Personalization on Quoting R12 Page

Hi all,
Is it possible to personalize Quoting page in R12. The create item button is not visible in this page and i am sure this is a OAF page by the look of the page structure and its metadata info. Please help if any one has worked on this QotQuoteSearchPG

Yes on this page create button is not there.
I forgot the exact the reason but I think if at page level "Add Indexed Child Property" is set then we can't create the items using personalization.
If you want to create items then you can extend the controller and then create required item.

DFF Problem in OAF(R12) page

I imported all the personalizations from 11i to R12 but why these details are not coming

how to import these flexfield details(Due to this the above fields are also not coming in R12)?

Hi Sunit,
Please tell how to personalize it directly.Because there is no such personalization for these DFF in 11i.But still there are lovs and Date fields which are mapped to these DFFs.
And also in about this page i can find entry for DFF in 11i.

Unable to see the personalization link on any page

Hi,
I am unable to see the personalization link on any of my pages (not even on login page).
I am setting the profile option value to "Yes" for the profile option
FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled
Also I have bounced the Apache.
Please help me as I am stuck due to this.

Did you enabled the profile option Personalize Self-Service Defn (FND_CUSTOM_OA_DEFINTION) .It must be set to Yes.

Personalization Error: Cannot Display Page

Hi,
i've attached a stack layout region to a OA standard page via personalization.
It contains an extension of the standard AM (and its substitution) and table with some messagestyledtext and Lovs.
The table is displayed and also the values contained in the lovs are correct, but when I click on the torch I get the seguent error:
"Error: Cannot Display Page
You cannot complete this task because one of the following events caused a loss of page data:
* Your login session has expired.
* A system failure has occurred.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward."
This Lov takes value from a VO associated with a new AM, but I get the same error trying to use a VO already included in the base AM..... but everything still works on the page, just the pop-up doesn't works!....how can I solve it?

It seems you are trying to extend the root AM and hence getting this error. Extension/substitution of root AM is not allowed in OAF.

I also tried the method to know the information OA_HTML/OAInfo.jsp
It returned as
"This JSP is no longer supported. To view the information that this JSP provided, please log in to Oracle E-Business Suite, and select the About this Page link."

Affect of new Org responsibilities to personalizations of standard OAF Page

Hi,
Let say personalizations are done to Standard OA Pages at the levels (Function, User, Responsibility, Org etc) using a responsibility of the Old GL Setup ( Old Orgs). Now if the New GL setup is added to the system, that is new orgs are added and new responsibilities are added. And let say, the new responsibilities are using the same Standard OA pages that were personalized from old responsibilities.
Will all same set of personalizations of these standard OA Pages will be seen from the new responsibilites by default or do we need to take any extra step to make those personalizations affect take place in New responsibilities too?
Please assist as to what it takes from both the Technical and Administration side?

My requirement is like, there is a source LOV on one of the iProcurment page. And customer wants to populates value say 'Source A' for a random group of persons. Hope you understand my requirement.

Personalization on standard approval page

I would like to add some verbiage to the Oracle workflow approval page via personalization. The document is /oracle/apps/fnd/wf/worklist/webui/NotifDetailsPG. All approvals seem to use this page. The catch is that I only want this verbiage to appear for Effort Reporting approvals and no others. For example, it should not appear for timecard approvals, purchasing approvals, etc. I am wondering if this is possible to do without going deep into OA customizations. I have only had experience with OA Framework personalizations. We are on Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2. Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

Adding Field on Sales online Quote Line Page

We need to add three additional columns on âQuotation Linesâ Page in Sales Online module.
In that one column value come from data base(Standard Cost) and two other columns(total gross, total gross%) are summary columns.
We have added those column in âqotSCocLnPrc.jspâ page but those are not reflecting on front end.
We put modified âqotSCocLnPrc.jspâ file under âhtmlâ folder of application server.
Which file has to be customized ?, where to put those modified files in application server unix box?

How can I trace Oracle r12 pages

Hello,
I want to customize a document created with WebADI, so, I need the name of the pages that the document displays for the lists of values. But I can´t find the name of those pages that's why a want to now if there is a way to track those pages and find their names.

Hello,
When you log on to the workflow home page, only users having workflow admin privileges can access the admin pages. This is set as part of the global preferences in workflow during the install.

Unable to login into R12 Page.

Was this working before? If yes, any changes been done recently?
Can you find more details about the error in the application and the database log files?

We have done personalization on the supplier pages to display the record history icon at site level .
The record History icon is displayed but when I click on that the following error is diplayed:
You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance. Click here for exception details .
Any help on this is greatly Appreciated.

Smart quotes not working in Pages 5.5.2

I'm unable to get smart quotes in Pages.
I'm on a 2009 iMac, using Yosemite 10.10.1, Pages 5.5.2
I've followed the instructions on Apple's page (http://help.apple.com/pages/mac/5.0/#/tanad45f9cce) to make all quotes smart quotes in my document and it didn't work.
When I opened Substitutions in Pages the box for smart quotes was ticked, unticking and reticking and doing 'replace all' made no difference.
Prior to this I'd just changed the font style setting for the document from Courier New to Times New Roman.
I've also checked in System Prefs/Keyboard/Text where 'Use smart quotes' is ticked.
I'm formatting a book, this is holding up production of my book as all quotes are non-curly, straight quotes and need to be changed to smart quotes.
I'm wondering whether I shouldn't go back to the previous version of Pages where everything seemed to work, including auto capitalisation.

Additionally re my first post above I've tested for smart quotes in MS Word 2008 and Mail 8.1 and they both support smart quotes. Word also converts between quote types.
I've had to create a workaround to get my Pages document showing smart quotes:
I tested smart quote support in Word by pasting a page from the Pages document into Word and then converting the straight quotes to curly quotes. which worked. I then copied that text and pasted it back into a new blank page in Pages, the smart quotes stayed curly. So, I'm about to copy and paste my whole book, 55,000+ words, into Word and convert quotes and then paste it back into Pages.
It seems like the smart quotes issue is Pages 5.5.2 specific and has been for quite some while.
