Phone no longer seen by PC (Xpressmusic 5530)

I just updated the Nokia Updater software after being prompted to do so, and now my PC doesn't recognise my phone (xpressmusic 5530) when I plug it in.
Windows asks for software, but the only disc I received with the phone was the Ovi Suite, which does nothing to (re) install what's needed for the phone. When I plug the phone into the USB the phone itself asks which connection I want (PC Suite / Mass storage etc) but the PC now doesn't recognise it.
Can anyone help?

Plug it to another USB port.
Otherwise;
Uninstall NSU, Clean windows registry (CCleaner) restart PC, Download NSU latest version, install and see if it finds phone

Can't recover 3GS after IOS5 upgrade attempt - phone no longer seen in iTunes

Tried upgrade on 3GS to IOS5, got msg that iTunes detected phone in recovery mode and I must restore. iTunes no longer sees the phone so restore doesn't work. Win XP sees the phone driver when I connect the phone, and driver says it is working properly. Have went through the entire support topic "iPhone not appearing in iTunes" and found no problem. Rebooted computer 3 times and tried all USB ports - iTunes still doesn't see the phone. Any ideas on how to recover this phone?

my problem occurred when I upgraded to IOS5 on my iPhone 4. I received an unable to sync message that indicated that there was no space left on my iPhone; and a "Other" Capacity indicator appeared on the bottom of the iPhone device sync screen (in yellow color) and noted an overage of 12GB! Ofcourse, prior to the upgrade I actually had 6GB free on my 32GB iPhone. So, there is a bug. The following link indicates a few solutions and hopefully it will answer your concern. However, I had to restore as the first two solutions didn't work. Furthermore, about 3.3GB of "Other" remains while I synced up. Clearly, the problem has not been resolved. Apple owes me and you community members a patch to fix this bug. Basically, I have spent about two hours fixing this and I still cannot use 3.3GB of my iPhone space.

My phone started acting up and I noticed my text messages were not being sent. So I turned my iphone off. Thank you so much for your response. I had these photos backed up on iCloud but, had I not, its good to have an alternate solution as the one you suggested. Actually, I went to the Apple store today and yes, you are absolutely correct Restoring in iTunes will result in permanent loss of photos unless backed up somewhere such as iCloud or other solution. Well, what they did was restore the phone in itunes ( I did not have iTunes downloaded to my computer which is why it did not work when I went to do it myself, I needed to go to the iTunes site and go to the download iTunes button because my windows based HP laptop does not come with itunes already downloaded). This retoration process took a while and I was forced to upgrade to the latest 7.1 iOS software which I was not too happy about -sometimes you like the way things work now :-) Anyhow, they said this restoration request happens as a result of a software update (which I was NOT in progress of an update or doing an update) or sometimes when you remove the power cable too quickly from the iphone (which I do not recall doing this either but...). Since I had backed up on iCloud all of the photos were downloaded back on my iphone 4s. Best of all was that my phone was back up and runnning and there was NO CHARGE at the apple store for this service of restoring my phone. Well, I just wanted to share the results and I appreciate all the responses and support I received. Thank you kindly.

I also had issues with my 4S. I just got the 5S and can't get it to read my phone. It did it once and I was able to download my music, but can't get my ringtones and i have 25 ringtones that I can no longer get to after paying for them!!! Please HELP. It no longer sees my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled I Tunes mltiple times.

IP Phone No Longer Working with FiOS

For almost 5 years, we had a Mitel 5020 IP Phone Handest that we used for working from home. The phone plugged directly into a 4 port Netgear router which in turn was connected to a Linksys Cable modem. Comcast was the ISP. The phone worked perfectly in connecting with the remote PBX.
We moved to VZN FiOS one month ago and the phone has not worked since the new service was installed. We followed the reset instructions for the phone and even returned it to the home office for testing. The phone work perfectly in the office.
The company telecom/IT support is hit & miss: they returned the handset to us and kinda left us on our own to resolve the problem.
We have a Westell Ultraline Series 3 9100EM router now. The phone has been connected directly to the back of the router via ethernet cable. I can ping the phone and ping the PBX from the router; but the PBX and phone no longer connect (although IT states that the PBX server sees the device).
Is this a port forwarding issue? If not, what other router settings should I check?
I really enjoy the FiOS speed and the rest of the networked devices have all worked flawlessly since the conversion - even a flakey print server.
Any thoughts?

HT1435 My Ipod Shuffle no longer seen by PC or Itunes

After the latest Itunes update, my IPOD Shuffle is no longer seen by PC or Itunes. I cannot change or modifly playlists. Ipod still takes a charge.

If you have not since having this problem, be sure to restart your PC. You should also do this to reset the shuffle

If that does not help, you can try shutting down the PC and disconnecting all USB devices, including any hub. Start up with only a standard USB keyboard and mouse connected (if normally used). Run iTunes and connect shuffle to a direct USB port. See if there is any difference in connectivity.

Apple TV (1st Gen) no longer seen in device list in iTunes 10.4. I can see it in the multiple speaker list and I can connect to it that way, it is not seen as a device in order for me to sync content. Any ideas?

1.) rebooting my network
2.) rebooing my AppleTV
3.) Running diagnostics on my AppleTV (everything is working 'fine.')
4.) Rebooting iTunes
5.) Rebooing my computer

Check the firewall allows access for iTunes, try disabling the firewall if necessary. Try restarting the router.
Also try de/re connecting your iTunes library from your Apple TV; disconnect from the Apple TV (Settings/Computers/Your_Library) and reconnect again (Settings/Computers/Connect_to_iTunes) - You will need to re-sync previously synced content.

The only way I can access the internet is through my wi-fi. My Android Galaxy S5 has locked up and gone into endless loading while trying to update to the Kitkat update. I have set it back to factory settings and tried again and it has locked up again. My phone no longer works. What else can I do?

Oh goodness,SLEEPER888. We wish you didn't have this problem while trying to complete this update.You have done quite a bit of troubleshooting on your own. If the phone update does not take, we would need to replace it with the warranty. Is it still locked up?

It downloaded all my contacts, photo's with no problem. I called the number they gave me from my old phone and then turned it off. I then put the sim card in and charged the phone. I followed all the setup steps and no I cannot send any text or make any phone calls. I get a message that they cannot authenticate my phone to dial #8899 but get the same message.
