Phone call log

I like to keep some phone #'s in my log but not every single one. How can I delete individual numbers from the log? It looks now like I can only clear the entire log.

You can delete the calls individually by going to the phone portion, then pressing delete on each call record.
Or you can delete them all by going to Messages > View Folder > Phone Call Logs and removing them there. Highlight the top date separator, press the menu key, then select Delete Prior. This will delete all Phone Call Logs prior to the date you have selected.

Easier way to view phone call logs? Also, help with email setup...

1. On my 8220 it's not very efficient to view past call logs and or missed calls. I have to go into my Messages folder, click the menu button, scroll down to 'view folder' and then scroll down to my 'Phone Call Logs'. Is there a way to create a folder dedicated to viewing call logs and my missed calls on my home screen without going through all that timely navigating? Is there a special download for this application? I've seen this folder on the BB 101 tutorial webpage.
I'm with Rogers Wireless if that helps.
2. When I select the Email Setup it only gives me the the option to "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBey Enterprise Server" and no option for the "I want to create or add an email address" which I see on the BB 101 tutorial webpage. Well, I'd like to create or add an email address. How can I get that option on my phone?
Oh and one more thing, is the 8220 able to run the BB maps application?

1) While in your messages folder, try pressing ALT + P to bring up the phone logs without all the navigating. (I know that works on other BB models, I don't know on the 8220).
2) Do you have a BB Data Plan on your carrier account? Once it is , you will get the personal email setup icon.

Sub-account Users and FIOS phone call logs

Verizon created FOUR separate account "Profiles" within my home for Internet and Phone Logs viewing use at the outset of their installation Two weeks ago.
One Primary acct... which Verizon designates.... and THREE other Sub-accounts. Seems ONLY the Primary account is allowed permission to View FIOS phone call logs, block numbers etc.... We changed over from COMCAST a couple of weeks ago where not Only did the Primaey account had these priveleges, but that same Primary account bestowed priveleges to all the other Secondary Sub-accounts to do the same via a check box.....don't see that here.
so I'm wondering is Verizon allowing only ONE acct ..(ie. Primary) to have this feature?

How to automatic save phone call logs

I am not able to save phone call logs as it is getting automatic deleted so plz give some suggestion to save all call logs

Phone > Recents or check your account online with your carrier.
Note, Recents is limited to 100 calls exactly. No way to change that.
You can delete recent calls you don't care about to keep the list from filling up. Swipe across the call and press the Delete button or use the Edit button, top right.

No phone call log

Anyone else have this annoying problem? The phone app doesn't display any previous calls. I've tried rebooting, fiddling with the 'hide call log' and 'display call log' settings, but I can't get the thing to work.
I used to use the call log all the time to call people back, but that was when I had a half decent phone.
Now I don't have the option, and it's really inconvenient. That, plus the camera problems and the inconsistent touchscreen, are rapidly turning me of this phone. I certainly can't recommend it to any of my friends, and I wish I hadn't bought it myself.

if you are sure even after doing "hide call log" doesn't fixed your phone problem then, you can try this
>settings -> apps -> all -> call log extension -> clear cache, if possible disable the app restart the phone and try it, if not go the same place and clear Data(which will remove all call logs) then try it is showing up or not

How to clear phone call log

Hello All,
I am a complete newbie (just got my Blackberry today) so please pardon any incorrect terminology.
My question is this:
When I click on the green phone icon a list of prior phone calls appears. How do I clear this list of prior calls?

When you click the edit button in recents, try clicking the clear button in the upper left.

Phone clears all chats and call logs

Several times a day my phone will show the hour glass and at that time the phone is not usable. Afterwards all of my BB chats, gmail chats, and phone call log is erased. Sometimes it will occur 10 times a day. How do I fix this problem

Delete all call logs

I can't find a way to delete all call logs. It only allows to delete logs for one call at a time. In SMS it allows highlighting of all messages (which is quite painful BTW) and then delete. Not so in call logs.
Seems arcane that BB does not have a menu option to "Delete all".

Go to Messages -> View Folder -> Phone Call Log. Now highlight the date bar -> click Menu -> Delete Prior.

Solved - Call Logs stopped saving

Hi all,
Is there a limit of how many calls appear in the call log? I've received calls since yesterday, but no calls appear in the call log since yesterday.
I have reset, but no more appear.
If there is a limit, I am happy to delete them, but if not, I don't want to waste them without reason.

To repair the Phone Call Logs database, please complete the following steps:
Note: All previous phone call logs will be deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone. It is recommended that you perform a backup of your BlackBerry smartphone before continuing. Please see KB18556.
Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your computer.
Make sure the BlackBerry smartphone is connected to the computer.
Click on Backup and Restore.
Click on the Advanced button.
On the right hand side under Device Databases select Phone Call Logs.
Click the Clear button.

Receiving phones calls - I need earphones!

Whenever the phone rings and I answer, the person can hear me but I can't hear them unless I put in the earphones or put it or activate speakerphone. I know that the volume buttons to the side of the phone are working as I can change the volume when I have the earphones in. Please help!

What's your default call volume set to? Check under the Phone/Call Log icon, display the menu and go into Options, then into General Options. Change the Default Call Volume to 100% and see if that helps

BB Z10 - Call Log not functional anymore

I no longer have a list of dialed, received or missed calls on my BB Z10. No matter what I try, the call log/list will simply not come back,. Did any one experience this problem?

E 72 Call logs getting deleted automatically

Hi,
I am using e72 since 1 month. My phone call logs gets deleted automatically as the day starts. I have set the call log duration to 30 days. My phone software version is 031.023 date31/03/2010. Please provide the solution

I'm in a huge problem... My E72 is set to log 30 days but it only logs 1000 entries which is not enough for me so my oldest entries get deleted after approximately 22-23 days...
Can anyone from Nokia confirm this? Is S60v3 log limited to 1000 entries? It happened before and it happens also with the newest 051.xxx firmware.
How to resolve this? Cut back on phone usage?!

How long is the phone call log/history maintained on the ios7 for iPhone5?

Google did not show any results for iOS 7 (except this discussion). Just Googling for how long maintained, the answer seems to be it maintains the last 100 calls with no time limit

Curve - Call Log Being Stored in Work Email

Has anyone else experienced this problem? My call log suddenly disappeared. I called ATT & they had me erase a bunch of stuff, which didn't help. I tried a few other things on my own, and now I have a call log, but it's showing up under my email icon, instead of under the phone icon. It is SO annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Your call log disappeared, due to low memory. The Blackberry devices have a Low Memory Manager, that once you hit 400k (or less) memory, the phone will begin deleting call logs and text messages. Using a memory card will help alleviate these issues. However, one other thing to remember, would be to make sure all programs are shut down properly.
On your Home Screen, press and hold Alt and Escape (Back - next to red END key) keys.
A window pops up, showing all open applications.
While continuing to hold down Alt, release Escape, and scroll through the app list, with your trackball.
When you find an application, let go of Alt. This will open that application.
Use Menu - Close, or your Escape key, to close the program.
There are 5 programs that will never close completely, on a Blackberry. These are: Browser, Home screen, Messages, Phone (Call log) and BB Messenger. If you are running Brickbreaker, BB Maps, or even small apps, it will take a lot of memory.
Go into Options > Status, to view your File Free, to see what a difference it makes, once these are closed down.
