i have 8310 curve and my phone died from one minute to next, i know battery is working because i plugged into other phone. HELP!

Can you give more information about your situation? You said you have a Curve 8310 - who is your provider and what OS do you have? Go to your OPTIONS icon - then about. It will say 4.something.....

APP store indicates 1 update. Press "store", "loading" briefly on screen then white screen with updates bar on top. Press updates button in lower right; nothing happens frozen with white screen and still indication 1 update. Other store features and ipod work ok
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign ut and sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Basics from the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have these ALL been tried?

Macbook pro 2009 unibody with white screen and kernel panics
I upgrade to Lion a month or two ago and things have been working fine. A few days ago, I try to wake my computer from sleep and it freezes on a white screen. I reboot only to continue to find the white screen. I hear the chime every time on boot. From then on, I am having different responses on startup.
Initially I could boot to single user mode no problem, but would continue to get white screen on regular boot. I tried to reinstall lion, and on restart midway through install I got the half-gray "you need to restart" kernel panic screen.
Yesterday at apple store, it would not boot to single user, OS select, verbose, etc. modes. They told me it was logic board or hard drive.
Bough a SSD, successfully installed Snow Leopard, and then continued to have similar kernel panics.
Now, replaced originaly harddrive and successfully reinstalled Lion, although got a kernel panic on the halfway reboot (log posted below). Install finished, and now up and running for about an hour. Decided to reboot to check, and big surprise, one more kernel panic. (2nd log posted below).
Is this a logic board? Seems like the HD is not the problem since same issue with a SSD.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated, apply was very unhelpful (I am out of warranty, no applecare). Thanks

How to run hardware diagnostics for an Intel Mac
Boot from your original OS X Installer Disc One that came with your computer. After the chime press and hold down the "D" key until the diagnostic screen appears. Run the extended tests for a minimum of two or three hours. If any error messages appear note them down as you will need to report them to the service tech when you take the computer in for repair.
Some "common" error indicators:
SNS - sensor error
MEM - memory error
HDD - hard disk drive error
MOT - fan error
Cannot guarantee that it will reveal anything. As for using the other GPU all I say is you can try switching to it in Energy Saver preferences. -
Starts with white screen and apple logo
After a software update (or during an update) my apple ipod touch does not start up any more.
It starts with the apple logo and after a while the screen turns white or blue and thats it.
Sometimes (after a reset) it starts looping apple logo , white screen, apple logo and so on.
Is not recognized in itunes.Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
How to fix facebook page loading with white screen and text on left side
When I log into facebook, there is a white screen with the text displayed on left side of screen. I have tried to delete cache and cookies but page will still not display properly. Please help!

Help with white screen and thunderbolt icon!
I have a new MBP. I was trying to transfer stuff from my iMac to the new MBP using a thunderbolt cable and pressing down the 'T' key while restarting my iMac.
Long story short, there was not enough room on my MBP so I just continued on without transferring anything. Disconnected the thunderbolt and my iMac is still on a white screen with a floating thunderbolt. How do I proceed?

My phone just is a white screen and does nothing else.
Its a curve 8520 I have had it for 1 yr and a half and it wont work let me do anything. I haven't ever dropped it so please tell me what I shall do.

Ipod touch with white screen and blue and green lines
I have had the newest ipod touch for a year now no problems..I was just on Facebook and the screen froze then went white with a lot of blue and green colored lines on it. It won't do anything I have tried plugging it in and holding down sleep and the home button for ten seconds but I get nothing. What should I do? Will this be covered if I take it took the apple store?

My 3GS phone has a continuous white screen and will not let me get to my display. I have connected to ITunes and restored the hardware and restarted my phone and I still get the same thing. Anybody have any solutions?
me too, i think its called the wsod (white screen of death) and i think its a hardware defect caused by either the lcd or the connector

iphone 4s will not turn on, you can not restore with itunes. What to do? Phone lit white screen and nothing can be done?
Reboot computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click the Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

Hi i recently used my hp laptop screen to test another laptop acer aspire 5517. After the test i reconnected back the cable only to power it on a white screen appeared with caps lock blink twice. You had stated that you receive a White Screen and the Caps Lock are blinking twice. Please be very careful when it comes to blink patterns as sometimes there can be a pause between the blinking. Before you start troubleshooting, please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues. Here is the first document I found called Performing a Hard Reset or Forced Reset. If that does not work, please follow Computer Does Not Start (Windows 8). If anyone knows anything about this...
When I select "Phone" on my home screen the iPhone attempts to open it, brings up a white screen and then will shut back down. I have 8 missed calls or voicemails yesterday and I couldn't check any of them. Does this happen to anyone else?
Also, when I receive a call and I answer it does not give me the ability to end call or any of my options (sources, keypad,etc.) during the call.
Basically, I can't do anything with my contacts, favorites, missed calls or voicemails.
Can someone please help?I have tried that multiple times. I have also made sure that I have the latest updates. Would haveing 27,000+ contacts have anything to do with it?

Somehow a network disc has gotten selected as your startup disk. Hold the option key at start up and you should be presented with the boot screen, choose your internal hdd and once it starts go into preferences>startup disk and set the internal as your start up drive.
