Personlization a message choice dont take effect in the search

iRecruitment Employee Candidate --> home --> jobs
in the search region:my customer dont want the Job Category show width message choice style, it want like the DatePosted2 style.
but i can't find the difference between Job Category field and DatePosted2 ,so i personlization a new message chioce and the attributes as follows:
Picklist Display Attribute:Meaning
Picklist Value Attribute:LookupCode
Picklist View Definition:oracle.apps.irc.picklist.server.IrcProfessionalAreaVO
Selective Search Criteria:true
Prompt: Job Category
View Attribute:ProfessionalArea
View Instance:IrcCandidateSearchCriteriaVO
the new field appear and the lov is OK,but i find it dont take effect in the search result.

Table binding........is the corret solution to have the new resutls to be shown....what it does is.Binding stores the latest information to the node.......
Check the tbale events......if there is ONENTER event you can write the same code ...for callucuations...bind the table again...........One thing to remember...this will only trigger when teh USER presses the ENTER key.....but on every ENTER event this code gets triggered..better keep a button for calculation and perform the code in this.......Sometimes the users are lazy to press ENTER everytime...

the restart of weblogic server¡£Why? How can I solve it£¿

Check that your classpath is not set up to this class when you start the
          server and check the ProductionDeploymentMode to false in the starting
          parameters!

My reviews don't take effect in the iTunes store.

My issue is with leaving reviews. Mine don't seem to take effect in the iTunes store.
This is the most explicit example I got : When I try to edit a review that I know I posted, I have literally nothing, instead of my previous review. It's like I never reviewed the article. It's like this for every article: apps, music, movies or TV Shows ...
Of course I don't find my review if I search for it manually.

Control+E no longer takes you to the search engine bar :(. otherwise #4 is great!!

In the past, we could use control+E to activate the search engine toolbar. Do you plan to bring that back?

Message choice length

Hi,
I have text whose length is around 80 characters to be displayed in a message choice.
In the UI the message choice length is coming as the length of the max character length init.
1) can we have a horizontal scroll bar inside the message choice, so that I can display 20 characters and user can scroll to see the rest...
or
2) can i be the message choice editable i.e. the user can select the value and then put his cursor and use arrow key to move till the last character to see the complete text in it?

I have written the code but the issue i Am facing is when i select a value from the first Mesage Choice , processFormRequest Method is not called.If I click on any lob in the page , then only processFormRequest() is called and value is populated in the second drop down.
So I need to call processFormRequest() after a value is selected in Message Choice..

Hi, all, I have a problem with message choice because when I get the value it returns the value of index row.
For example I have this message choice:

where DeptLOV is a LOV List type binding, and DeptList is a Range type binding that is based upon the Dept iterator. If one of these three does not exist in your project yet, you should create them manually via the Structure palette.

IBase warranty changes take effect???? Urgent..

But in order to see the change in the Plus you will have to re-login to Plus.
This is since the workbook is saved to memory of the user's PC.
how and where can I make control for one user to access some workbooks and another user to access some other workbooks both on desktop and plus? (workbook accessibility control)Only the owner of the workbook can do that.
This is done in the desktop as well as in Plus.
In desktop go to the tool bar "File -> Manage Workbooks -> Sharing" then choose the workbook and share it with whom ever you like.
In Plus you can find it in the tool bar "File -> Manage Workbooks" then click on any of the reports and select the "Share" from the right.
You have to make sure that the shared user have access to the BA that the workbook is based on, and that the user have the privilege to use the desktop/Plus (this is done in the Administrator tool)

RDS Gateway - Why are RAP changes requiring reboot to take effect?

I have Win2k8R2 with RDS Gateway. I am using AD groups in a RAP to define which network resources can be accessed by users. For the most part, it's working as expected, but I am finding that changes to the AD group (e.g. remove a server) are not taking effect
immediately. Users are still able to establish a new connection to a server that has been removed from the AD group. If I reboot the RDS GW, the change seems to take effect, and the users can no longer access the removed server.
While I haven't tested it extensively yet, the change may also take effect after a period of time, without requiring a reboot ... but this doesn't help me either. I need to have such changes take immediate effect.
I've searched the web without luck, this is an awkward topic to get meaningful results on. Can someone tell me definitively when changes to AD groups take effect in the RAP ... and how I can force it to take immediate effect (without a reboot)?

Yes I tried that suggestion, but it made no difference. I don't believe it has anything to do with the Domain Users group, because the problem does resolve itself - after a reboot (without having to change any group membership).
I've just confirmed this situation again yesterday ... on 2 occasions I made changes to AD group memberships that are referenced in RAPs. I added a user to the group to enable them access. Both times I waited at least 5 minutes after making
the changes, but the users still couldn't connect. I ensured all domain controllers had the AD group changes replicated ... users still couldn't connect. I rebooted the RDGW server (I am using a single server, not RD Session Host farm), and that immediately
fixed it. So the problem is still present. It feels as if RDGS is caching AD group membership.
