Phone/Message/IE app failing after the update
After today's OTA update I can't open the phone/message/ie app, I then reset my phone but the updates are still there. When receiving a phone call the phone just freezes and restarts. What should I do?? Thanks.
Nevermind.. It turns out that the phone language has to be set to English...

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
You might try deleting and reinstalling the app

Has anyone else experienced a reset of their apps after the update to iOS5 on your iPad2? If so how we're you able to retrieve the information or your money back for all funds spent to advance in the game.
You could try closing all apps completely and then do a reset and see if that helps. To close all apps : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I phone camera is not working after the update
I have an iPhone 4S 16 GB, It worked perfectly under iOS 7.1.2. . . I upgraded the OS to iOS 8.0.2 about two weeks ago. ( Bad Move )
I noticed right off that my device was running a little slower, lagging, and worst of all my "Camera" App does not have an image At All ! ! !
The Flash options, HDR options, Timer options, will switch back and forth, but that is all that works, none of the bottom selections work at all,
and when you hit the front/back camera icon, it freezes /locks the options that did work. I have done a deep restore twice on the device,
restored as New Device, still no change at all on the behavior of the Camera operation. One thing I did find out though, it is a Glitch in the iOS
software, pertaining to the Cameras Operation, reason being, is that I can go into the preinstalled Game Center App on the iOS 8, click on Add Photo,
click on Take Photo, and there are my cameras, working perfectly, front & back. I have done a lot of research on this issue over the past two weeks,
Reading Apple's own Compatibility Devices which start at iPhone 4S and later for the iOS 8.0.2, But, If you go into the iPhone iOS 8.0.2 Operators Manual, go to camera section, you will see that there are several of the New functions of the Camera that are only compatible with iPhone 5 and later. Leaving the iPhone 4S not capable of executing the full capabilities of the New Camera App. I've chatted with Apple Online Chat Support for several hours two days ago, the only resolve they had was to send the device in or take it to an Apple Store and they would correct that issue "Free of Charge", even though ,my iPhone is 3 years out of warranty, because it is a Software related issue.... All I wanted to do is find a way to revert back to iOS 7.1.2, I found out very quickly, that is Impossible to do, because it violates Security Issues and Apples Terms of Agreement," Leaving them Not Responsible for any issues what so ever that occurs to your device downloading the iOS 8.0.2. . Which in my opinion, is pretty messed up. . What is the Big Deal of reverting back to any iOS you want, Apple should support every iOS version they have, not the users fault that a New iOS does not work right on their device, slowing it down, etc...I run Windows 7 on my PC, I can revert back to any OS I want, no problem at all.. . Anyways, back to iPhone issues, The other issues I got with the upgrade is that, My device will not power back on after I power it off now, I have to do a reset to get it to booted back up and running, and when I do so, there is a white halo that appears on my screen for several hours, then it will finally dissipate (no idea what that's all about), , Also, the battery life is much shorter now, had much better battery time on iOS 7.1.2 . . . Apple Support said that my Case was the first they have heard of, which surprised me.Is anyone having a solution for this????? don't say that to sell the phone or upgrade it to the next version? I want to use this phone as it was a last gift given by one important person in my life and can't throw it away, please give me a solution.

Unable to open App Store after Yosemite update
I can't open my App Store after the update, the icon either bounces for a really long time or it manages to open, but nothing is loaded or interactive.
Help!!If the above does not resolve your problem:
-You can reinstall the Yosemite
-You can wait and see if the next 10.10.1 update sorts your dilemma and run your updates manually via Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app

After the update to Android 5.0.1 on my Galaxy Note 4, my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002). I am glad it was a free app I was trying to install (I tried a couple of different ones to see if it was just a bad app and they all failed on the install. The Note 4 and the Gear S seem to be communicating okay via bluetooth (health stuff syncs, Gear S controls the music player on the note 4 Etc. )
Everything that I had installed previously on the gear S still works.
Everthing while in the gear manager seems to be working okay also. I can make changes in the Gear manager on the note 4 and they show up on the gear S. I have an app called watch styler , it let me create a new watch on the Note 4 and that showed up on the Gear S.
The only thing that seems to be not working is installing new apps.
When trying to get a new app it looks like it is working as normal , the dowload shows it is working but it errors out when it goes to install it.

My phone was recently updated to 8.1. After the update, when text messages are sent when my phone is turned off, they no longer appear when I turn the phone on. Is there something in Settings that needs to be changed?

My iPhone 4s acts like I need to plug in to iTunes and I got an error message saying it failed to download update and now the screen won't go away. USB port end on phone with arrow pointing to iTunes...

every time I try to sync my phone and restore my content after I updated my iPhone, iTunes goes through the prompts and then says "cancelling sync" at step 5. I cannot restore my apps or music!
when i try to sync my music which i have on my PC's itunes it will just not transfere on the phone. everything will sync [apps, videos, contacts] but the music will just not transfere.
and when i try to download the music from the phone's itunes store it will say "Error. Tap again to retry".
Thera are no more details i have! i have no idea why the songs will not sync and will not download! -
Why are my iphone4 apps crashing after the ios6 update?
I was very happy with the iPhone4 and it's performance until the iOS6 update. After the update, apps began crashing on my phone. Not just third party apps, Apple apps included. I went to the Genius Bar (very nice and attempted to help). After 3 hours spent trying to fix my phone, the determination was that I had a hardware issue. For $150, they replaced my iPhone4 with a brand new iPhone4. I then updated the software on the new phone to iOS6. After doing that, the phone developed the same problem as the old phone. It will crash in 3rd party and Apple apps. It will then work fine for hours at a time. There seems to be no pattern to the events. It doesn't matter whether I am on wifi or using 3g. I have restored the new phone after the problems started on it and they returned. Is anyone else having these problems? Is this some sort of virus? Does anyone know how to fix it? Failing that, does anyone know how I can get the old software back?
Here is what I did & my phone now works fine:
Ok. I went back to the apple store. They reloaded the IOS6 software from a computer they knew had a good version of the software and treated the phone as if it was a new phone. We did not back it up from my pervious backups. I then reloaded all the apps from the app store and not my computer. My phone is working great now. It appears I had a corrupted copy of the IOS 6 or a corrupted app that was causing the problem and it syncing just fine without the problem returning. -
After the update I am unable to log in to get iMessages. It says "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". My phone is connected to Wi-fi. What should I do?

Hello guys,
After the update to iOS 8 the power button of my iPhone (iPhone 5 16gb) starts to fail and before the update it was working properly.
I'm a certified iOS developer and this same situation occurred when i tried to install the iOS 8 beta 2 on the same iPhone i mentioned above, but i had to reinstall the iOS 7.1 just a few days later and the button starts to work normally again.
Any thoughts about this?Have you checked to see if your phone is eligible for the Power button replacement?

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset
