Phone call with your own phone number

Today I receive a phone call with my Home Phone on the Caller ID. My Phone Number is supposed to be unlisted.

It is likely a scam or robo call who often mask their own numbers by using legitimate numbers.

I would like to forward my phone calls and texts from current number to work cell and discontinue my current plan while still maintaining my cell number

I have a work cell and would prefer to just have one phone on me, however, I don't want to lose my personal cell number.
I'm ok with paying $5 or $10 a month. Is this possible? I hear I can do it through google voice as well.

So, if I understand what you want to do - you want to keep your current, personal cell #, and forward all calls to your work phone. (I'm not sure if text messages can be forwarded, you may be able to use the desktop Messages app to view and reply to text messages when the phone is not with you.)
In order to accomplish this, you need to have service on the phone number ... what plan are you on now? And what phone do you have on your personal Verizon line?

I can't get my iPad to make calls or answer texts through my iPhone. Same network, bluetooth on both devices, same FaceTime account. I can't find wifi calling on my phone to turn it off. Handoff is working just fine with safari

Wi-Fi calling is only available on T-Mobile. The setting can be found in Settings -> Phone, should you have T-Mobile. Otherwise, Wi-Fi calling is off.

Having issues with phone calls on my new phone. Other user is hearing echoes or nothing at all. This seems to be a common issue on here. VERY annoying! Anything seem to fix this problem?

I had similar issues - Turns out it was a hardware problem or bad antennae - Call the tech support number and they can do some testing to determine the issue. They might be able to give you a replacement if you do it quickly.

I purchased two brand new Apple products: MacBook Pro with Retina display, and the new iPhone 6. I would love to use this new feature of making phone calls with my macbook but cannot seem to make it work. It keeps saying "iPhone and macbook has to be on the same wifi network" Which they are, I have followed the steps in preferences on my macbook and in my iPhone that will allow the use of these new features. It isn't a virus.
I would try the Restore from backup first and if that does not help try a Restore as a new iPhone.

It's an issue with hundreds of phones. Some claim it's software related, some hardware, some say it's a mixture of both.
Some people have had temporary success with quitting the Phone.app / restoring as a new phone / restoring from an iCloud backup / disabling Siri / toggling speakerphone on & off...
Unfortunately all of the above only been temporary, with the problem recurring again after a few calls, or a few days etc.
So far the only solution that seems permanent has been to replace the phone. But even so, it's the luck of the draw to recieve a functional phone, and not another faulty one.
I'm completely annoyed as there is no Apple Store near me...... and Apple haven't even acknowledged the issue, despite the above thread being 34 pages long, as of writing.

Your iPad is not a cellular telephone. The cellular connection is a data-only connection.
You can use a third-party app like Skype to make phone calls.

Try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release then wait for the phone to boot back up.
