Phone lags

I have 4 Windows Phones - 5 including the Lumia 900 and I have noted a lag issue with the 900 that does not present on the other devices.
I recreated this issue on several 900s in two AT&T stores so I am sure this affects more than just my phone.
The easiest way for me to demonstrate the problem is with the game wordament. If you swipe words quickly the 900 will not be able to keep up and will lose touch response completely for about 1 second.
Also if you are sending a text and use auto-correct a lot it will replace the wrong words slower and slower. Eventually I will have to slow down typing speed for the 900 to catch up. I cannot type faster than any of my other Windows Phones (not even close).
I'm not sure if it's a touch screen issue or a lag/slowness issue but there is definitely an issue.
Hopefully other people report this too so Nokia can work on it.
I also assume this is why sometimes scrolling is hitchy. Not nearly as fluid as other Windows Phones.

I don't know if it's really a lag, but there are times when I open the messaging, the animation of the tiles isn't as smooth as when I open other apps. It's kinda annoying for me, since I always hear/read that Windows Phone is really smooth and fluid yet there are times that opening the messaging app isn't really smooth.
BTW I'm using a Lumia 820.

Restore the phone as a new device. There is probably something that was corrupted on your phone during the update and has been passed via the backup to the replacement phone. If the corruption/problem is contained in the backup, you'll need to re-sync your data, and re-install your apps manually. Restoring the backup again will only bring the problem back with it.
If restoring it as new does not fix it, then make an appointment at the genius bar.

New BB 10 Software 10.1.0.273 made phone lag

I went under system updates to see whether there were any updates, and i saw one so i downloaded it. Right after that, i restared my phone for the OS to kick in. When it restarted, the following began to happen...
1) do not receive text msgs and phone doesnt refresh page
2) phone calls dropping
3) apps shutting down
4) overall phone lagging
I tried callingg BB and Fido support several times and they have been wasting my time making me do their "normal troubleshoot list". I have tried everything, even BB Link however nothing is working. I need a resoloution to this ASAP or I will be just another leaving BB (I love BB and have gone through all of their phones, so a big deal). Can anyone please help me solve this or will I be provided a new phone since it is still under manufacturer's warranty.

Then my next suggestion would be go to your Settings > Accounts, and turn off or delete all accounts setup, email, Facebook, twitter, etc., for an hour. Then do another powered on battery pull reboot.
Leave the device for a couple of hours, and see if the lag and other issues remain or cease.

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for about 15-20 seconds.

LOW RAM problem , Apps keeps restarting , phone lags

ever since i got my new xperia z1 , i keep getting this problem:
-> after using the phone for 5 hours i realize the phone lags and pressing "back button" doesnt go back , so i have to use the home button to go to home , then i checked settings and went to Apps > Running , i see i only have like 100ram left en all the apps says " RESTARTING " and it stays that way, doesnt change [CHECK SCREENSHOT].
Only way to fix this is by Restarting the phone , then after turning it on , everything seems to be normal [800mb ram left] [apps counting time] , BUT AFTER using for like a few HOURS the same THING HAPPENDS again , and it keeps happening.
So ends up restarting the phone for like 5 times a day , this isnt normal.
Is there anyway to fix this ? or is it a bug? pls help/reply

this is the common issue most of phone users talked about, when you use any apps, there might be many background process or apps will be running, you can do few steps as me , since i do same for my phone, it works superb
>you can stop unwanted apps running on the background process by killing it,
settings -> apps -> running -> tap on the apps like, gtalk, whatsapp(if you are not using it), dont stop the buildin apps came along with Sony
>you can install app AppmgrIII which helps in saving the size on phone, which might help you
>if possible try to shutdown many processes at the background , until and unless you really needed it
>when you update any apps then check whether that update is necessary for you or not , if not then dont update it, just skip it
>if you are not using any app always, then uninstall the app or atleast uninstall the update of that, it will save some memory and Ram

At the end of every month, my phone lags and texts aren't sent or received

Every month, around the time I get the Verizon alert that I've used 90% of my monthly data, my Note 3 seems to slow down significantly.
I don't mean my data connection has been limited, my phone itself lags. Tapping things takes a second or two to register and my phone just generally stutters and lags. Also, texts take hours to send, if they do at all. I don't receive any texts unless I restart my phone, which seems to retrieve most of the texts I missed.
Both of these problems instantly disappear when the month ends and my data counter resets. I'm not 100% sure that it's linked to my data usage, but it starts around the same time I use 90%. I've tried disabling the data usage limit and alerts built into Android, but it doesn't fix it.
What's going on? Is this a Verizon problem or is my phone defective? How can I fix it?

Being able to use your data is very important and we want to make sure you have access to it at all times. I can understand being concerned if this happens every month. Has your phone completed any software updates before this started to happen? We can have you remove and re-add the sim card to see if that resolves the issue as well. hi i've experienced a lag on phone i open my game and it displays only black screen and loading i tried this on different games but when i restart my phone it works and there is no problem. its because of the ram? btw soft reset (power+volume = restart?). what if i will always do a factory reset does will work on major issues?

