topic can be closed.

I can't resize the reply window in Mac Mail

My mail is working fine.
If I write a new email it all looks okay.
If I reply or forward an email the window is so wide it would stretch maybe 3 times the width of my screen, so if I want to use any of the tools in the top right toolbar I have to drag the window across.
I can resize up and down to make the window taller or shorter but I can't make it fit onto my screen widthways.
I have rebooted, hit zoom and now I'm stumped.
Any suggestions?

In Normal screen mode on Mac OS, resize the application window by dragging its lower right corner.
Click the green Zoom button (), located beside the Close and Minimize buttons at the left of the title bar. The application window expands to fill the screen. Click the Zoom button again to return to the previous window size.
Reposition the application window on your screen by dragging the title bar.

Cannot resize collapse/expand window when no project is open

Using Premier Pro CC 2014 on Windows, when I first launch Premier and no project is open, I cannot resize the Premier window, nor can I collapse or expand it. Is that just a bug?

I noticed several permissions changes after the last install of iTunes.
Launch Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility) and run the permissions repair routine on your hard drive. Then run verify disk. If any error is reported by the verify disk routine, restart your computer while holding down the Shift key. This will boot you into Safe Mode. The restart will take longer than normal, as diagnostic and repair routines are taking place. When the Finder shows up, restart normally. Then try your CD again.

How to resize the report window in version 5.0.3d?

Hi guys. I have upgraded the WAAS software from 4.3.1 to 5.0.3d. I was used to get some screenshots for some relevante information I consider and I was used to insert it into an excel file in order to send to the customer.
The problem is that I am not able to resize/expand the window anymore.
For example, if I choose the "Device Traffic Summary" or "Traffic Volume and Reduction" to show up in the Device Dashboard, in the previous version, I was able to click in the bottom right and drag the mouse to resize the window. In the version 5.0.3d, I do not see an option to do that. There are only fixed size columns and the only option is to move the report to a different position.
Is there any way to resize it?

How can I resize the itunes window in mavericks if the window is larger than the screen?
Since the window is larger than the screen I cannot use the scroll-bar anymore properly...
And since resizing is in the lower right corner that leaps out of the screen I can't resize it...
