Phone call times

During a call, you can see the timer giving the duration of the call.
Where do I look after the call, to find out how long it was?

As far as I know, one cannot view the duration of a specific call on an iPhone once the call has been completed.
I've wanted the ability to view individual call durations also; I've submitted feedback to http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

With the Phone app, select Recents.
Select the right facing arrow in a blue circle icon to the right of a call to view the call time.
For total call time, Settings > General > Usage > Cellular Usage > Call Time. There is a Current Period and Lifetime. You can reset the Current Period time for calls and data.

I will like to make a java program, that enables my mobile phone to make phone call to certain contact. At the moment the call is answer a countdown timer starts (the timer is configured by the user) after the countdown reaches to 0, two things can happen (what happens depends on the user configuration of the program):
1) A sound/vibrate alert (this way the user can disconnect the call manually). After disconnection a message appears asking if you want to redial.
2)The program automatically disconnects the call and redial until the user ends the call manually.
My question is....can I do this???

I don't know about "call drop" but you could implement "one-button" Extension Mobility, set Enforce Maximum Login Time to TRUE and set a time limit (between 1 Minute and 1 Week ins the range) and prevent Multiple Logins Here is a link to EM:

Another idea might be "time-based" COR using the Time Schedule feature with CCM 4.1(3), however this could really complicate your dial plan.

Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality.

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

When I take a call on the iphone, iphone stops streaming the music to apple tv until I finished the call.

As far as I know you can't, which sort of makes sense, it seems logical to pause whatever you are doing while you take a phone call, which after all is the primary function of a phone.

Making sure you can use your phone when you need it is certainly a concern of every consumer. You mean that you're on a single call for 4 hours continously, and then it disconnects?
If so, contact your wireless carrier. That's a cellular connection issue.

How is your iPhone's display different?
You can check the model number by going to Settings/General/About. These are the model numbers for the various 3 GS models;

Yes this is fairly normal. When you have wifi on the phone, it drains the battery life of the device.

You can reset the phone and it won't cause any problems or cause you to lose any data - Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears.
The other thing you should do is to reset your network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to set up your Wifi again, but that oftentimes clears things up.

On iPhone is using Fac Time the same cost as making a mobile phone call?

when using Face Time, is the cost to do this the same as the cost to make a mobile phone call? Or is the cost subtracted from the monthly data download fee? I am using Face Time on my iPhone 5C and my current phone service covers both a set Download and mobile phone calls/ month. Just wondering which is cheaper?

Other than charges for data service, there is no charge for FaceTime.
