Persistent problems with updating, uninstalling and the functioning of the setup discs.

I am having problems with the Reader (9) and Acrobat Pro 9 aspects of my registered copy of CS4 Design Premium. When acting on the prompts from the updater, neither of these products will update, giving me a 1301? error (essentially telling me that i have modified the content of the folders?????) This is rubbish. I then decided to uninstall Acrobat 9 Pro and reinstall from the startup disc, well I was wrong, That refuses to work either, 1) The Acrobat uninstaller is stating that Acrobat is not the correct program for this uninstaller to uninstall, ??????? So I just deleted it and went to the startup disc. It gets to the 'preparing to install' stage and that is all, (waited for 3 hours for something to happen, I think that is quite enough).
Please explain to me what is going on and more importantly get me my Acrobat Pro back so I can update it. NOT HAPPY.
I have successfully downloaded and installed Reader X from the site, so we will see if that behaves itself when updating.

Uninstall everything Adobe (yes, including CS4), run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then reinstal lfrom scratch. Only run upates after both CS4 and Acrobat have been successfully reinstalled, then carefulyl re-apply all patches/ updates based on priority. Something busted/ locked your installer database which could include an update gone wrong. Can happen again, but updating from a fresh install is usualyl less prone to such issues and it might actualyl go through....

  • Problem with update Firmware and Fax with m276nw

    Hi
First of all sorry for my english...
    I have two problems
    1) I can't update the printer in wirelless mode, I mean the update program (version 2014-08-05 , Version 20140718, 12.05M) and the printer work but finally the printer is not updated.
    How can i do it?
    2) I'd prefer to forward fax in email or in alternative I'd want to read in a web interface. In this case I have a suggestion: An update could be the way.
    Thx
    P.S. Sorry again

    Hello @Compyweb,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I would like to assist you today in resolving the firmware update issue and the fax forward to email issues that you're experiencing on your HP Laserjet Pro 200 Colour MFP M276nw. I understand that you have been trying to update your printers firmware via the wireless connection but your printer does not want to do that. I'm going to provide you further instruction on how to properly update the firmware.
    How to Properly Update Firmware:
It is best to update firmware through a USB Cable connection. This is because the firmware update will reprogram your printer. Sometimes with wireless connections there can be intermittent communication. If the firmware update is interrupted in any way while the printer is being updated it can cause a programming failure on your printer. If this occurs you most likely would need a printer replacement. Also, a firmware update gets sent to your printer much like a print job. Therefore, you need to ensure that you do no have any print jobs in queue waiting to print before you update the firmware.
What I would suggest doing is running the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool. If you run this tool and select 'fix printing' than the tool will run a scan on your computer and ensure that the connection, software and driver are all properly setup. If the HP Print and Scan Doctor identifies any issues it will attempt to resolve them for you. I suggest installing the printer for USB connection before running this tool as you want to run the firmware update through USB.
    HP Print and Scan Doctor
Once you run the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool and get the all clear that everything is set up properly than you can run the firmware update. Please click on the following link for the proper firmware download:
HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility
Once the utility is downloaded, you want to run the tool and send the firmware to the printer. The printer may turn itself off at the end of the update, just turn the printer back on if it doesn't turn on automatically.
In terms of wanting to forward faxes to email or an alternative option like receiving faxes in a folder on your computer, these are not options that you have with your HP Laserjet Pro 200 Colour MFP M276nw. As the specs for your model printer: LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Specs indicate you only have the option to send faxes from a computer.
Should you still want to receive faxes to your email you could check out the third party service: Efax
However, I believe you may have to pay for this service. Also, should you have any issues with the Efax service HP does not support this on your product. That means that if you need technical support for efax you need to speak with efax regarding this. For further information regarding Efax, please visit: Efax: Easy faxing anywhere
Please let me know if this information resolves your issues. Good luck!

  • Problems with Sent mail and multiple accounts on the same server

I have 2 different email accounts that are on the same server. Regardless of the account from which I send the email, all of the sent messages end up in the same sent folder. Is there a way to force the sent messages to go into their correct Sent folder?

