Phantom Assembly Reporting Point Backflush - Not able to backflush

We are unable to generate a backflush of the assembly components of a phantom assembly. The backflush indicator in the operation have been activated and the components involved are production relevant.
In the material master, i believe the REM Profile has been set correctly to allow for backflushing of the asseblies.
Am I overlooking something to have this work properly?
Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Dear suntevea,
Generally Production confirmation is not made for phantom assemblies either in Discrete or REM scenario.
So once when you do the confirmation for the upper level assembly where this phantom assembly is used
as a component,then at this point the good's issue(backflush) will be happening for the component's of the
phantom assembly.
Eg : Material A is a phantom assembly which is made up of components say B & C.
Again material A is a component for making another assembly say X,so when you do the backflushing in
MFBF for material X,you can see the components B & C are getting issued,which means Good's issue will
be happening for B & C,261 movement.
I hope you will be clear with the concept.

Report Designer: Text not able dispaly in the report

Hi,
Am using Report Designer with the variable 0FISPER,when user select the period like Period 12 2007 then in the Report it should Display as December 2007(as Header).I tried maintained Text to that variable and also maintained text in the SPRO for the table t009c.Here when i maintain text in the table(t009c) in the variable i can see only jan, feb,...........Dec when i select in the pop up window say Jan in the report it display only Jan but not the year.
We are in SP15

It sounds like that your Web CGI did not configure right. To test if your CGI configuration is correct, type:
http://hostname:port/cgi-bin/rwcgi60exe?
If you get a help screen, then you should be able to bring up your report.

Report 6i/Webdb -Not able to display the report in the browser - rep- 3002 error.

Would someone tell what I missed, I have set up the following:
1) a report using report builder on NT
2) my database is in Unix
3) my report server is started in NT
4) I run webdb listener for the following code: http://myweb.com/cgi/rwcgi60.exe?server=repserver+report=myreport+userid=usid/pw/connect_string+destype=cache+desformat=html. Then, I receive this message:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job has terminated with error.
Reports Server Replies:
REP-3002: Error initializing printer. Please make sure a printer is installed.
Why is it thinking I want to use the printer whereas I want to display the report in the browser?. Any help would be appreciated.

DataSource at Report Server is not able to connect another server

Hi All,
I am having two servers on different Domain; One where my default SQL 2012 database Instance is present (say: Server 1), and another server where Report Server 2012 is installed (say Server 2).
From Management Studio, I am able to connect database server 1 from server 2. Even I am able to Ping server 1 from server 2.
But when I am creating Data Source at Report Server (Server 2), to connect Database Server (Server 1), I am getting below error:
"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
(provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"
I using below connection string in Data Source:
Data Source=SERVER1;Initial Catalog=msdb
Below are the additional information:
Server Instance Protocols on Server 1: Named Pipe, TCP/IP and Shared Memory are Enabled
SQL Services on Server 1: SQL Server, SQL Browser are running
Please help me on this.

Are you really connecting to the msdb database in your connection string? What is the user you are connecting to the database as when you are in Management Studio? Is it an SQL user or a Windows user? Maybe whatever credentials you are
using in your datasource does not have access to the sql server?
And is it Server 1 or Server1? or is that just an example server name. I agree with trying the ip address but make sure you are using the same credentials as you do in Management Studio

Reporting services instance not able to connect from SSMS

I have installed SQL SERVER 2012 on Windows 8.1. I configured report server in native mode.
* Reporting services is in started state
  * SQl server service is in started state
  * Sql serevr agent is in started state
  * SQL browser is in started state
When i tried to connect Report server instance using SSMS i got the below error.

Cannot connect to .

Though i am the administrator
And when i connect using below URL http://localhost/reports
I get Unable to connect to the remote server

According to your description, you are administrator, when you tried to connect reporting services from SSMS, the error message occurred. When you tried to access report manager with the URL:
http://localhost/reportserver, you were prompted that the permissions granted to user '' are insufficient for performing this operation.
The Reporting Services error rsAccessedDenied occurs when a user does not have permission to perform an action. To troubleshooting this issue, please make sure that you have sufficient permission and the report server name is correct. You can use the reportserver
URL, e.g. HTTP ://<servername>/ReportServer, to log on the reporting service in SSMS.
In addition, by default, we could not access all of the report server properties available in SQL Server Management Studio unless we start Management Studio with administrative privileges. To configure Reporting Services role properties and role assignments
so you do not need to start Management Studio with elevated permissions each time, please refer to the following document:
From the Start menu, click All Programs, click SQL Server 2012, right-click Management Studio, and then click Run as administrator.
Connect to your local Reporting Services server.
In the Security node, click System Roles.

The issue may be caused by the UAC or Internet Explorer security setting, please try to follow this steps:

Manual reorder point planning not able to create

Dear all,
I am maintaining manual reorder point planning for one raw material with MRP type VB and also maintained reorder point level . For other two raw materials i am maintaining MRP type as PD my issue is
when ever i run MRP for FG material purchase requisition is not generating for the material with MRP type VB even though stock is less than Reorder point. For other two raw materials purchase requisitions are generated
Pls give me solutions for generating the purchase requisitions for the raw material with MRP type VB.

Not able to see the data in the report

Hi All
      In my cube i am having data.But when i am running the report ,i am not able to see the data.
    The error its throwing is -No Applicable data found.
    what could be the problem,please provide me the idea to solve the problem.

