Phone locks when placing phone near ear but does not unlock afterwards

I am experiencing a screen lock problem when making calls. After I initiate or receive a call and place my phone near my ear to talk, the screen goes black as in lock mode. Once i am done talking and I want to end the call, I move my phone away from my ear and put it in front of me to press the "end call button", but the screen keeps itself in lock mode. Sometimes i get lucky if a move the phone a lot to get the screen to show up again but most of the times i see myself having to press the lock button various times along with the menu button or just wait for the party to end the call and unlock it again. Is this happening to anyone else?

This issue is something I am encountering as well. I will assume it has something to do with the current OS version and believe it will be addressed in 2.0.1 upon its release. I also know that by taping the power button the phone is sent into lock mode, but it appears no one hear is using a case so that is likely not the issue.
I have also got the phone to do this while using the SMS feature. It happened following the sending process of several SMS messages.
I'll contact Apple today and post a full recount of the conversation at some point today.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

I found the answer just after posted this. Thanks to a user named CloudWalker. Solution is to go in AppStore, View Account under "Store" Menu and unhide any purchases.

I have several email account setup on iphone. for one of them can receive from/to emails from phone, but emails sent from computer not received on phone. phone shows receiving but does not come thru

For test messages phone shows "receiving" but nothing comes to inbox. External sent mail does not come to phone inbox, but does to outlook on computer. Have checked settings and these seem correct. What's up? Four other accounts work fine.

If you can send e-mail when on WiFi from home, but not when on 3G, that indicates your email provider is blocking e-mail being sent from outside their network. This is done to control Spam. ISPs who do this will usually have a separate SMTP server that should be used when using a mobile device. Check with them again.

I can receive texts from one contact but when I reply she does not receive the text. It does not say delivered when the text is sent but does not say that it has not been sent.

One of my long standing contacts cannot receive texts from me. I can see them from her. We both have iPhones . We have been texting for years.
My outgoing message is sent as iMessage and stays blue. It does not say delivered but it does not say that it has been unable to send.

Issue when switching rooms in spark but does not exist in mx namespace?

I have a Flex SDK 4.0 application that I have declared with <s:Application. In this application I have 2 rooms, that have two different ConnectSession components associated with each as well as seperate Pod's with seperate shareID's for each. (nothing in the two rooms overlap). I also have 2 buttons that switch between room1 and room2 when either button is clicked.
my issue is that using the <s:Application declaration for my app..then transitioning from room2 BACK to room1 (transitioning from room1 to room2 works fine), gives me this error:

However, when I change the application to <mx:Application, and then attempted the transition again... BACK to room1 from room2.. everything works FINE! This may be a simple issue so please bare with =). Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this issue with spark and how to fix it so that I CAN use spark as my application namespace? Thanks in advance!

Wow, that's an interesting one - seems as though the sharedCursorPane has
some hard requirement that the base App be mx (this isn't terribly
surprising, considering it was built with the mx components, but it's still
a bug). Can you link against the source code (provided for player 10 now!),
and change that line in sharedCursorPane :
From :
Application(mx.core.Application.application).stage.removeEventListener(Mouse
Event.MOUSE_MOVE, onMouseMove);
To :
stage.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE, onMouseMove);
and see if that works for you? I can't honestly tell why we're using the
line that was there... It's possible this was a workaround for another
issue. Anyhow, if you wouldn't mind being the guinea pig for this one, we
can get to the bottom of it.

Quiz works fine when I preview the Project, but does not send email when published. Help??

Everyday it seems to be some new problem with this Program and I am getting very frustrated. I have created a quiz and set it up so that when you get the results you click on the "Send E-mail" button. In the preview project mode this opens an email with the results and all you have to do is send it. Perfect right? I have since published this, and now when you pass the quiz and click on "Send E-mail" all I see is a yellow triangle with "Error on Page" in the lower left of my screen. Can you help me figure this out and give me some suggestions on how to fix this? I really need some way to be notified when the person has successfully completed the quiz. Thanks!

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

What do you mean the PC won't let you transfer the music? Save your entire iTunes folder (this is assuming that you have all your music stored in your iTunes folder) to an external hard drive. Connect that hard drive to your Mac. Copy the iTunes folder to your computer. Hold down the option key while launching iTunes on your Mac. Select the library you just copied when it ask you to select which library you want to open.

Be prepared to lose everything on your iPhone but it should be backed up in iTunes so you can restore from your backup.

Last night charging for around 3-4 hours only charged a dead phone by 55% then left it to charge overnight
Today the battery dropped from 6:15 am full charge to 53% at 10:38 am at time of writing this with
1 phone call out for 30 secs
1 incoming missed call,
Whatsapp fetched around 10 msgs
Email fetched around 20 ermail from 4 accounts but not viewed yet on phone