In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/. With that folder open, do Edit > Select All (⌘A), then Edit > Copy (⌘C), and paste it in your reply to this post, to let me see the names of the files and folders present at the root level of the Mail folder.
Before actually posting that information, you may edit it so that the file/folder names do not reveal any details you wish to keep private, e.g. you may replace any real username with "username" to hide your real email address if you wish; similarly, you may disguise any domain names you don't want to be revealed. Try to be consistent in how you disguise those details, though, as we may need to refer to them in subsequent posts.
Now, go to ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/. With that folder open, repeat the process to let me see the names of the files and folders it contains. Again, you may disguise any mailbox names you wish to keep private. Be careful to not alter any suffixes, though.
Finally, for the two accounts involved in the problem, locate the account folders within ~/Library/Mail/ -- their name begins with the account type (POP, IMAP, Mac), followed by the account username and the incoming mail server. For each account folder, repeat the process to let me see the names of the files and folders it contains.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the file path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the file path there.

  • SG-300 28P switches problem with VLAN Data and Voice, working all the time as Voice VLAN

    Hi Everyone,
Thank you very much for your help in advance. I’m pulling my hair to fix the problem.
I  just got the new SG-300 28P switches. My Bios ordered for me. I did not  know how it runs until now... not an IOS based. I really do not know  how to configure it.
I have 2 VLAN are Data and Voice.
    -          Data VLAN ID is 2 IP 192.168.2.X/255.255.255.0
    -          Voice VLAN ID is 200 IP 192.168.22.X/255.255.255.0
    -          I created two vlans, in switch, Data and Voice.
    -          On the port number 28, it is trunk by default, so I add Data vlan ID 2 tagged.
    -          On the port number 26, it is trunk by default, so I add Voice vlan ID 200 tagged.
    -          On the port number 27, I add Data vlan ID 2 tagged for Data vlan out.
    -          Port settings No.1
I set it up as Trunk with Data vlan 2 untagged, and  200  Tagged (voice vlan). I plugged in a phone with a pc attached. But the  PC will get to the vlan 200 to get the DHCP address, but no from vlan 2.  The Phone works with correct vlan ip.
    -          Port settings No.2
Trunk with vlan 1UP, 2T, and 200T. The phone is even worse. Would never pick up any IP from DHCP.
    -          Port settings No.3
Access  with 200U...of course the phone will work... and the PC could not get  to its own vlan. Instead, the PC got an ip from the voice vlan. Not from  VLAN 2.
I have Linksys phone I’m not sure if this help.
For more information I setup in switch,
                - enable voice vlan
    - set the port on auto voice vlan
    - enable LLDP-MED globally
    - create a network policy to assign VLAN 200
    - assign this network policy to the port the phone is connected to.
I  hope this information help to help me to setup Data and Voice vlans, to  plug the phone to work with vlan Voice 200 (IP rang 192.168.22.X), from  phone to Pc and pc work as Data vlan 2 (IP rang 192.168.2.X).

I just got done setting up voice VLANs on an SF 300-24P and verified working.  This was working with Cisco 7900 series phones connected to a Cisco UC setup.
    Here's my sample config.
Note that I edited this by hand before posting, so doing a flat out tftp restore probably won't work.  However, this should give you a clue.  Also, don't take this as 100% accurate or correct.  I've only been working with these things for about a week, though I've worked with the older Linksys SRW switches for a couple of years.  I'm a CCNP/CCDP.
VLAN 199 is my management VLAN and is the native VLAN on 802.1q trunks.
VLAN 149 is the data/computer VLAN here.
VLAN 111 is the voice/phone VLAN here.
    VLAN 107 does nothing.

  • Problem with german date and rfc function

    Hello,
i have created a function with the following import parameter in our ERP System:
    DATUM_BIS     TYPE     DATUM
    DATUM_VON     TYPE     DATUM
    SYSTEM                     TYPE     CHAR4
If i use this function as data service in the vc and create an input form by drag and drop then the datas that i type into the inputform will be "translated".
datum_bis:  30.12.07 will be translated to 12.06.2009 (us format)
    datum_von: 01.12.07 ""                           12.01.2007
    Date Format is Local Format.
I need the german format for my application. Who can i reach this
    Thank you
    Heiko

Hey you write the RFC in the backend system as DE as soon as u logon to the system. And u can also export your date as u want from your backend system as per your requirements. You contact the ABAP technical consultants,In ABAP we can specify the date format then you can get as per your requirements.

  • Serious problem with xorg - keyboard and mouse locks all the time.

In the last week I've notices serious problems with xorg.
After some event, I am not sure which one, keyboard stops responding.
Mouse cursor works, but I can't click on anything.
I can't switch to text console.
But I can kill xorg with CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE.
    Have you noticed something similiar?
    I use xfce4, [testing] repository.

