Personal Suface Pro needing to access a Domain but don't want to connect to it
Hi
I have a personal Surface Pro I use for work and i would like to access websites and servers within work network. Overtime it asks me for a domain/username and password to access the information I'm after. The issue is sometimes it works but most of
he time it doesn't. I don't want to connect it to the Domain as its my device and i want to keep control of it.
Can anyone recommend the best way to do this or am i stuck with putting it on the domain.

It depends, if internet is controller by proxy servers, you might need to authenticate using domain ID.
I would suggest you to check with the Infra Admin in office.

Unlimited Data Plan-Need to change my phone but don't want to lose!!
I am "grandfathered" into the unlimited data plan, we have four lines, I need to change my phone as my current one doesn't work. I tried switching to an old phone that I used 6 months ago with the unlimited data via online and it would not allow me to do so. How can I change to another phone without being told I have to buy a data plan? If we need to "buy a data plan" all 4 phones will be going else where....
Makes no difference about any tin foil hats, Verizon is using ANY MEANS to force unlimited data users off the unlimited and onto share or metered data. It is a fact. They tried twice with me and I pay full price for my devices.
1) Change your minutes, they want to take away your unlimited.
2) Buy a new device on subsidy, lose your unlimited data.
3) Buy a new device on the Edge program, lose unlimited data.
4) Swap a device on your account, they want to take unlimited away.
5) Add a prepay tablet to your account, they tell you that you lose Unlimited data.
However the instructions are you are prepaying for the tablet use so its billed to your credit or debit card yet not really part of your cell phone plan but they want you to lose unlimited.
In short if you go online or call on the phone or even chat, for any reason in some cases Verizon is removing your unlimited data. And you have to be careful since many here are stating the same as I listed.
They are a business, if they decided not to have unlimited data trust me it will be gone. So leave a little room in that tin foil so the broadcast will get through.
Just for a giggle, many many years ago I bought an unlimited Mobil Gasoline coffee cup. You paid for it once and each time you came to a Mobil station you get a free coffee. I still have the cups (they came in two sizes) yet just try and get that free coffee. The company dropped the promotion. And now you get arrested for theft.

Your files are in a separate folder on your computer, not in the DW folder, so they should be safe.
If your site is live, your files are also on the server, and can be downloaded later if necessary.
DW simply allows you to edit those files by means of your site definition which tells DW where to find those files. Before uninstalling DW, export your site definition (an STE file) to a safe place on your computer for later import into your next DW installation.
Use the cleaner tool before installing your new DW. -

we donot have access other domain thats why we want other solution..All the paths to CFCs are the same in my live production site. Can you be more specific as to what you mean by "RemoteClass aliases in your AS Classes and CFCs (if any) are correct."? How will the app know that the CFC is on http://myLiveSite.com instead of http://myDevSite.com? The only line of code that I have noticed that points to a URL is the endpoint in a file called _Super_XXX.as. And at the top of that file it says that the file is not meant for editting.
To clarify...I see your app/code all exists on a server access via a web browser so I can understand that everything still works when deployed. Mine is a mobile app so when I am developing and testing on my local computer the URL points to my local development machine. However when I deploy it to a mobile device like a tablet and run the app, it needs to be able to access a cfc on a remote server via a different URL ie. my http://myLiveSite.com/myCFC.cfc instead of http://localhost/myCFC.cfc

You need to restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer, hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Click Restore button of iTunes.

Need to wipe out HD but don't have the install disk? I want to sell my Macbook Pro 15 inch. I have the orginal disk it came with but it's leopard and I have seens then upgraded to Lion. Now I can't find Lion and the install disk (leopard) tells me you can't you this disk. So does ANYONE out there know anyway I can work around this???
I have tried the recovery HD by rebooting (holding down opiton and R) but it dosn't do anything but restart the comptuer.
Am I doing something wrong?First, if you purchased Lion at the app store, the license is not transferable - it is forever tied to your Apple ID. So you can't sell the machine with Lion on it (there is no install disk for Lion anyway). You do need to reinstall the original OS so the buyer can purchase Lion with their own Apple ID.
As for your problem with the install disk - you do need to boot from another disk in order to erase your hard drive. Have you tried to insert it and then go to System Preferences > Startup Disk > select it and then hit restart? -
Is there anyway to turn off the Group MMS texting? I want to send a mass text but don't want every person to see every other person's response. I am getting ready to have a baby and want to send one text out to friends and family when the baby comes BUT I don't want all of those people to receive the responses. Can I turn it off temporarily? Please help!

I need the numerical performance of the Windows 1.4.2 server vm for a 3D product I am working on, but don't want to force my users to download the entire JDK to get it. What is the official line regarding whether I can install just the server vm within their existing JRE? And can the vm be set within an applet?
This of course also poses issues such as version control, both dealing with what is currently installed and now also dealing with auto-updates.
I am currently paying a 325% performance penalty when using the client vm for numerical work!

JRE? No. Basically the entire JRE must be installed. There are certain parts that can be left out. You can check the readme for a list of those. I doubt it is going to save much.
I could be mistaken but I also think you will find that getting the VM to run in server mode will also require a configuration change in the browser - and you are not going to be able to do that via a normal applet. And it will impact all java from that point on as well. -

They come with a app to create them from a hidden partition on the hard drive, but that also requires an external USB DVD Burner. Otherwise you can go to this post to find out how to order replacement media.
