Petition : add the ability to read lyrics from tag to ZEN Vision M

Hello everybody !
I saw it's possible to propose new features for MP3 players fw. So i think it could be a good idea to make the ZEN Vision M able to display (via the menu, after set bookmark) the song lyrics written in its tags. Hope it'll interst you too !

I think that would be an excellent addition, as my daughter is a singer and uses mp3 files to learn new songs and is always looking online for lyrics. Having them on the player itself would be very convenient.

Thanks for reply. I am not an expert on these sharing protocols but I think I have turned on SMB sharing but still wont connect. I tried adding netwrik drive by using cntrl K in finder and using smb\\network address but nothing. It is driving me mad!!

Thank you for your recommendation. I understand the challenges of managing large numbers of files on the My Files page. I also understand the need to preserve project files.
Perhaps a compromise would be to create an Archive tab under My Files. Previous versions and retired project files could then be automatically moved into this holding area when a new version is published, thus preserving the files in a separate area that is still accessible to the author.
I will submit this suggestion to our product management team to consider as a future enhancement.

CS6 has search capabilities in the Layers panel. You can search by layer type, name, Layer Effect, Blend Mode, Layer Atribute (i.e. whether a layer is visible or not) and by Assigned Layer colors)

I created a new itunes, but when i add the music i added it from my external hard drive by accident, so when i disconnect it and wish to play music without having it connected, obviously it asks me to located my songs, i dont want to locate each song help

Today I was looking into an error with several IMAP accounts in Apple Mail:
+The attempt to read data from the server "<<servername.tld>>" failed.+
At first I thought this was an Apple Mail problem, as the accounts in question seemed to work just fine when not used in combination. One possible answer to this problem is rather short:
Apple Mail uses IMAP caching, which uses more than 4 connections at the same time to the mail server. Some mail servers (like courier-imap in its default configuration) do not allow that much connections from the same IP address. The more accounts you are trying to connect to at the same time raises this number of connections. Meaning while you could probably check one account for new mails, the second will ultimately fail for no obvious reasons. The only solution to this problem is to raise the connections allowed by your IMAP server software. this solution only applies to people who have root access to their mail server.
in courier-imap you have to edit /etc/courier-imap/imapd
and change MAXPERIP=4 to a higher number (5 to 10 times the number of accounts you want to check simultaneously)
and change MAXDAEMONS=40 to a higher number (with only one user 200 might work, whereas if you serve multiple users, something like 500 or higher might be better suited).
of course increasing the numbers increases load on your server. this is why there are these restrictions in place.

MY SOLUTION REPOSTED FROM ANOTHER THREAD:
I've just solved a similar issue.
I have a dedicated server running Plesk 9.5 and when I upgraded to iLife 11 and Snow Leopard this error appeared. I could quickly click "get mail" and I'd get all my mail, but only 3-4 of my 9 mail accounts would connect. Theo others would have the error:
"The server error encountered was: The attempt to read data from the server..."
I found solutions for those using IMAP mail:
modify the /etc/courier-imap/imapd configuration file and change MAXDAEMONS from 40 to 80 and MAXPERIP from 4 to 40. This allows all the machines behind my home firewall to connect to multiple accounts on the e-mail server with mailbox caching enabled.
I'd made this change on my server but it didn't seem to have any effect. It dawned on me that I'm using POP, not IMAP. So I found in /etc/courier-imap/pop3d the same settings. I changed the MAXDAEMONS from 40 to 80 and MAXPERIP from 4 to 40 and voila, all my connections concurrently worked.
This has taken me more than two days to fix and I hope posting this helps someone else with the same issue.

Server error: "The attempt to read data from the server '(null)' failed"

Multiple times during each day my client (Mail.app) puts up a little exclamation mark "!" next to the mail account hosted on our Leopard Server. Clicking on this little alert icon pops up a message that reads:
+There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “Leopard Server Account” or try again.+
+The server returned the error: The attempt to read data from the server “(null)” failed.+
I can make the "!" go away by choosing Mailbox>Synchronize>Leopard Server Account. And everything seems peachy but it inevitably pops up again in another hour or two. It's annoying because I'm not sure if mail is getting through or not when the "!" is up.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Reading Lyrics from the iPod....?

Is there anybody who knows how to make use of the storage of song lyrics in the iPod? I'm using now the widget "Sing that iTune", which is able to display lyrics within the widget, but also stores it as a .txt file in a separate folder, called 'Sing that iTune". I understand from previous posts and discusssions that it is possible to import them as notes. Is there anybody who has been able to script tihs syncing of notes folders?
Second, when I was updating my iPod I saw that all the songs that include lyrics (besides storing the lyrics in the separate folder it can also automatically update the lyrics panel of the songs info!) were also automatically updated to my iPod. This means that the info of the txt file is also somewhere sitting in my iPod...!! It would be fantastic if Apple would exploid that possibility to also allow displaying lyrics instead of for example art-work during playback. I'm not a programmer, but I suppose that it should well be possible to include such option in a next software update..... Or are there any third party utilities that do the trick? Any ideas appreciated!

Coming back to my previous question: I've now been experimenting with 'Sing that iTune' a bit more, and to my big surpise one is able to start up a song by clicking the note that contains the lyrics! I do not know if this is different or similar to the iPod Nano Lyrics feature where one talks about, but it is at least something.
HOWEVER: one problem remains! The iPod can only load 1000 notes!? The rest are copied to the iPod, but remain unvisible?! Does anyone know a work around?

I totally agree. I have submitted it as an idea for a feature request here: Rename child layers (e.g: Rectangle to banner_fill or whatever!)
Do vote for it and mention it to others who use Muse and get them to vote, even if it is a down vote as would be good to get a better idea of where this lies in terms of user "want", for us and the Muse team.

In the past I was able to charge my iPhone or iPod while enjoying my music located on either device via the built in speakers on my macbook pro. After i did my upgrade of itunes, I lost that functionality as well as the ability to easily drag and drop music to, or delete from, my iphone/ ipod.
I have so far discovered that if I want to delete from my iphone I can swipe right and delete, nice to have that on the phone, but could I please get it back at my laptop.
I don't keep my music library on my laptop due to limited space, nor do I always have my external connected due to limited usb ports.
please bring this back.
