Personas Rotator has stopped working, again

Since downloading the latest Firefox, V? (not sure) Personas rotator has stopped working and the 'enable' button has disappeared. I had just got it working perfectly that only lasted a few weeks, then it just stopped.

By stopped working do you mean frozen
Sometimes people have found that performance increased by changing the Search behaviour

So confused my card reader has stopped working again

My card reader has stopped working again. It's done this before and I just uninstalled it and then downloaded and installed the Ricoh Driver from Toshiba's website and that fixed it right up.
This time though it's not working. Here's the confusing part. When I download the Ricoh Driver and Open it it shows it's extracting the Ricoh Card Reader Driver which is good. Then the next screen says Welcome to the Logix Pro 500 Simulator Setup Wizard.
Now Logix Pro is my dh's PLC/electrical program. Why are these getting crossed over? What can I do to fix my reader?

Never mind! I figured it out. I was trying to download it with Firefox. I tried again using Internet Explorer and it works perfectly now!

Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working (again)

Upgraded fromearlier version and successfully imported catalog. Have been doing weeks worth of organizing, when this morning an album was open and I got some kind of corruption error message. I repaired the catalog, despite being informed there was no corruption and,.when it completed, I began getting "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working" errors from Windows 7. From this point forward, the error occurs seconds after opening the organizer. I have tried deleting the psa.prf and status.dat, with no luck.
I have also tried launing the organizer directly, also with no luck. After reading several related posts, I am getting the sense that this product is now being sold without support, ala some 1980's software.
Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?

Screen rotation has stopped working on my Ipad 3. How do i rectify?

My screen roation has stopped working. It stays on the landscape setting all the time.
Its not the screen lock or the mute button.
I've completed a hard reset, reset to factory settings and updated the recent download and nothing is curing the problem.
If anybody else has experienced this or knows how to rectify my problem your help would be very much appreciated.

Adobe Bridge CC has stopped working -again

After many months of pain caused by Bridge CC not working it seemed to be cleared up in Sept '14. (I used just about every fix that was suggested incl. preferences changed to have no program load on startup, managing cache, etc.) I has been working flawlessly until today. My pc notified re: windows updates were ready to install. I cleaned my pc, closed all programs and installed 23 updates. (Win7, 64bit) Updates seemed to install cleanly but Bridge CC will not open and displays a white screen and the msg "Adobe Bridge CC has stopped working" This began immediately after the os updates were installed so I suspected that was the issue. I restored the pc to before the updates and CC will still not open (stopped) and in desperation I tried Bridge CS6. CS6 opened normally and I was able to open a folder. Touching the space bar should have opened the selected file to full screen image but instead I got the same error msg now saying Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working. I have the same programs on my laptop and CC opens and works properly. So that sounds like my pc and not Bridge is the problem but there is an incompatibility somewhere and I am stuck and my work is piling up as I speak. I need my bridge back!

This problem has been solved by Microsoft, rebuilt Win7. I would like to delete my question to reduce clutter here but I don't know how to delete it. A moderator may delete this if they wish or someone can add to my reply and instruct me. Thanks!

The rotation has stopped working on my iPad2 whilst I was using Skype. I have tried all settings and lock/unlock buttons but just can't get it to work.

The rotation feature on my new iPad 2 has suddenly stopped working. I was on Skype.
Shop guy (who didn't seem to be an Apple specialist) simply said it "oh the sensor has gone - sent it back to Apple"
Any one else had this problem? Any solutions?

10.8.2 mac mail won't send. reset modem and router and it worked for one day and has stopped working again

My imac is running 10.8.2 mountain lion and has been since it came out. In the last couple of days the Mail program has stopped sending. Incoming is OK. The message I get is that " my sender address was rejected by the server". We have 3 macs running Mail [2 of them running mountain lion and 1 running snow leopard] that have the same issue. Our other 2 Macs using Eudora are working fine. WHY ??????

Mail - Prefrences - Accounts - reinput all the settings you see. I believe one or more is corrupt, re-inputting them will reset them. You can also try Apple's suggetstions in:

That doesn't sound good at all! Have you tried reinstalling the client again? Are you getting any error messages? Give us a bit more detail if you're still having problems and we might be able to suggest some things to try.

