Personalized mail

I'm asking this from a customer point of view...
the customer may need to add an attachment to the personalized mail So, are they allowed to "edit" the personalized mail??? As in they go into the
SAP Menu -> Marketing -> Personalized Mail
and then attach the necessary file?
The attachment may want to attach a different image each time they send out the invitation mail. So how can they do this?
If they can't, then can someone suggest how i can allow them to send attachments together with the invitation mail which will be sent with the survey in campaign automation?

You load the attachment in the Campaign Automation as a Document on the campaign element your email is used in.
Then, when the campaign runs, it sends your email you created in CRMD_EMAIL and attaches the file from the campaign.
For the image issue, you might be able to edit your email so the link to the image includes the BP or a Marketing Attribute field in it pertinent to the image name.
For example

Questions about Personalized MAIL Forms

Hi all!
I got some questions regarding the Personalized Mail Forms in CRM:
1. When you set up the subject part of the Form is it possible to "personalize it too"?
What i mean is it possible to add attributes to the Subject for example the target's name etc. etc., just like you can do it in the mail's body?
2. How can you add system attributes to the mail form's body in a Text: i would like to add the &SFSY-PAGE& and &SFSY-FORMPAGES& attributes specially?
3. If i would like to insert a picture which is on my local drive, it's got inserted but doesn't wanna show, only a red cross. What is the possible problem?
4. I got the same problem when i wanna set up a background for the form, it doesn't wanna show. What are the things that i should check about it?
5. When i set up windows (sub or main either) on a page and i set their attributes like width or length those attributes only affect the Form Painter and don't affect the Form itself.
In Smart Forms when you set a window, it's attributes also affect the Form itself and not just the location of the window in the Form Painter.
What i mean is that i would like to set up different windows on a page on different locations ( like a header or a footer one ) but that only appears in the Form Painter, and it doesn't affect the page itself.
Any solution for this?

E 6 Personal Mail setup -- please help

Hello E6 experts,
can you please help me with the steps involved in setting up personal mailboxes in the E6? It's been asked before here... Every time I begin using the mail setup "wizard" I only reach the option for Mail for Exchange. How can one bypass that to setup Gmail and a regular, Imap personal mail box? What might I be missing? I just found out about the problem-- One has to have a SIM card installed (at least for the first time) to be given the options for the various mail services up-front during mail setup. I was trying t do this without a SIM card --using the WiFi connection-- which every other cell phone I have owned allowed me to do. Apparently the E6 is different... Perhaps this will help someone

Not mixing Exchange and personal mails

Hello,
I use my Mac at home (shared family computer), and Exchange at work.
I can create my Exchange account easily, and it works.
But then, my inbox mixes my personal e-mail adresses (I have 12) and my work e-mail.
I would like to separate both.
The inbox is good with my personal mails as my 12 pop accounts are retrieved and i can view them in one place. But when I had my Exchange account, I suddenly add 3000 mails mixed up with my personal mails.
I could try to create "smart mailboxes", Does anyone have an idea better than that?

Smart Mailboxes is probably the best way. Or you could create a rule to filter Exchange emails into a separate mailbox

Segment Builder - viewing contact person mail id in TG

Hi,
I have a requirement i need to create a TG in seg.builder,and this TG should have the BP's say for eg. SOld to party's Contact person mail id.In GUI if we go and open the TG we can find the BP and if we choose the magnifier we can view the mail id of Sold to party , is it possible to see the Contact person's mail ID there? Please give the customization path for this.

Hi ,
The following is the procedure to display the Email ID of the Contact Person .
> Select the TG and Right Click on it . Open the Target Group .
> You get the display of the TG records in the detailed area . Select the first option from the right hand sideyou get to see the following options like Choose Layout , Change Layout , Save Layout and Manage Layout .
Here you select and click on Change Layout .
> In the Column Set select the field ' Internet mail (SMTP) address for CP ' and click on the ' Show selected fields ' option and
the field will transfer to the Displayed Columns .
Save the changes .
And Open the TG from the Right Click you could see the Email ID displayed of the CPs .

hey
personalised mail form cant be transported ,they are made inside the development server or the server which you work at the moment
theere is no request being involved for transporting the mail form
so you just go and create the mail form again
else you can save the request if any generated inside the package and use that package to transport the mail form from one server to other

Personalized mail - mass mailing

Hi friends,
I have created a personalized mail as part of CRM Mktg > Personalized mail.
Now I want to send this mail to say 100 business partners. Where shoud I do the setting.
Is it possible to send the mail to a particular target group which I have identified for a particular prod promotion.
Inputs are highly appreciated.

