I have a form with folders. I need to add more conditions with the default folder query.

How to create folder and items in content area without edit folder option

Hello!!
I would like to create something to users can create and insert folders and items in content area without using the edit folder option.They would have a form to include the name of the file and the name.i would like to do this for the end users can insert files more easily. Can i do this? Anyone can help me ??

You use this node to combine inferior nodes to logical groups
The more extensive a form, the less clear the node hierarchy in the tree structure. To avoid this, you can combine related nodes under a folder node. When displaying tables, you can use the folder node to protect multiple table lines against automatic page break (see: Page Protection for Tables).
Nodes assigned to cells of a template can be identified more easily in the tree structure if there is a folder for each line or column.
Depending on the length of time by which the last date for payment has been exceeded, each dunning letter should start with a different introduction. Create a text node containing the relevant dunning letter for each dunning level and specify conditions to print only one of the nodes. In this case, it is a good idea to group the different text nodes together in a folder.
Procedure
Create a node of type Folder in the navigation tree of the Form Builder.
Enter a unique name for the node and a description (for example, cells of the third line).
To assign other nodes to the folder, use Drag&Drop to put them in the folder node or insert new nodes as subnodes.
On the Events tab, you can activate a header and a footer area. For more information, see Printing Tables.

Since Apple is no longer providing MobileMe, and since my version of iWeb only has the option of publishing to mobile me (the "upgrade" eleviated the "publish to folder" option), how do I publish my web page to a remote host?

I used to have an amazing home page that I used with my students:

The school district "UPGRADED" to the new operating system. iWeb, which I have been using for years, no longer supports my ability to publish to the district server. Apple thought it wise to force us to use MobileMe. Furthermore, Apple decided that MoblieMe is no longer unavailable. To add insult to injury, the new version of iWeb doesn't even have a "save to folder" option any more. In other words, I can no longer use iWeb.
Am I totally screwed?
Is there another way to publish my site?
Will Apple make me purchase yet another "upgrade"?
Is this a total rip off?

ps. As a loyal Apple customer (since 1982), I find these antics very frustrating.

I suggest you upgrade to the latest iWeb version while copies are still availalbe: iLife '11 - Apple Store (U.S.). That's because it's now confirmed that iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.
In addition the iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on.
HOWEVER, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still currently available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those copies still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD.

Firefox 4.01 downloads files but the downloads windows greys out the "Open" and "Open containing folder" options and I can't trace the files

Three days ago I upgraded to Firefox 4.01. I downloaded several files that were ok. Yesterday and today I downloaded one powerpoint file and a an apple *.dmg file.
On the Download window these two files I can see with the total mb in size. However when I right click the file list in the Download window the "Open" and "Open containing folder" options are greyed out. What is more I cannot find these files anywhere on my computer when I use Windows Explorer to search.
It seems that this happened after I tried to download a Firefox add on from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/64761/amazonassist-0.7.2.6-fx.xpi and my antivirus picked up the JS/Kryptik.AK trojan and terminated the connection. Is there a link with the problem I am experiencing?
I use Windows 7 professional, Firefox 4.01

How do I create an association in Folder Options?
I tried to start using the free version of Photoshop to organize pictures and (hopefully) set up the screen saver to view a group of pictures instead of them being randomly selected as Windows XP does it.
However on right clicking on a picture, and then on "Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3 up comes this message: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel".
If someone would kindly advise me just exactly how to do this, I'd be most obliged.

It seems your Folder Associations got broken somehow. To restore them, you would need to do the following:
1) Open Windows Explorer
2) Select Folder Options from the Tools Menu
3) In the Folder options Window, select the File Types tab
4) In the Registered File Types list, you will see a list of all types of file name extensions.
5) Select the extension of the file that you were trying to open
6) Click the Open button and select Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition (Viewer) option.
7) Click OK and it should work now.

Keeps telling me my file does not have a program associated with it and go to folder options in the control pane. Where is it located

When I try to save a file the download window keeps coming up. When I click to open the erro message says "File does not have a program associated with it for performing this function. Create an association in the folder options control panel." Where is this control panel and what kind of association do I make. Usually it was adobe but I don't have that choice

Also it could be the type of file you are downloading. Like if it was a type of text that your default word processor did not accept it would give you that message.