My iPhone has stopped working. I have insurance but Verizon isn't willing to send a replacement. Please help!

I have insurance on my iPhone 4 with the extended warranty. For the last few days, I've been having non-stop problems with the phone. Freezing, closing apps when it wants to, restarting itself. I called Verizon customer support and explained the problem. She tried to do basic troubleshooting on my phone but I had to stop the process because I wasn't near a Wi-Fi to do a hard reset after the basic troubleshooting. Which wasn't a problem.
So today my home button stopped working completely. I had to turn off the phone and turn it back on after opening an application because I couldn't do anything with it. So I called Verizon to see about more troubleshooting and the girl (who was very nice btw) helped me do a hard reset. The home button started working, but now has stopped working again.
The thing with the warranty on the phone.. when I bought the phone from someone, I was asked if I wanted insurance on the phone when I activated it. I said yes. So the insurance was added. Now that something is wrong with my phone, I am being told that the warranty should have never been added because I didn't get the phone actually from Verizon. I have been paying for insurance each month as long as I have had the phone. If not almost a year, maybe a little over a year? I'm not sure how long I have had the phone. So I have insurance on the phone right now.. and I cannot get my phone replaced. I do not work for Verizon, so if I am asked if I want insurance and I say yes, I expect and assume it's covered incase something goes wrong. Which is the point of having insurance. Now, it's a different story? I am confused and a little upset with the whole situation. The only thing the Verizon rep today told me was that she could refund me three months of charges on the insurance and get it removed for me. I did not agree to that and I didn't want the insurance removed as of right now until I get this fixed. I told her that it wasn't about the money for the insurance.
I am hoping someone with Verizon on here can help me with my phone situation because apparently it's something with software. Please help!

I would think that at the very LEAST you would be eligible for a COMPLETE refund of ALL charges for insurance paid thru Verizon! They were charging you for something you were ineligible for! Verizon has a record of whether or not you purchased the phone from them - otherwise how could they deny the claim!
It very sad to see how customer service and customer satisfaction has been lost here ... !

After firefox automatic up date my Sothink web video downloader(full version) has stopped working. I have reinstalled the software but still does not work.

About 3 update ago it did the same thing then all of a sudden a new update and it started working again now with the last update it has stopped working again.

Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.

well, everything appears to have resolved itself. Let me put this down in case it is of use to other iphone/gmail types.
1. apparently I must have had either a lot of different computers/devices accessing gmail at the same time and it locked me out. As sailman says above, what precisely is locked out is a mystery, but in my case it was my pc/outlook, my apple mail 4.1 and my iphone. Web access worked fine
2. when i ran the https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha command I had to do it on both my pc and my mac and eventually they came back up. The iphone was last, and took at least 24hours
3. one thing that google doesn't communicate well is that you can sync your contacts and calendar by setting the iphone up via an exchange account, i.e. http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138740 . Then you need to set up mail separately by adding it as an "other" type of account - i.e http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=77702

[Consolidation Locked] Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working

When I go to organizer in both programs windows shuts down the program, massage pops up "elements 11 organizer has stopped working , A problem with caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "

My microphone has stopped working on my ipad 2 16GB 3G. How do I get it to start working again?

I am not sure when it happened but my microphone has stopped working on my ipad 2. I downloaded an application from the App Store called Starmaker for my daughter. When she tried to follow the start up instructions, she could not make a demo recording as there is no sound.
My daughter and I have used the recording/sound facility before as, when away from, I have used Skype and my daughter has used the talking animal apps.
I have tried a hard reset and tried to clear the microphone by blowing on it and using the hoover attachment to clear it but unfortunately there has been no difference.
I would be grateful for any advice you have to clear this problem, so I can have the full use of my ipad again.

If you have a passcode on the device and you don't know it, then thats another issue. For that, the ipad will need to be restored. This may or may not also resolve your mic issue.
You didn't say wether or not the mic fails with just this one app, or with facetime and skype as well.

I'd stay away from using anything like a vaccuum on the ipad, but clean air might work
