Phone app (call log) stucks/hangs on z30

Hi, I'm using z30 and os is 10.2.1.3062. when I get miss call, phone app (call log) stucks. It won't work until I restart the phone. Please any one let me know how to resolve this problem.

I don't use any of those other than BlackBerry community app.
You have two alternatives. Search and see if anyone has found some problem with any of the apps, and maybe narrow it down to a likely suspect. Or else just start deleting one at a time. But focus on apps that might interact with the phone app or phone log database.
If you delete an app and problem goes away, then that's good, especially if you don't really need the app. If you add the app again and the problem returns, then you have repeated the problem and pretty much confirmed the app is the problem, at least for you. If you add the app and the problem doesn't return, then maybe it was a corrupt bit of app data or a setting that was cleared, and perhaps it will happen again.

    Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

  • How to end a call when not in the phone app?

    OS: 10.2.1
    I like to multitask when on a call so after taking a call I might be inside another app or in the hub, basically anywhere except the phone app. 
    My trouble is.. how can I quickly end a call when I'm done?  
    Swiping up to exit the app I'm in, then pressing the button on the lower left to enter the phone app, then pressing the hang up button sometimes takes up to 5 seconds dependong on the speed of the phone at the time.  Those five seconds of silence at the end of a call can be a little awkward. 
    Any faster way to just hang up a call when NOT in the Phone app?

    You should see the phone icon on the bottom left with the call counter on it. Simply touch that to bring the phone app backup quickly and then hang up.

  • Re iPhone outgoing calls log

    The iPhone usage (under settings) only shows all calls incoming & outgoing. Has anyone found an app that will show more call logs. I need to be able to add up all out going minutes with out waiting for my phone account or going into phone account on the internet. Other cell phones have call logs that do this.

    Thanks but I live in NZ and when I go to settings it only has useage - We don't have At & T. If I go to settings, phone it doesn;lt have anywhere either. The closest I have is to go to settings, general, useage, but that is all calls in and out. Any more ideas? Can anyone else help? I was hooping there might be an app.

    Phone application = Call Log screen, all the same.
    The Phone app really has the simplest and most obvious shortcut of all--press the GREEN dial key one time. That is the phone app.

  • Does not display contents of the "Recents" tab in Phone app.

    I've been having trouble recently with the tab in the Phone app called "Recents". In this tab, phone calls made and received should be listed according to date, but NO call, received or called is listed in this tab, what could be the cause of this?
    However, I can see missed calls on the lock-screen.
    I've tried resetting the phone, but it doesn't help. And updating the phone to the newest OS 4.2.1 didn't do the trick either.

    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Rebuild the thumbnails.

  • S40 call log complaint

    Has anyone noticed that with recent S40 phones (eg 6600 slide, 6700), in the call log, when you have called / recieved a call from the same contact multiple times, you can only see the date/time/duration of the MOST RECENT event? In previous phones (eg 6300), you were able to see the date, time & duration of the last 5 (I think) events from that one contact. Annoying much?
    This should be changed, sometimes you need to know previous dates/time and call durations of people you have spoken to or tried to call!!

  • OUTGOING CALL LOG

    HOW DO U FIND UR OUTGOING CALL LOG ON VERIZON.COM, IM TRYING TO LOOK AT MY HOME PHONE OUTGOING CALL LOG

    I've been nagging Verizon on this one alot.  If you have one of the international long distance plans, you get 300 or 500 minutes of international long distance, then any time over this allotment is billed by the minute.  The problem is that you have NO WAY of knowing how many minutes you have used, until the bill comes at the end of the month.
    I've had customer support say:
    - You need to track the time yourself - we suggest a stop watch.
    - I get several calls a month about this , but we don't have an answer.
    - We are trying to resolve this issue.
    - You don't need to know how many minutes you used. (They indirectly imply this)
    - We can see how many minutes you used, but can only tell you to resolve a fraud alert issue regarding unusual long distance activity.    (This bugs me as much as suggesting I use a stop watch)
    - If you switch to the more expensive 500 minute plan, you won't have to worry as much.
    Call assistant would be the logical place to put outgoing calls, with international plan minute totals, but what do I, a customer, know.

  • Verizon - Iphone 6 plus - phone app getting hanged while doing 3 way conference call

    I am using VOLTE in IPHONE 6 Plus with IOS 8.1 and when I am trying to do 3 way conference: I called person A and then I add person B, then I see the following issues:
    I press Merge calls and calls are merged but still merge calls & Swap icon is enabled.
    When person A/B hangsup, the phone app is hanged and call is ended but it still shows that phone is ending.
    If I end the call, still the phone app is hanged and it shows it is ending.
    I cannot do any dialing in the phone when phone app is hanged and literally, I have to restart the phone only.
    Any other person cannot call me and it goes to voicemail.
    All the above issues were happening in IOS 8 and IOS 8.0.2 also. I did reset network settings too but it did not help.
    Can someone give an idea for any solution.

    Thank you so much for those details. I want to make sure that you are able to use the feature without any issues. One thing that we might want to check out is that all the people that are a part of the 3 way calling is in the Verizon 4G LTE network. This could cause some issues if they are not. Have you been able to power the device off all the way and also remove the sim card for a good 10-15 seconds? http://vz.to/1EdNNMe  Please keep us posted.

  • After iOS 8 update, recent calls are no longer appearing and a count of -1 is showing in the phone app

    After i updated to iOS8 , suddenly no call log is available in the phone app under recents.
    Yet a number in red -1 appears on top of the recents section.
    is this is a bug in the OS? how can it be solved?

    If you have not set up iCloud backup or backed up using iTunes, all data on the phone was lost once it entered recovery mode.
    Your only option is to restore it and start new.

    If you don't remember setting this option it might have been activated by your current theme. At either rate, follow this step to correct your problem; Send key > Menu key > Options > Call Logging Select "None" and hit the save. Hope this solves your problem.

  • Phone/send button no longer brings up call log

    phone/send button no longer brings up call log. I press the phone button to get to the phone, then hit button again to view call log and screen merely blinks...repeatedly.
    Post relates to: Treo 650 (Cingular)

    We have two Treo 650's in the family.
    Spouse's Treo is having the same problem, button works OK to get into Phone app but second press does not bring up the Recent Calls list.
    Spouse has never installed Datebk5 although I have it. He has problem, I do not. Still I decided to try this fix and similar fix by TakePhone developers...problem NOT resolved.
    I did try a SYSTEM RESET (not a hard or soft reset) and that worked...but in order to get wireless working again a soft reset is required. After doing the required soft reset the problem returned.
