Now, if you have a legitimate iPhone and the hotspot feature is missing, does the carrier support that feature and are you paying them for it? Not all carriers support the feature.

I have iPhone 4 and I update it to iOS 7 and when I try to start the personal hotspot it crashed and for sometime my cellular data was also not working then allot a sudden the personal hotspot icon disappeared from my settings.

If you believe your iPhone is Jailbroken, then this will not work. If you use iTunes on computer, this will put iPhone to current iOS which is iOS 7.0.2

Often personal hotspot may not be visible because your carrier doesn't support it or you don't have an appropriate plan for it?
Have you updated anything at all? iOS/carrier settings?

You will have to re-enter your " Internet Tethering APN ",
from Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network
and it will magiclly appear again.. heheh

FaceTime icon disappeared from my iPhone 5
The FaceTime icon disappeared from my iphone 5. I'm not sure how long ago since I only noticed when I went to use it today. I looked at my husband's iphone 5 and his icon is also gone. I went to the App store to see if I could download it again, but original factory icon isn't there... just some copycats. I went to my iphone apps thinking I could bring it down from the cloud, but it wasn't there. My husband is able to use the computer's FaceTime and it does go to my phone, rings and I'm able to FaceTime... but I don't have the icon to initiate a call. Any ideas on how to get the icon back? Are things just messed up with the new update rolling out soon? Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks for any help.
There never was a facetime icon. There is nothing to download nor is there any need to. Facetime is accessed thru contacts for a person scroll to the bottom of the contact information and there you will see a facetime button. Tap that to facetime with the contact. You can facetime during a call as well. Nothing is messed up. That is the way it has always been.

My facebook icon dissapeared from my iphone 4s immediately after I updated my face book app. I have tryed everything to restore it but nothing worked and I couldn't even download it again because in the settings it says thats its installed and when try to open it it doesn't respond. Has any one experiebced the same thing or does anyone know any idea how to fix this?

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart. -

Personal hotspot has dissappeared from setting, I tried resetting my network setting but that didn't fix the problem
Have you tried to erase your drive and reinstall the OS - you should use recoery (hold Command + R keys while restarting). Since the items in the menu bar are part of the system, a clean reinstall of the system should take care of it.
As it is dangerous to post private information in a public forum, I will ask the hosts to remove it.