Phone lagging when using imessage

When ever I am in a group imessage, my phone "freezes and lags". Any idea why? Does this happen to anyone else?

Do you have a large number of messages?
If you can afford to get rid of a few conversations, that can always help.
Is your phone on the latest software?
settings>general>about>software version. should be 6.1.4 If not, backup and then update through itunes.
you can also sign out of your imessage and then back in..

You cannot regress once you've installed an update.
Try resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

What to do when phone lagging

Hello everyone. i bought iphone 4g 32gb like 1 month and half ago. Looks like everything is ok with my iphone untill now, phone started lagging when im playing some games but not all of them for example angry birds.... or surfing in internet. maybe i caught malicious malware that causes my phone to work slower and makes programs lagging? or maybe its hardware issue? Tell me why this is happened, explain me all reasons why my phone started lagging,and tell me what should i have to do becouse im still beginer in iphones. share with your opinion guys.

Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of this been tried?
Unless the phone is jailbroken, there is no malware or malicious software that affects iOS.

Phone Lag

My Sony Z1 Compact has recently started to lag, noticeably. When I open up apps there is a half second delay before the phone registers the action and when I am playing games the timing with my touch and the screen is completely off. I haven't had the phone very long, nor have a clogged the phones memory up. Just wondering if there was anything I could do?

Nokia phones lags behind competitor in features

Hi all, I have been disappointed at Nokia's new line of releases of smartphones, I find them lagging behind in features in both hardware & software.
I am very impressed by Android devices like Motorola's Milestones & Samsung's galaxy S2, I like my N900 but is seriously considering upgrade to the Motorola Milestone 3 which hasn't been release yet.

If I use the FM Transmitter in the car the phone eventually starts to misbehave. It starts to lag and it will get worse over time forcing me to reboot which then solves the problem.
Here's hoping Nokia fixes this..

I've noticed something similar on this one,
The FM transmitter works fine whilst playing music,
but if I leave it on standby in the background when I'm done the phone, especilay the homescreen becomes very laggy after a while and prone to hanging,
If I turn the FM transitter off after I have finished with the music player I don't see the problem

IPhone 5 lags after updating to iOS 8.0.2

RRecently updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.0.2. First of all battery life has declined it's not as good as it used to be in 7.1.2. There is no 3G toggle in settings its really frustrating because in my country 3G plans are costly and signal is not so great. And it lags while opening folders sudden jerky kinda animation. Lag is quire noticeable even in lock screen while trying to open control centre and notifications. Lags even in Safari more frequently. Is it a strategy to make old phones more slow so people will upgrade?? hope apple comes with one more update to fix the lag. Otherwise I am stuck in this ios 8 forever. That's shame.

Hi! I always reset my network setting after every update of iOS because of the battery drain. I did the same for iOS 8.02, but to no effect. The problems I am experiencing are:
1. battery drain - just around 4hrs of regular use instead of 8hrs
2. the phone lags even when answering calls
3. frequent signal drops and the phone heating up
4. reset by itself yesterday while i was switching between apps
I also updated an iPad mini first gen, but has no problem so far.

Why do I constantly have to restart my phone daily since the 4.3 update and why are there zero answers or help from Verizon or Samsung?

Ever since the 4.3 update, which I waited until end of January 2014 to download, My phone has been messed up. Some of the problems I solved on my own since Verizon and Samsung both refused to help me. I fixed the charging problem by using an HTC Incredible charger since Samsung's charger is garbage since the update. Battery drain is also a constant issue. Ram is ALWAYS full which should be a good thing but clearing it out completely and killing off all Google apps seems to make my phone all of a sudden fly and work super fast. As the day goes on I am unable to clear all of these unwanted items from being open and bogging down my phone. Most of the apps doing this are the preloaded ones you don't need. I am forced to restart my phone to get the memory cleared at least 2-4 times a day. Verizon tells me this is normal. Samsung hangs up on me when I call. Why do I have to restart this phone just to get it to work like it should after a few hours of being on? Does Verizon care about customers or just money?

@Verizon Wireless Customer Support. I have the 4.3 version that I got with the awful update. I waited until the end of January to download it and guess what was never fixed? Your update. Its been months and battery drain is not better at all. I have replaced with a new battery and it was the same problem. I have used safe mode numerous times and it does not do anything either other than annoy me some more. I have done a factory reset on my phone since the update I downloaded in January 47 times so far. It didn't do anything but erase everything and I had to start all over. Google apps are a major reason my phone is lagging. Once I force stop them the phone has incredible speed, when the Google apps are on, the phone lags. The internet browser is also super slow. 56k dial up has faster speeds than my mobile browser and I have full 4g lte bars. Its beyond annoying because when ever I call Verizon customer service I am told nothing is wrong. If I break the phone into a million pieces you would still tell me its working properly. This problem persists on a daily basis. I now restart my phone 4 to 6 times daily. I am starting to wonder why the quality of your company is getting worse and worse? I have been around with Verizon wireless since early 2000 when you first merged with Vodafone, but in the past 4 years things have changed dramatically and I have stopped feeling appreciated like Verizon once made me feel
