Persario cq57 i startup repair mode, nothing happening,

Daughters computer shut down, when i started it back up, gives me the choice of launch startup repair or start windows normally, arrows on her keyboard are not working, can not switch it to start windows normal. is there a way to bypass this screen to get back on the computer normal. or how do i put it into safe mode so i can fix her keyboard. the startup repair goes thru the process then just sits and does nothing.

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that when starting up your daughters Notebook, its only going to the screen with "launch startup repair" or "start Windows normally". That when this occurs you cannot use the arrow keys to move up and down. I will try to help you with this.
Something you can try, is plugging in a keyboard to the Notebook (if you have one). This may allow you to bypass the built in keyboard. If you are already using an external, try unplugging it and using the built in. Also, just simply connecting and disconnecting one may "trick" the Notebook into correcting that issue on its own. (Note. you may need a USB keyboard for this).
Aside from that suggestion to provide you assistance with this could you please provide the following:
Model and Production number of the Notebook. (How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?)
Operating system currently installed.

Satellite L655 Stuck in Startup Repair mode

My laptop is stuck in Startup Repair mode. A blue bar has been crossing the screen for over 24-hours with a dialogue that says, "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete." If I try to cancel, I get a pop-up message that says, "The current repair operation cannot be cancelled." Shutting down using the buttom and restarting takes me back to the same screen. Shutting down, and using F-8 takes me to the same screen. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to escapte from this "loop"?

I have a 2011 iMac running MAC OS X Version 10.6.8. I get msgs. to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox. When I start the download, it goes into a buffering mode, nothing happens. Also happens when I go to the FF website to download manually.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

TS1717 When I click on ITUNES nothing happens

When i click on ITUNES nothing happens. Tried repairing, still nothing happens.

I was having the same problem, that when I click my shortcut or the icon on the tray by the start button, I get an hourglass but nothing ever happens. I read these posts, and I did this:
First, I repaired iTunes and QuickTime under my add/remove programs. I had clicked my iTunes icon previously, and ironically, I had problems repairing QT because it said iTunes was currently trying to use it, even though iTunes wasn't appearing on my desktop.
When I accessed QT, it worked perfectly, and when I clicked the link on the QT player to the "free single of the week" I was directly linked to my iTunes and it worked.
iTunes also worked when I accessed the program through my start menu.
The iTunes icon on the tray also worked when I clicked on it with the Task Manager open.
See if any of these things work for you, I am suspecting that perhaps there is just a problem with the icon and the shortcut. Does anyone know how to fix those?

For the sake of clarity and to save people time, Todd is asking about the behaviour of the Patch tool when using it to repair the area next to the young lad's head. Todd gets a blurred dark tone pretty much regardless of the options he uses.
IMO that's what I would expect to happen because of the close proximity of the other image elements i.e. the lad's neck and the strong lines of his shirt. I would not choose to use the Patch tool in this situation. Content Aware Fill makes a better stab at it.

Turn it off.
Start it up again and (at the sound of the chime) press and hold the command and the R keys, hold them down until Recovery loads. When it does you will select Disk Utility and you should be on the First Aid tab when it opens, if you are not please select it. Then select the partition (in the side bar, 2nd entry on the list, see picture).
Yours is probably called Macintosh HD.
Once you have selected it go to the lower righthand corner of the First Aid dialog and press Repair Disk.
This will take 10 minutes approximately. Post back when it is finished and tell me what it says.

I have the same problem on the latest iTunes software and Windows 7. My window is maximzed and I do not see any tab for photos. Seems related to a recent update (IOS7?) as this was there - at least before the very big change to the interface.

Can't validate second install of acrobat xi pro. enter login info and nothing happens. program suggests run in trial mode to continue. trial mode popup always popping up.

My hardware: TP x120e 0596-2ru. Windows 7, sp1, 64Bit, English, installed in UEFI mode.

I reinstalled (many times now) but on starting Firefox goes straight to the safe mode dialog box. It disappears and nothing happens, no matter what response

Error message: "Firefox closed unexpectedly while starting" "Firefox is now running in safe mode"
If I choose "Continue in safe mode" or anything else, the box disappears and nothing happens. If I try to uninstall at that point, I get a warning that Firefox can't be uninstalled when it is still running.
I periodically get errors such as "The instruction at 0x77caf42c referenced memory at 0x77f1bc98. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.
I have run PrevX, SpyBot and Malwarebytes and none find any viruses, though PrevX found and removed one previously when I first started having problems ("community.heuristics" or something like that.

Your j2ee server seems to be just fine and you need to open another window to work in it. Afterall there is the message
J2EE server startup complete.
nothing can be done on the server window till you stop the server. To stop the server, u need to open another window and issue the commandj2ee -stop saem case for all other command u need to send to the server..
after starting the server , if the link

works, then the j2ee server is just fine..

Have you tried holding the centr button and menu. This will force a shutdown.
