Phone appears to be "owned" by husband, not me

Ya know where in iphone contacts is says "Me" by your name, because it is your phone? Well, a co-worker has an iphone 4; the company pays our phone bills so we never see them; however, her husband's contact in her phone says "me" - which means he "owns" the phone, correct? How did he do this without access to the account? And, what does it mean? Does he see all her work emails (that are sent to that address) and EVERYTHING?
THANKS!

    millardbrent2,
Great question! The contact listed as me will depend on the information used when setting up the phone. Did your colleague use her husbands Apple ID information to set up her device? Even though their husband information shows up under the "Me" contact he does not have access into her emails or information. He would only have access to the information sent to her if he has access to her accounts.
