Phone does not recognise battery
I have just purchased 2nd hand (but brand new in box) a curve 9360 for my daughters xmas.When i put the battery in it goes red on front,powers the blackberry screen then goes off to show a battery with red X through it.In the manual this says "battery not inserted correctly or invalid battery".
There is only 1 way to put the battery in & it`s a new official battery.Please help

What's the name of the Battery? is it EM-1?

You don't need an app. You need couple's counseling. I believe what you want to do may also be illegal in many jurisdictions.

I had to change my Apple ID and my phone does not recognise my new id.
I had to change my Apple ID since I've gotten my iphone 4s. My computer recognises my "new account" but my phone does not. This poses a problem when I have app updates and the password promt has my OLD apple id and not the new one. Anyone have any ideas with what can fix this? Thanks!!! =-)
No need to double post.
Again, as stated, apps are FOREVER tied to the AppleID under which they were purchased. If you change your AppleID, the apps purchased on the old AppleID will NOT work. If you want to keep your new AppleID, you will have to purchase all those apps again, or else you'll need to keep changing your AppleID on your phone back and forth. -
Phone does not recognise contacts
I have a few contacs on my phones address book that my phone just will not recognise when they phone or txt me. Ive tried deleting and re saving the number, syncing to google but it just doesnt seem to remember them.

On your computer > access your Gmail > contacts > add the contact > sync your phone
and/o
on your phone > open the phone app > look for the number (whenever they called you) > click on > then Add to Contacts > Create a new contact > enter name/last name > Phone contact or Google contact > open the phonebook > check the filter if phone contacts are set to be displayed or not.

PowerBook G3 Wallstreet does not recognise battery - what could cause this?
I have recently been trying to revive an old PowerBook Wallstreet G3 that has sat in a cupboard for 5 years. Initially, whilst it did boot on AC, it did not see either old battery in either bay and would not keep the date. I replaced the re-chargeable (PRAM) battery and it will now keep the date but still does not see either battery. I ordered a new battery which arrived today. It to is not seen and so cannot charge.
I have re- set the PMU and tried battery re-set 2.0. The computer was having re-charge problems before I put it away. It would see the batteries but would only re-charge when sleeping. I can believe that the old batteries are shot but would have expected the new one to be ok. The RH media bay will take a DVD drive and does see it when installed.
Any ideas as to what is causing the problem? What boards might I replace to try to fix it. Having done the PRAM battery replacement I am happy to take it appart.

Your not talking to apple here, we are users just like you. But if you have restored your phone from backup, then from new, and still not working, then make an appointment with an apple genius bar, let them check it and replace if needed.

N95 8GB My phone does not recognise some stored co...
Hi somebody please help ! When receiving a text message from some of my stored contacts, instead of their name being displayed at the top of message, only their number is displayed, preceded by +447. I have tried deleting & re-entering correctly but nothing works. A clue maybe is that the problem contacts have 'syncronisation : private' added to the contact information but I do not know how to remove it (only to change it to 'sync : public' or 'sync : none'). Could it be anything to do with PC Suite ? I 've loaded the new N95 version recently. C'mon all you gurus, put me out my misery !

I reside in chennai India. Bought iPhone 4s while on holiday to USA from best buy. On return to chennai I have got it unlocked. But the phone does not recognise the sim. Contacted local apple service. They say phone to be replaced. I cannot go to USA for this and courier charges are very high. What do I do? Can I get it replaced in India? If so where and how? I could have bought the phone in India itself I just wanted a souvenir from USA. Is this the quality check they do there. Pl help

I have a 16GB iPhone 3GS. Tried synching my phone through iTunes (11.0.1 I think... on a 2009 Macbook Pro). Now when I connect to iTunes, it says it does not recognise the content on my phone. Is this because my phone (and laptop) are too old?
Also, when I tried to Restore the settings, an Error Message pops up that says " The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. The requested resource was not found.
I'm trying to free up space on my phone by removing [literally] thousands of old photos which were originally synched to the phone, because I had forgotten to uncheck the photos button when I synched it ages ago.
I have also tried synching it on my 24" iMac (running OSX Snow Leopard). But again, when I try restoring the phone through itunes, it says the file is corrupted. It sggests unplugging the device, and then plugging it in again. I have done this numerous times with no success.
I'm guessing it must be because my phone (and versions of iTunes, and OSX) are all too old.
Please can anybody help.

I was in the middle of updated iOS7 onto my 4s then it crashed, tried to restore and backup and it wont power off restart it just shows a black screen.
Tried the tips

Yes, my telco is an approved carrier. If my phone was brand new, I think so, they opened it in front of me.. I really couldn't remember it was 1.4 years ago. It did seem new.