Planned order is not creating for a phantom assembly

Dear experts
My fert having two semi finished components
first semifinished is assigned with a raw material
And second semifinished is assigned with two different raw material
in material master of second semifinished mrp2 view Special procurement=50
and after running mrp, second semifinished is not getting any planned order or dep requirement all the raw material under this getting planned order
But in my understanding of phantom second semifinished in should not get any planned order?
Am i correct?
Pls advise me where i need to check

Hi,
Phantom assembly will generate planned order for its component when you will maintain:
Procurement type: E
Special procurement type: 50
Also in SPRO: OPPQ BOM explosion
Also check in BOM In basic data tab
In MRP Data screen, check explosion type- are you maintained phantom assembly off? Check it if you want planned order.
If you don't want system generated planned order for your phantom assembly component you should not maintain this indicator.

Resetting of reporting points

Dear Gurus,
I am facing problem in resetting of reporting points .
We have created product cost collector with production version but at that time REM allowed indicator is not ticked and control key is with out milestone confirmation
Transaction are done with reporting point 10 & reporting point 20 i have checked in table S028 & CEZP,CPZP all entries are available but in Tcode MF12 all entries are not available
we iam try set reporting points in MF4R The production version is not available for this i have ticked REM allowed indicator & Mile stone confirmation in control key it shows in MF4R But both the reporting points with O quantity.
As per S028 table my quantity differs in Reporting point 10 & 20
i have backflush some qty for reporting points 10 & 20 but it consider NEW QTY for resetting OLD QTY.
we have upgrade from 4.6 to 6.0 two years back.
we are using Period end closing process now.
i want to reset alI WIP of old PCC to REL Scrap by using MF4R.
I Have RE set all PCC by MF4R but this is my old PCC it creates me problem in restting
There is any way to reduce WIP to zero in old PCC Cost collectors with out resetting reporting points
Already we run report KKAO
I have checked all below notes
SAP Note 756186 - RM402 No reporting points when creating
production version - available
MFBF: Reporting point backflush
terminates with error RM111
Any program, Any note for to reset WIP TO zero

Reporting points - REM

Hai PP Experts!!
I created reporting points in rate routing by assiging the control key with milestone confirmation.But in the MFBF screen during reporting point selection system shows error "reporting points are not maintained in PCC" . I also maintained suitable REM Profile (ie., i activated RP in the profile)
So pls throw some light on creation of reporting points, required customization and sequence of steps....

Dear Mr.Ganesh raja,
Check in customizing-Control data for REM profile under control data 1,whether GI backflush at GR posting,if it's so deselect that and select RP backflush,then only the system allows you to use RP backflush.
You have to assign the same REM profile for the material which you want to use RP backflush.
And also in MFBF,plz include a tick mark in RP backflush field.

Not able to catch the exception

Hi,
I'm trying to run an ADF page (Test.jspx) . The only page content I have is an embedded BI report.
I have used a report executable in my page definition.
A sample code snippet is:

Here TMBIPresentationServerConn is the name of the connection of the BI Server.
If BI Server is down, on running my page , an exception is being thrown by the framework.
I want to catch this exception and perform my own logic, but since i am using a binding context for report , i am not able to catch this exception.
Could you please let me know how can i catch the exception if BI is down?

PCA document not able to display in tc: 9KEK

Hi,
I have posted some entries in PCA via allocation and also adjustment entries.
I am able to see these entries in GLPCA table and also in standard line item report: KE5Z but not able see the document in PCA document display transaction 9KE9, I have selected the layout, doc number, document type.
Any help on this.

If you assign the profit center in the document or it will be posted dummy profit center automatically,based on cost objects assignment to the profit center.kinldy check once again in the profit center master data.If you posted the document pertaining to the profit center, it shows in the report KE5Z.
Please check in the master data and document.

Iam unable to update organizational units, positions through lsmw in an infotype 0001 if i do manually it is updating in 1infotype.

Still i checked personnel number in organizational assignment infotype and executed but it is displaying No batch input folder created . Yes we didnt create any batch input for personnel numbers we created batch input for positions and org units.
I believe we need to run first two records
After running above reports i checked in an organizational assignment Infotype . Still data is not updating what would be the cause please let me know

Phantom assembly BOM

Hi All,
My client has the following setup:
They have a BOM for the Finished product (Sub Contract BOM) but one item is a phantom assembly which has it's own BOM.
In there current system they only use BOM usage 1 for production. In the upgrade system we use production and sub con BOM usage.
Any recommendation as to what usage to use for the phantom BOM?

Hi Stuart,
It's usage should be production, as BOM item is a phantom assembly, the dependent requirements of the higher-level assembly are directly passed on to the components of the phantom assembly. The phantom assembly itself is still not taken into account.
Why do you want to use sub-con usage?

we are using the assembly backflush in the MTS REM process. we are need to do the reporting point backflush
if we tick against the RP backflush. what will be the effect in the process while confirmation.
i read the sap library . it say like

The repetitive manufacturing profile is set for the reporting point procedure. However, either no reporting points exist for the material or they are incorrect. Two common reasons for this are:
The repetitive manufacturing profile has been changed in the current session.
You have not defined any milestone operations in the routing.
When creating the product cost collector, no reporting points were created.
Procedure
Two alternative solutions are possible:
Assign a repetitive manufacturing profile with no reporting point procedure to the material in the material master record.
Recreate the reporting points by recosting the product cost collector. To do this, the following prerequisites must be met:
In the material master record, in the production version, you must enter a routing under either detailed planning (first priority) or under rate-based planning (second priority).
Milestone operations must exist in this routing. The system ususally automatically creates the reporting points from these milestones when creating a product cost collector or when creating a production version.
