Personal ID : You have no authorization to display.

Hi,
we have EP 7.0 and have deployed ESS/ MSS 1.0 buisness package.
When i go to Personal IDs in Personal information workset of ESS. It gives me following error :-
You have no authorization to display

For some of the employee it is working, but for some its not working.. i tried giving them Administrator role still it shows same error.
I dont know what authorization i am missing..

Thanks for replying...the link you provided talk about NWDI and CMS.....i am not importing my package into NWDI..
I get following error when an employee is trying to view his personal id from ESS role in portal..
i mean..when a user clicks on Personal ID link in portal..it gives me :-
You have no authorization to display.

We are implementing Hierarchy node based security for our BPS.
When the user tries to display the planning layout, they get the error message "You have no authorization for the requested data "
I have given authorization to the relavant Infocubes, also checked the all the Authorization Relavant Info Objects and added theses Info Object to the custom authorization created in RSECADMIN.
Also added the info objects 0TCAACTVT, 0TCAIPROV, 0TCAVALID to the custom authorization.
In pfcg, this authorization has been added to S_RS_AUTH. I have also given activity 02, 03, 16 values and a * to planning areas, functions, packages, groups, levels, folders, ... to the objects R_AREA
R_BUNDLE
R_METHOD
R_PACKAGE
R_PARAM
R_PLEVEL
R_PM_NAME
R_PROFILE
But still we get the same error.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Can you please provide me some clues to resolve this issue

I did run both ST01 trace and BI RSECADMIN trace. RSECADMIN Trace shows the below authorization failure

We have created custom authorization and trying to restrict based on hierarchy node.
One point I observed is, when I give access to all nodes with a wildcard * in the custom authorization, then the error disappears and the layout is visble. But our point here is to try to restrict based on the nodes and we cannot give display access to all nodes.

I faced the same problem yesterday, as Ivan told apply the transaction code rssm. In Business Information Warehouse Authorizations window go to checks for InfoProvider and select your Cube and click the change button. in that window you can see the which infoobjects are selected under switched on column deselct the checkboxes for authorization obj. save - refresh
and go to BPS screen execute your layout you can find your layout. I solved my problem like that.

Hi,
This is a Security set-up issue.
I would suggest doing an SU53 screen dump after you get this error.
Then send the screen dump to your Basis Security person. They should be able to decipher the Security violations and authorisation objects etc.

It is a standard message. SU53 should show the exact authorization object which has been blocked. Or you can also try to check this with T code ST01.
Refer the below threads & seek help from your basis consultant to get this resolved.

The error is arising from the form AUTH_CHECK_TYPE.

This might be beacuase you do not have authorization to that Tcode.
Go to SU53 tcode and check authorizations You have for your User name. Ask Basis people to provide authorization to the Tcode for your User id.

Hello,
Your Function/level makes use of an authorization relevant InfoObject without restriction (or at least no restrictions enough).
Check that the Level is restricted correctly regarding the authorizations.

HT3051 can you change your Change Your Displayed Name if you have multiple devices attached with the same apple id?

We have both a Iphone 4s and a 4th Generation Ipod Touch both with the latest available IOS software on them. Since the Ipod touch was given to a preteen for Christmas and they aren't old enough to have their own email account or apple id 11 years old going on 12, is it possible to have a different displayed name for each device if they are both signed in with the same apple ID and not interfere with each others device in doing so?

@pdroth. Displayed name as in when you sign up for a apple id you sign up with email and a screen name(this is your display name). If you are using any apple device as like you do with an android device you have to sign in with either your google acct for android or apple id for a apple product. If one apple product is utilizing that apple id already aka Iphone and you can't set up a account for your child because of his or her age because of age restrictions, both devices will use the same info. So for instance when using things like facetime instead of seeing jane doe calling jane doe(basically making it show name of other person using your account instead of seeing your own name) can you make on jane doe and one john doe using the same apple id just different outgoing display name. Hopefully this helps.

The wifi available in the building I live in requires you to accept a user agreement each time you log on (obviously Apple TV does not have the option to display a browser webpage, so is there any other way to connect my Apple TV to the wifi??

I cannot get my Apple TV to connect to the only available wifi connection in my building.
Basically when I log on to it with other devices you have to type in a password (like all wifi connections) but then it opens a browser window with a user agreement that you have to accept each time you log on. Since Apple TV does not have a browser option I can't log it on.
Is there anyway around this issue???
Or is there anyway to get content from my iPad to display on my Apple TV without an Internet connection on the Apple TV???
