SAP SFTP- PIB2BSFTP - multiple folders in sender

Hello,
We are in need of using multiple folders option in sender SAP SFTP adapter.Our existing SAP SFTP patch does not have multiple folders.To what patch or version of PIB2BSFTP we need to update to get multiple folders option? I read in SCN that SAP already released patch to get multiple folders option in sender SAP SFTP adapter
Below are few details about out PI 7.30.

We installed B2B add on to get SFTP and PGP adapters for SAP PI 7.30.
our PIB2BSFTP version as seen in NWA is 1000.1.00.2.3 20131126032500.

You just need to deploy the latest sca and import the new ESR content. It is still part of the security add on ( No additional licence)

When u install SeeburgerBIC mapper on ur machine, the below location will contain all the required manuals..

Sales force integration using advantco adapters

Hi,
We are implementing Sales force.
To integrate sales force with SAP PI, we are evaluating Advantco SFDC &REST adapter.
Please let me know is there any issues/challenges ,we will face if we use these adapters.
Also is there any other adapter we can use to integrate with sales force.

Hi Surya,
As per my knowledge, REST adapter needs session management for salesforce integration which is quite challenging compared to SFDC adapter. Additionally SFDC will support BULK and streaming API's (push notification) also. You can use REST adapter for other systems as well, it support json protocol (light weight). FTP Adapters with same filename

Hi All,
I am trying to download a file using FTP Adapters. It is working but I wanted the filename to remain unchanged. I have gone through the tutorial and read the posts in the forum but I still couldn't hack it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Receiver AS2 Advantco Adapter Content type change

Hi All,
I am working on SFTP to As2(Advantco) scenario. We are sending the txt files to target.
As of now file is sent with content type application/xml. But target system is asking to change it to "application/octet-stream"
In the AS2 adapter guide, there is section 3.4.4.8. MIME Settings which talks about content type change.
Unfortunately i am not seeing that in the receiver channel.
does anyone know how to change the content type for AS2 channel?
Will standard adapter module work on third party adapter? like messageTransformBean

Using PI to support multiple formats and Adapters

Hi All,
We are planning to start using PI as our Enterprise middleware system. In order to achive the full functionality of an Enterprise middleware we are looking at adding capabilities to PI to support
1. Formats like : EDIFACT / ANSI , HL7, ebXML
2. Having Conversion Agents : PDF.
3. Connectivity Options : AS2, OFTP, SFTP.
Can someone point me to how they have attained the enterprise wide function for PI. We have started reaching out to vendors for each of these options. It would be helpful if someone can also inform on the challenges and issues they faced using PI with tehse additional tools.

1. Formats like : EDIFACT / ANSI , HL7, ebXML
The SAP standard doesn't offer specific functionality for EDIFACT, ANSI X.12 etc conversion. In principal, you can have three solution for this - Custom-built EDI development based on PI standard functionality, add-on solutions from third party vendors or open source / community-driven solutions.
Conversion Agent is the best tool to handle this situation and it works pretty good.
2. Having Conversion Agents : PDF.
For handling PDF files, you don't require Conversion Agent.
3. Connectivity Options : AS2, OFTP, SFTP.
The 3rd party adapters are available and are widely used in PI centric architecture. Few prominent ones includes adapters from Seeburger and AEDAPTIVe.
Only issue and challenge in working with 3rd party tools is extra $$$ spending.

I am unable to send the PGP encrypted file from PI to the receiver. where the Clients sends the file using PGP encryption,
But i am trying to send the same with PI. But i am not able to send the same can you please help me out to get the same incorporated using PI 7.1
and sends to the receiver ( the rceiver would be FTP ).

Hi,
That is depending on your requirement, if requirement with EDI better to choose Seeburger else choose other one. Both are working fine performance wise.
SeeBurger have many EDI specific functionality like Splitter , Functional Acknowledgment , Auto mapping etc. So if you have EDI in your project SeeBurger would be winner. Else you can choose other adapter based on other factor.
Advantco SFTP adapter allow for different encryption algorithms such as triple DES, Blowfish.

PGP Decryption

Hi Everyone,
I neeed to decrypt the file and then process it in SAP XI. I found 4 methods by which we can do it.
Can anyone explain me how to implement any of them ?
1)PGP encryption at OS level - As per other threads,I need to install some software and run command. Which software i ned to install ? is it free ? any blog on that ?
2) PGP encryption using Module - What should i write in code ? Any sample module for PGP?

Is there a way to identify if a file is PGP encrypted or not by looking at the contents of the file? For example, a ZIP file can be identified by verifying if the first two chracters start with "PK".

Direction on safe power adapters for iPods from US to Travel in France

Hello, I searched other topics found the Apple power adapter plug for the ipod discussesd this topic (which I do already have), but it did not SPECIFICALLY say that it will convert from US (110v) to Euro - France (220) volt. All the instructions from available power adapters (non-Apple) specifically say 'not for use with stereo or musical equipment.'
Help ! Can I just plug in my Apple ipod power adapter INTO a standard 110v to 220v converter and not worry about problems? Do I need to look for a special voltage adapter that works between certain amps or voltage ranges?
Best Buy, Radio Shack, Travel Smith and Sharper Image were NO help.
Looking not to fry my 60GB video ipod during a month long trip to Europe..