I had that a few days ago, couldn't reproduce it. I was also running xfce4. I havn't had it today and im running xfdesktop+xfce-mcs-manager+pekwm+xfce4-panel... so it may have been xfwm4.

  • Persistent problems with Time Machine and Time Capsule

I've upgraded to the most recent firmware, the green light stays on, and from the finder's point-of-view, the drive is connected (and I can browse it, etc.). After an initial backup apparently succeeding, subsequent attempts by Time Machine fail. I've removed the file and started from scratch, but then the failures keep happening.
I've gotten both: "Unable to complete backup. An error occured while creating the backup directory." and "Backup disk image could not be mounted." I believe one of the times there was another failure message.
Is this a dud drive? A problem that is typical? I'm approaching the point of giving the drive back, which would really be too bad.

Theoretically if the drive was a dud, it wouldn't be able to read/write files. Try dragging files onto it to see if they will stay on there and if you can access them from it. Could be a time MACHINE problem, or a problem elsewhere. If the problem persists, take it to the apple store/call apple care!

  • Problem with group by and sum function

In one of the report I'm using grioup by clause on one column. However when I use this function the sum function on other column is not working.
Any idea how we can resolve this?

    Hi Tintin,
    Follow the below steps:
    1) On the order number column formula, use the max function.
    2) Duplicate the revenue column in the RPD, set the aggregation to sum and level to transaction. This will give you the sum of all the orders in a particular trasaction, where as in report you will see only the max account number.
    Assign points if helpful.
    Thanks,
    -Amith.

  • Problems with magic mouse and wireless keyboard at the same time

I have a Macbook pro 15" mid 2009, with lion 10.7.3, i bought a magic mouse and small wireless keyboard Apple, but when i'm working with both devices at the same time, the magic mouse begin to do something wrong, the left click work as left click, and  i have to turn off the keyboard, wait for a while and then the mouse work good, the keyboard work good alone and mouse too, but at the same time no.
What do you think about rarely issue?
    Thanks.

    Hello:
Try trashing a preference file (com.apple.bluetooth.plist) and restarting.

  • Problems with update/insert and the ON clause

I have two rather identical mappings, both supporting SCD Type II. One of them works, the other one doesn't.
As in the SCD whitepaper, I have a split, that ultimately ends in a union, and then UPDATE/INSERTs into the target dimension. My problem is, that though using the matching_id for matching in one mapping, it is not allowed in the second mapping. The error is ORA-38104: The columns refererred in the ON-Clause cannot be updated "MyTable.MyId" (all loosely translated).
I just don't understand it, as it should be able to match the ID, and if not found, create a new record using INSERT.
I found a description of the error that sounded like this (https://cwisdb.cc.kuleuven.ac.be/ora10doc/server.101/b10744/e38001.htm):
ORA-38104: Columns referenced in the ON Clause cannot be updated: string
Cause: LHS of UPDATE SET contains the columns referenced in the ON Clause
    Action: none
I just don't understand how this can be a problem, since I have to carry the surrogate key along, in order to assure that the proper records gets updated...
Anyone who can enlighten me on this one?
    Regards
    Kim

Oh yes :) I was a quite active participant. What puzzles me is, that I cannot get mapping #2 to work. I have tried to do everything virtually alike, with regards to the surrogate key, and the extra mapping column.
My setting for the keys are as below:
    Surrogate Matching
Load column when inserting: yes no
Load column when updating: yes no
Match column when updating: no yes
Load column when deleting: no no
Table best viewed in notepad :)
It "feels" like it's trying to update the surrogate key, instead of actually matching.
    Regards
    Kim

  • Problem with update form and date (show 1970-01-01)

Hi, I've a update form (php/mysql) with many date input field. When my date is 000-00-00 I show 1970-01-01. Why??
    This is the code:
    label for="data_chiusura"><strong>Data chiusura</strong></label>
          <input type="text" name="Data_chiusura" value="<?php echo $string=$row_Recordset1['data_chiusura'];
        if($string == '0000-00-00'){
        $string = '';
        } else {
        $string = date("d-m-Y", strtotime($string));
        }; ?>" id="Data_chiusura">
    Thanks
    k

Why would the date ever be null? As long as the date has a non-zero, non-null value this function will work correctly.
I'm a little confused by what you are doing here. So, you are pulling data from a table, and populating forms with it. This particular field is a date field, and the problem is that when the data for that field is a null, you are getting instead a date of 1970-01-01 displayed in that field - is that correct? What do you want to appear there when the data is null? Nothing?
