PF calculation for that particular month

Hi all
An employee PF is deducted on basic.
If an employee worked for u201Cxu201D company up to mid of the month say up to15th date (ex: 10.01.2005 joining date and 15.04.2008 is leaving from the company)
And now he joined u201Cyu201D company on 16.04.2008 and has been working for that company up to 31.12.9999 (our sap hr terminology).
My question is employee has to pay PF in both companies in that particular month April?

Need to display records only once for that particular group

I have a requirement like displaying repeated records only once for that particular group.
For eg, in the emp table, I need to display repeated deptno only once for the particular group of job.
And for the above requirement I have used the below query,
SELECT empno, DECODE (LAG (job, 1) OVER (ORDER BY job), job, NULL, job),
DECODE (LAG (deptno, 1) OVER (ORDER BY deptno), deptno, NULL, deptno)
FROM emp;
Output:
EMPNO     JOB     DEPTNO
7782          10
7934     CLERK
7839     PRESIDENT
7876          20
7788
7902     ANALYST
7566     MANAGER

But in the above output you can find that, say deptno 10 is getting displayed only once, whereas I want that deptno 10 to be checked whether it is getting repeated within the group of JOB and than hide the deptno 10 only if it is repeated within that job group. If not, deptno 10 should be displayed again.
Please help me in this.

Hi,
What will be the source of such exchange rates in your scenario? If you want to take it from the standard tables in SAP, you can load the data from such tables to the master and then can create the report on master.
On the other hand, if you want to take it from internet, you can get the data into BI from Internet using RDA (Real Time Data Acquisition) (which can be implemented in 2004s only).
I think first option would be simpler to implement.

Why the Wi-Fi signal on my i-Pod Touch 2nd generation fluctuates? I have uopaded it to the newest version of OS for that particular model and the signal meter shows fluctuation all the way down to one dot. With the older OS (2.2.1) I didn't have any issue

I have replaced my router from Verizon "Westel 8500" to Apple Air Extreme. Also changed my network provider from Frontier DSL to Comcast (TV Cable) and the issue with fluctuation seams to get a little worst than before. Currently I'm running the newest OS allowed for that particular model. With the older version (2.2.1) I did not have any Wi- Fi fluctuation. My connection is not dropping just the signal, according to the Wi-Fi meter is getting weaker. Please help.

Paste the results here.
Step 2:
Now Open console->system.log. Clear the display and Insert Marker.
Command 2: ( In Terminal)
'sudo /usr/libexec/airportd -d '
Now reproduce the wireless issue you see and monitor the system log in Console.
Wait for a few minutes so you see this issue happening.
Then, Turn AirPort off and on a couple times to see if this issue still happens.
Copy paste the system.log here.
Step 3:
Next, when you see this issue happening, hold the option key down and click on the AirPort menu icon and get the RSSI and Transmit rate details and post them here.
Misc things to check:
Make sure your AP settings are good. Stick to standard 11g/11a modes and disable any enhanced modes if your Access Point supports it.
Real Player check- Do you by any chance have Real Player running ? It installs a Download Agent in your Login Items and that is known to create havoc. Try uninstalling this app. if you have it. Also make sure there is no instance of Real Player here -- System Prefereces-Accounts- Login Items.

Macro calculation to change for one particular month of year.

I have a query for change in macro. WE have a macro to calculate Target inventory which has same calculation for all through future months for 18 months. Now my user wants to change this all future months calculation would be same except for September every year. Now What function do I use in condition for calculation to check if month is September than do a different calculation.

As u need to exclude the spetemner month you need to add the code in of clause.
If
new condition
Month(row) = 9
result row
else
result row.
Inthe result row u can do ur calcualtions...
You can do this in a new step for the exception you want to maintain.Hope this will help you.

Run time error in report for a particular month : " TIME_OUT"

hi frends, we have developed a report for PM module in SAP. it is a monthy report. and user have to enter the month for which he wants to see the report. we are facing runtime error for a particular oct. and nov month of 2009 only , all other months are working fine. The error is :
The program "ZPMR_EQUP_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" has exceeded the maximum permitted
runtime without
interruption and has therefore been terminated.
what could be the reason.

By seeing the run time error "TIME_OUT", I suspect this is due to Performance issue.
There is a chance that they had huge data dump into PM server from other servers and there is also chance that
They have many records available for these 2 months.
IN any case, please chk with Run time analysis (SE30) by executing your program...
If it displays the graph more than 30 % for Database then it is an issue with the Performance.
Also chk with SQL trace.....
Second case :
Check you had not used Nested Loops, Select queries in Loop.
Make sure you use Binary search for Read Statements....
Third : Chk with the runtime error at which place of the code it is throwing Time_out error at Source code extract.
To help you further, please paste your code here and also paste the Run time error that you receive with the select queries.

USE LIKE keyword in where condition of your select query...
However its better to provide the month and year both form the selection screen because there can be many years data in the table which r having same month ...
eg .. 02 then it will give Feb months data for all years say 2004 2005 .... 2008 ...
