"phone in use" when calling out

Macbook Pro late 2013 and Yosemite. I notice when I am docked with my 27" Apple Display (2014), undock so I can take my laptop and reconnect my display later that I can not receive a call. The iPhone and iPad ring. When I call out I get a message that the phone is in use. My work around has been to restart the Macbook Pro when I reconnect the display. My thought was maybe it had something to do with the IP addresses of both the wired and wireless LAN creating havoc. Has anyone else experienced this?

Tour 9630 says phone in use when trying to make a call.

We have 10 new BB Tour 9630. We have already returned one due to garbled voice. Another has developed a new condition that such that when trying to make a call it says "phone in use" when there is no call in progress. Only solution so far is to take battery out and reboot. It has happened 2 times in the past week. Taking the battery out and rebooting is not an acceptable solution. Anyone have any better ideas?

Other than exchanging it, I would suggest upgrading the OS to the latest released and see if that helps any.

In the Contacts app, select "Groups" in the upper left hand corner.
Then select all the groups that are desired to be displayed.
Select Done.
Now search for the contact(s) in question. Do they appear now?

IPhone 4s not sound when calling out

Hi I recently updated my 4s to iOS 7.1, everything works fine but when i decied to try and make a phone call i realized the calls connects but when I try to speak I get no feedback (no one answer) I thought that was a fluke well tried one more time samething, the thing is that i get no feedback when i call out, i say well i guess this **** is fuckd up not worrying cause i have another one and i just have to replace the logic board and put it on the most recent 4s i have,
Guess what? SAME ISSUE this can not be a HARDWARE issue cause I placed the 2nd logicboard (the one i dont use) on the case of my iphone and it is working so that means has to so something with software I called the Customer Care, their answer is for just 199$ they will replace my phone so nice they are so considered.

You wouldnt believe it, i have exactly the same issue and it happened as of last sunday day after you posted this. I have tried all the fixes on the internet and they all dont help. The only places i seem to hear people on calls is when i use Viber or tango etc. Looks like its straigh to Apple

Hi I'm trying to make a news viewing function in Flash 8. The
swf calls out a php script, php script queries the MySQL DB then
php sends info to swf file to display it. Unfortunately, the

Your PHP script does not return values if the query fails, if
the database is not connected, if the query returns no results.
Thus you may be getting undefined in those cases.
1. Did you try running the PHP script in the Web browser?

Phone Freezes up when Closing out multiple Apps in Multitasking toolbar.

Hello World...umm.. I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but every since I have upgraded to os 4 on my 3G S... whenever I proceed to close apps out of my multitask toolbar after the 4th app closed in a row my phone COMPLETELY LOCKS UP! Unresponsive mode major. I hold the lock button to turn it off and nothing happens I keep pressing the home button and nothing happens. It just freezes in the toolbar but the apps are still wiggling? Anyone might have heard whats going on with this? I have to hold my lock button and home button to reset it and reboot to resume usage of my phone. Thanks...

This happens to me also. I think it's a bug in the software
It happened on my 3GS and also happens on my iPhone 4.
It doesn't only happen when closing out of the 4th or 5th app, sometimes it happens to me on the first app or just at random times. It takes about 2 minutes for the phone to unfreeze, or you can simply restart it.
Apple needs to fix this, and also recall these iPhone 4s because of the antenna issue they're refusing to accept.

Verizon Error Message when Calling out?

Whenever I call out to a select few numbers, I get an error message that says "We could not complete your call at this time. Announcement 3 switch 20-1"
Does anyone know what this means?

My phone has no sound when calling out.

What I mean by this is, when I make or recieve a call the person on the other end cannot hear ME. I can hear them just fine. They can hear me if I put it on speaker phone or attach a handsfree device. I also discovered Siri is no longer working. Now as I assume the same mic is used for speaker phone and regular(phone to ear) calls, it seems to me the MIC itself is not broken. I just do not understand what this problem could be. I have done a factory reset to no avail! Any suggestions?? Customer support has no idea what this problem could be, and I have an appointemnt at the Mac store tomorrow, but I dont want to get a new phone

U-verse internet dropped when 5.8GHz wordless phone is used (in and out)

I guess I was thinking about getting where it could easilyt be returned.
Now I am thinking - Is there any way to get a wired phone? I know that would be inconvenient, but I would really like to see you shut down at least one of the wireless systems for a good test.

I have new equipment of PACE Plc, 5031NV-030, H/W version 2701-000875-004. It's installed by an AT&T techinican in Feb 2015. Our problem is, every time when we receive a phone or dial out, the U-verse internet drops. Only until the phone is hung up, U-verse will resume within 1-min. Our cordless phone is a GE model with 5.8GHz. What to check? Phone does not ring when calling out

When I make a phone call I cannot hear phone ringing unless I put speaker on. Once person answers I can take off speaker phone and hear normally through the phone .

In your first post you said you tried a reset, is this what you did, if not do this: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release(ignore the slide to power off). The phone has independent volume control for each function, make sure your volume is turned up:

Error message when calling out on IPhone 4S

When we dial out using our Iphone 4S phones, we get a message that says "Please re-enter the 10 digit number you are calling. Do not press send, *67 or *82 cannot be used to block Caller ID. This is happening with all 4 of our Iphone 4S's. I have the Iphone 5S on the same plan and it is not doing this. Once the message plays you can re-enter the phone number that you are trying to call and the call works. But its very annoying to have to dial the number twice. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I completely understand the need of reliable service, Gabynlopez! In review of the coverage area at 42732, it appears that this is a 4G extended area. LTE service is not guaranteed in this area. Since you have a 4G/LTE device, the *228 function will not work.
Lets try this. Go to settings > general > disable LTE. Your device should work with the 3G network in this area.
You may also try settings > general > reset > reset network settings.

it depends how hot it is, but it is normal for the phone to get hot when it uses the communication chip.

Different session used when calling stored procedure from form

after commiting data in a form to a table, a stored procedure is called that inserts the data written to the table into several other tables. Some columns in the original table are updated - no commit is issued in the procedure. On returning from the procedure the form is re-queried but the updated columns don't contain the updates. This seems to imply that the stored procedure is running as a different session to the one of the form.
Is this the case? Can we make the form and the stored procedure use the same session so that the data is available in both without having to commit in the procedure?

No. They should be within one session unless you explicitly open a new session.
The reason why you dont see updates of the data block when you requery is probably the changes on the form never go to the back end. I think first you have to make sure data changes go to db table. You can do a commit_form before calling the stored procedure and open up another session (e.g. sqlplus) to check the data in the table changed or not.

How do I block my number when calling out?

I want to prevent them from knowing that I am calling. I have to use my cell phone for business, but I do not want every client having my telephone number.