Hi Bindu,
You can send the your personalised mail to a target group in following ways
1. If you just want to send the mail and do not want to capture the response, then follow the below said steps
a. Create a campaign in t code crm_mktpl, and put all the info like Campaign ID, Mrktg org, Paln start & end dates etc.
b. Create a campaign element by right click on the campaign and put the id for the same.
c. In Campaign element 's Channel tab Choose email in "Communication medium"
d. Put one of the BP in "sender " field or a email id in E mail address (it needs relevent configuration)
e. Choose your personalized mail from the search field in "Form for Email"
f. In segment tab assign the target group using search help and save the campaign
g. From the menu bar click on Extra and choose the option "Target group to channel"
2. Another option is to use the campaign automation process if you want to track the responses.

I have a doubt . do we need mail forms whenever we r using send email in ICWC. actually when we are clicking on new email getting short dump which is coming from check_tracking_text method from the mail class.it is trying to get mail_form name but does not find any so giving dump.any help will be really appreciated

Hi,
Personalized mail form can be modified either in the "Design" area or "Source" area of the mail form. There are several options available to modify the mail form through various icons there. One of an important personalized option that is used is e.g. in a mail we need to personalization like Dear X (where X is taken from the BP record) you can personalize by pulling up attributes from Attributes window in the left hand side.
You can also do modifications in the "Source" area of the mail form but in that case you need to be comfortable in HTML programming. Also, you have to ensure that you are using correct version of HTML as SAP is using.

It will not automatically delete any emails; you will need to do that. You may suffer performance issues in Mail if you let your mailboxes become too bloated. And, aside from Mail, the files take up a lot of room are photos, videos, and music, so you might want to watch those - every once in a while, check how much hard drive space you have and make sure you empty the trash regularly. Checking your hard drive space: highlight your Macintosh HD icon on the desktop; hit Command + I and check the total capacity, and how much is left.

Icloud mail synching with other persons mail

Recently set icloud to synch mail and cal on my i-phone4 - working well but I am getting another persons mail - (same name / surname as me) - any ideas how to fix?

I'm happy to report the resolution of this problem, at least for me. This may not cover problems others were having.
In my case, I am using an AppleID I set up a long time ago, before I had an Apple email account, so my AppleID is an email address on the yahoo.com domain. (Note, I have also configured my @me.com address as an alternate AppleID.)
When setting up my @me.com email on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad), it had no problem with this, even after changing passwords. But, from Outlook 2010 and W8 Mail it does. In my case, after changing the password, the incoming mail server (imap.mail.me.com) would connect just fine with my non-Apple email AppleID and new password. However, Apple has configured their outgoing mail server (smtp.mail.me.com) to only accept sends from a @me.com or @icloud.com address. So, when I used my alternate AppleID with the @me.com address to login separately to the smtp server, it works fine.

I m having list of Email id of Customer in ExceIsheet, i want to send the Personalized mail to them without creating BP for the data b'cos the listed email id's are already my exsiting BP.
How do i send mail to the list of email id's without creating BP of them again ????
I have created ztable for uploding the said list in the same Ztable, then i m using infoset to map that email id's to BP but what would be the next step ?????
Please suggest ASAP.

I followed the steps given by you as i have created one empty target group & imported the file contaning the Email id's but it not works !!!!
after uploding the file for target group it does not shows any of entry in the target group(as zero entry)
Plese understand my scenario again !!!
(i m having list of only email id's for which i want to send the mails without creating business partner to them)
Please tell me if i m missing any step or advice me the step by step.
