Phone crashed, Backup did not restore at all. Also, the backlight will not work. HELP!

Self explanitory, I suppose. I'm only 17, my parents don't want to help too much, so a self-fix would be appreciated.
My phone spazzed, the screen stopped working, so I backed it up. on multiple computers. I restored it to factory settings, and when I tried to restore from backup, On every computer I recieved an error stating that it could not restore because the backup could not be saved onto the computer. The factory settings phone works fine, but the backlight will not work 99% of the time (except random sporaddic moments that last a milisecond). It is getting extremely annoying, and I have lost all contacts, over 10,000 pictures, meaningful texts, recordings of songs that I worte, My whole calendar for college, and most importantly, a voice recording of my now-deceased mither telling me she loves me. Is there any way that I can get all of this back, or at least get the backlight to work?! Please and thank you, Katie.

I experienced this one time and this is what I did and it worked for me. You can try it as well and see of it works for you.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap on your ID and sign out. Restart your iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign In. Then go to automatic downloads and try again.

Why all of the sudden will not print from email or phone - no problems before

I have had no problems with my new web enabled printer from day one. Infact I fell in love with it. I haven't printed anything on it for a few days now and all of the sudden it won't print. I am connected to the internet and it shows being online but nothing. Can't print emails or phono's from my phone. I have double checked everything and it won't work.

I forgot to mention - according to my emails and the notice I recieved it says the mail has been delivered to my printer and it is waiting to print.

PPC all of the sudden will not file share, what can I do?

I have a PPC G5 OSX 10.4.11 all of the sudden I went to connect to my MacBook Pro with file sharing and I can not. I can see the MacBook in my network area and when I hit connect it lets me put in my password and then I try to click on the folder to mount it and my finder freezes. I relaunch the finder but still get the spinning wheel of death over the network window. I have looked online and all the forums say I have to reinstall my OS but there has to be another way, can anyone help? I also try to open my "file share" option on my PPC but it will not do that either. Thanks in advance.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these files to the Desktop.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

My MacBook Pro will not start at all., My MacBook Pro will not start at all.

The only previous problem was a few days ago the colors on my display looked a little off/fuzzy. I immediately restarted and the problem didn't return. Then today, I had it shut but when I opened it it was off and will not start again. It sounds like it's on as there's a slight fan noise, also the charge lights go up to fully charged. But there is no noise or anything when I try to start it.
I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, butt I started using a new charger today. It was second hand but the same one as before.
It was purchased in early 2012, not sure what OS. Any help is appreciated!

The collum to the right listed similar problems. The solution appears to be that under smtp outgoing settings the user name and password are listed as optional. I have not plugged in the information and it seems to be working. However from my office it always allowed the relaying. The true test will be when I try to respond later from the road.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

I did restore my phone last week, it went well. Today, i turned my phone off and turn it back on, now it is stuck in itunes logo and i was thinking that it needs a restore again. Thanks for the question. Start with completely uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components in the order specified in the article below. Once this is done, download and install iTunes.