Installed on a win XP OS:
Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1)
Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (Universal)
Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (Western European)
I keep getting this pop up dialogue box whenever I click go to Database Homepage.
"This program does not have a file attached with it to perform this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel."
I'm planning to learn Oracle and SQL*Plus so I'm not sure what version I need for basic usage. I only need the SQL command line and probably an application that can create database or tables easily.
Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you.

I tried to type http://localhost:8080/apex into my browser, the result is:

The SQL command line is working, but just going to the Database Home Page would result to that pop up dialogue box. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

I am testing Authorization part of the dashboard rite-now and issue is like I am not able to Create any New Folder within My Folder for Catalog.
I gave my self Read, Traverse Access to dashboard and Reports that are stored in Shared Folder, now I want to use Shared folder's Reports and want to create My Dashboard. but even I am not able to Create My Dashboard too because I can't save any reports in My Folder.
I checked with Manage Privileges options too, where I gave access to any Authenticated Users to create Personal Storage (My Folders and My Dashboard) , Create Folders , Save Customizations ..
if there any other change that i need to do???

Yes, I just tested this thing out in 11.1.1.5. Please find more details below.
1. I create a sample 'BIConsumer' user.
2. Logged into the BI Server.
3. Navigated to Catalog and clicked on New
4. I could get only two options 'Report Job' and 'Action Intelligence'.
To provide proper privileges,
1. Logged into BI Server as BIAdministrator.
2. Navigated to Administration -> Manage Privileges -> Catalog/
3. Given explicit permissions to 'BIConsumer' to create folders and 'My folders and Dashboard'.
To verify,
1. Logged back to BI Server as 'BIConsumer' user.
2. Now, in the catalog could see 'New Folder' option under 'My folders'
For further analysis, can you please check which roles this particular user is having? You can click on username at the top right corner -> My Account->Roles and Catalog Groups.

I am no longer able to sync multiple photo albums/folders on my iphone. I use to be able to sync many folders and now itunes only gives the option of 1 folder. How do I get back to the multiple folder option?

first time to the discussion forum. Like I stated in the title, I use to be able to have all my photo albums sync to my iphone. I did something and now it only allows me to "sync photos from..." and it only allows me to chose from 1 of my folders and not pick multiple folders from my photo library. does anyone know how to get back to the multiple folder option? I'm sure its simple since I changed this so easily when trying to add a single folder to my library.

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

Summary :
We are using SharePoint 2010 Ent edition and users were able to checkout Pdf files similar to local drafts folder like any other office file without any problem when they used office 2010.
i.e
Unfortunately ever since their machines upgraded with office 2013 recently , this functionality completely stopped working for PDF files. This has now become a big problem for the users when it comes to check out and replace PDF files.
All browser plugins required for this functionality (i.e SharePoint OpenDocuments Class ) are all available and active. All document libraries are configured to Checkout is required for editing files. Browser version
used at the moment is IE9 (32 bit) version with windows 7.
Can anyone please help with this issue and any help to get away with this problem is much appreciated.

Based on your description, my understanding is that the PDF files cannot be checked out to local drafts folder after Office 2013 is installed.
Did this issue occur with Office files?
I recommend to check if the Office files can be checked out to local drafts folder with Office 2013.
And it is recommended to use Office 2010 with SharePoint 2010 for best practice.

Windows 2008 R2 - Group Policy Preference - folder option "Open with" Access denied

We have Citrix terminal servers running Windows 2008 R2 and attempting to force PDF files to open with Acrobat versus PDF editing software we have installed for a small subset of users. So I created a Group Policy Preference and added a OpenWith item
to the Folder Options to use Acrobat as the default and linked it to a Users OU. However, if I run gpresult the OpenWith setting fails with error code 0x80070005. You can change it to not run in the user's security context which eliminates the
error but then it won't actually do anything.
The problem seems to be that when a user sets another program as their default via Windows Explorer the permissions on HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.pdf\UserChoice get changed so that the user is specifically
denied the ability to set that key. Remove the special permissions added and the group policy succeeds and changes it back to the default ... until the user changes it back (intentionally or otherwise) and the permissions are changed again.
Any ideas here?

We use GPP Registry to achieve this goal, so we do not run into that
issue (we unchecked "run in users context", so privs are not an issue)
But I agree, this really should work as intended...
