Personnel number in Ad Hoc query

Hi,
The personnel number in the Ad Hoc query is not coming up. I mean the field is selected for Output but 000000 is seen for al employees. Can anyone please guide as to what needs to be done in order for the Personnel number to show.

I have created a query(in Adhoc query), I have selected Personnel number from KEY FIELDS but in the output it is displaying employee full name instead of Personnel number and I don't see any other Personnel number option to select in any one of these infotypes 0000,0001 and 0002.
Please give me response.

while creating a query through transaction S_ph0_48000510 I select for display the field "Personnel Number". However while running the query , in the results part , under the field "Personnel Number" , instead of the personnel number , the employee name is displayed.
How can it be ?

Ad hoc query without personnel no

In Ad hoc query t.code S_PH0_48000510 ,infoset(/SAPQUERY/HR_ADM) when I select personnel no & issue output, system is displaying personnel name instead of personnel no. Is there any changes need to be done or is it a system bug ECC6.

Defining ad hoc query you can select personnel number as output field by right clicking on "Personnel number" in "Key fields" group. In the context menu you can find "Output" and three possibilities:
1. Only text - which is default and means an employee's name,
2. Only value - which means personnel number,
3. Value and text - in this case two columns are displayed: personnel number and the employee's name.

Query on personnel number

Dear Experts,
I want the internal Personnel Number to be generated after the Personal Data information i.e IT0002. Is that feasible?
Right now the number is generated after the action screen is executed then we fill the IT 0001, 0002.

Hi Ashwani,
I don't think that would be possible.
In table T529A it is impossible for a combination of function code Initial hiring and "Update 0000" checkbox unclicked.
Thus, you at least need the first screen 0000.
When you update the entries in this screen and pass to the next screen, the system needs to store the values entered into the database tables. However, without a key (personnel number in this case) this store procedure is impossible.
Thus, technically speaking, I don't think there is a way of achieving what you require.

Out put problem in Ad hoc query reports

Hi Gurus,
I am tryting to generate a report through Ad hoc query in S_PH0_48000510 - Ad Hoc Query SAP/Query/HR_ADM - > Selected several options like personnel number / employee name / entry date / leaving date.
But when we select it shows the input details but when i try for output the entry date / leaving date even the names of the employees are not reflecting.
But the age/date of birth other fields are coming in output.
Kindly let me know the solution to get a out put. If there is any changes need to be done in the back end. Pls advice with the path details.

Expand the Ad-Hoc Query

Dear all,
Can anyone tell me the steps in detail on how to add extra infotypes (which is not in the standard selection area, of course) in the ad-hoc query selection area? In my case, I need to search an employee's personnel number by alternative name in local characters (IT0182) of the employee.

Hi Steven,
While creating Adhoc query choose Logical databse instead of a database table.
then you get a pop up to select the Infotypes. there you can select the multiple info types.

Ad Hoc Query - While executing - System could not read any data

Hello Techies,
When I am excuting my Ad hoc query - for one personnel number for which Infotype 28 subtype 0001 has been maintained
But system is throwing this error -
System could not read any data
Message no. AQ_AD_HOC226
Diagnosis
There is no data available for the specified selections.
System response
The results list in the lower part of the screen still displays the last list to be created.
Please let me know why does it happening ?

I have Ad hoc query and in the selection screen I have field(select option) for language , what I am trying to do is to make a login language as default value for language field ,I tried throw SQ01 the only thing I could do is to add fixed value (for example 'EN') but need it to be login language.
Its seems to be the only way is to write code But I donu2019t know how?

[TEM/Ad hoc Query] Showing Invalid Relationships in Ad Hoc Query

Hi Experts,
In our system, during internal transfers Persons, a new Personnel number is created for him/her. The old Personnel Number was delimited (Termination Action) and is stored in an Infotype as an Inactive Personnel number of that person.
We are planning to copy an Inactive Personnel number's past A025 Relationships (Business Event is attended by) to its Active Personnel Number. So that the Active Personnel will keep the record of the Complete History of trainings taken by the employee.
The problem is that in Ad Hoc Query. The copied A025 Relationships of the Active Personnel Number is not shown since it is not a valid relationship. (The validity period of the A025 relationships that was copied from the Inactive PERNR, is outside the validity period of the Active Personnel Number.)
Is there a way to make Ad Hoc Query recognize these invalid relationshps?

Modifying the Ad-hoc Query Infoset : problem with P9105 fields.

Hi all,
Am having problem with Infoset of Ad-hoc Query .
i need to add the Critical role Field Group to ZHR_PA_01 Infoset of Satandard Area.
for this i have imported that Infotype 9105 and included the following standard fields by drag and drop.
                1. Role Category
                2. Role SubCategory
                3. Global Identifier
                4. Personnel Number
and then Saved and Generated the infoset succesfully.(No syntax errors)
But
While testing, using the T-Code: S_PH0_48000510
if i select one of these above fields for the report,
Am getting the message that "Error when generating the report".
Error Description:The report cannot be generated because the internal description is invalid or incomplete.
means what may be the problem.?
if i select other fields its working fine.
can any body explain me clearly..??

yes, i have saved the T-code.and generated the Infoset Succesfully.
and its showing the those additional fields while testing.
for remaining fields its working fine.
but am not getting wats problem with the four fields of P9105 infotype.

Questions in Ad Hoc Query & How to Configure the EEO standard reports

Hi all,
I have a question in Ad hoc query report in HR.
How to: Get a list of the total number of employees included in a particular report at the end of the report. Ex: If i create and run a report for salaried employees, sorted out by company codes, how can i get a sub-total and total no. of employees listed in the report.
I tried Ranked format, but when you print the report it doesn't retain the report name on the top.
-->I have a question regarding the Standard reports for EEO and AAP
 How do I
1. Start configuring these report
2. What are the things i should have before configuring it in IMG
If anyone can provide me with some documentation regarding the EEO and AAP report configuration that would be great.

This can be done using the security for the Infoprovider, provide the users access to create queries only for that Infoprovider.

How to add an Infotype to an exsting Infoset (ad hoc query)

Hi,
How to add an Infotype (Ex. 0025) to an exsting Infoset (ad hoc query)?
I was trying by clicking on 'Extras' tab & create...I get three options, create field, create table or create structure.
I am not sure which to use or is there any other way? Pls. let me know the steps...
Also what is this 'Package', which is aked whenever you create or change an Infoset.
Pls. suggest.

I was able to add the infotype by adding the table as PA0025 & include all the fields in the field group.
When I check, I get the following error:

Selection screen validation in HR ad hoc query

Hi Experts,
I have created a query in SQ01. My infoset is created using Logical database PNPCE. Selection criteria contains Fields Personnel Number and Employment status. so when the query will be run, I want to display error message if invalid personnel number or Employment status is entered. Please let me know, How do I achieve it.

After declaring selection screen fields.
select the field to handle validation and click on the button 'Check coding for
Element' .
you will get a block to handle the validation.
