Phone intermittently disconnects 4g without notice or warning.  What's wrong?

Every so often (sometimes as much as once a day) my 4G connection randomly turns off.  Usually after switching between WiFi on/off.  I notice that it gets stuck in 3G and I will have to manually go into Settings > More Settings... > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > and check "LTE" back ON.
This is getting really old.  Sometimes I will not even receive any service even if 3G is on.  Data will not send/receive until I go in and manually check LTE back on again.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?  Any solution?

Removing the SIM card, leave out 5 minutes, reinsert SIM and reboot.Only temporary fix.
New Sim cardI'm on my second one...Best Buy gave me a hard time replacing my first one (apparently they're supposed to charge you for it...ha).  I might try this again, but I am skeptical.
Getting a CLN replacement phone under warranty.What is a CLN?  I have Best Buy warranty...I really do not want to send it out for repair or even get a refurb.  Too much hassle.  Would be last resort.

    Ana Candano, what is your Aperture version? Earlier Aperture versions - until Aperture 3.2.4 had colored icons, Aperture 3.3 and later are gray in gray. Do you have two versions of Aperture installed?
    When you post back, list your version of MacOS X and the versions of any Aperture.app you can find with Spotlight on your Mac.

    you may have to perform a full restore via itunes. Be warned, that process will remove all of you data from the device, so make sure to have a back up somewhere

    hi, i have the curve8520 on tmobile and i recently downloaded an app called KIK MESSENGER as everyone was raving on about it and then everyone said it could be a virus or it hacks into your phone, so i deleted it. Now thoough my screen went blank(white) and turned itself off and the little red light keeps flashing (definitely not dead as was n charge when it cut out) could this possbly be the app doing this or is my phone totally broke?

    Tried deleting tablet widget, and created fresh form widget, no luck. Tried copy -paste from desktop in tablet, no luck.
    Anyone, any ideas what could be wrong?
    Only receiving the desktop and phone forms at the moment.

    Since you have a jailbroken iPhone (which you stated in a previous post), this is not the place to come for help. "Try a Restore in iTunes," is the advice you'll get here.

    I guess the title says it all.  So am i correct that I will need to wipe my phone and loose all my contacts that I have spent years accumulating along with all my other data?  There were no passwords on this phone before downloaded the updated operating system.  This makes no sense.  Find my phone is very sporatic with this new operating system.  Jumps back and forth between phones on its own.  I am so frustrated with Apple!

    No it didn't.  You did, whether you realize it or not.  Restrictions can only be enabled by user interaction.  They don't just turn on by themselves.

    Why do'nt you just restore the latest backup that was made prior to you applying the update?  Problem solved?

    Their network and their right to charge what they want and what policies they want.  If people don't like the terms it's best to look elsewhere.  Currently there is no carrier in the world that doesn't require a data plan for a smartphone.  T-Mobile US is one that only if you bought the device outright you don't need one, BUT it's dependent on the plan you get.
    Also the iPhone 3G will not work on Verizon.  Difference in technology...

  • Skype ToGo Number changed without notice? Did Sky...

    This morning, I recieved an email stating that since I'd registered my cell-phone number (which I did a long time ago), I had been given a Skype ToGo number, which was listed in the email.
    However, I already have a SkypeToGo number and it is a different number from the one listed in the email!
    Which number should I use?  I tried calling the original number I've always used and it appears to be still connected.
    I sure hope Skype isn't changing the number on me without any advance warning or consultation... (?!)

    The e-mail was sent from Skype to our users who have a verified phone number and who are eligible to use the Skype To Go service.
    If you received the email, it means you have been enabled with a Skype To Go access number to make international calls, at normal SkypeOut rates, directly from your mobile phone.

    I am unable to back up my iPhone 6 to computer (iMac) keep getting error message saying that my phone is disconnected.  The phone syncs with iTunes on iMac but I am unable to back up without getting the error message saying that the phone is disconnected.  I can back up to iCloud but not to iMac.
    Any suggestions?  I was able to back up for about a week and now this message appears every time.

  • I can't sync my iPhone, brand new computer and it says the phone was disconnecte

    I can't sync my phone to my new macbook pro. I bought it the day after Lion OS came out and it is installed. When I use itunes to sync my phone it says that the phone was disconnected. I tried several cords and the help line. They said it is a probelm with lion and that I need to reinstall it. No idea how to do that. They said it would take a while and I didn't have time then.

    If you ever want to cut down on back up times eject your SIM card before starting...you should see the over all time go down a noticable amount.
    Disclaimer: this does not mean that it will zip like lightning, just move faster than it dies with the card in...

  • WRT54G: Frequent, but intermittent Disconnects

    I have a WRT54G that I've been using for almost 2 years now.  For the most part, the router works great, even though it will occassionaly drop my computer's [i]wired[/i] connection and often drop my Xbox's [i]wireless[/i] connection.  More recently, I have upgraded to Windows 7 and am experiencing very frequent, but intermittent disconnects which mainly appear to be on the wired end. 
    Steps I've Taken Thus Far
    Updated NIC drivers
    Updated Router Firmware (Apparently 8.00.7 is the latest for my router.)
    Reset router to factory configuration and reconfigured
    Searched all over the internet for a solution
    Basically, this is what happens:  I'll be online, usually playing a game or trying to d/l a patch for one and things will be great, but out of nowhere, the router's power light will start blinking and the little SES button (that Cisco one that lights up) will shut off - this is when I lose my connection.  Sometimes it's just temporary and the router will cycle, the powerlight will go solid and the Cisco light will turn back on.  Often, I have to unplug and plug the router back in to get it to cycle.  I don't think I'm losing connection to my cable modem as the Internet light stays active, but maybe.  So it seems to me that I'm mainly losing connection on just my own network.  The strange thing is that sometimes I can go for [i]hours[/i] without any trouble but sometimes I can't make it 10 minutes without losing my connection 3 or 4 times.
    Any help?

    Since you have done all the settings on your Router, and already upgraded the firmware on your Router... As you have mentioned that after a period of time, the power light on your router starts flashing and at that moment you are disconnected from all your computer...
    Well i think its a problem with the router itself. I hate to say that but I think its time for you to get a New Router.

    To my knowledge, I've only seen this for imessage only and not SMS.
    The other users would need to have send read receipts enabled on their phone.
