Phone not loading up

my phone did an up date today, and now my phone will turn on but it will not go passes the palm screen it just sits on this screen no matter what i try it will not work, can anyone help me please.

There are a few troubleshooting steps to take from here:
First, try restarting your phone by holding down the power button and toggling the ringer mute switch (next to the power button) back and forth 3 times. Then let go of the power button. Within 3-4 seconds, the screen will turn off, and the Palm logo will come back.
If the logo does not start flashing or 'pulsing', then remove the battery, wait approximately 5 minutes, replace the battery and turn the phone back on.
If you're still stuck on the logo, at that point you would need to download and run the webOS doctor from www.palm.com/rom . We'll need to put your phone into Recovery Mode to have the doctor see it, so once the program is downloaded and it asks you to connect your device, DO NOT YET.
First, plug your USB cable into the AC charger and connect it to an outlet (but not the phone yet). Then, remove the battery again, press and hold the volume down button, reinsert the battery and plug in the USB cable. You should see a large USB icon taking up the entire screen of your Pre.
Now you can hook the USB cable from your device to the PC. Some drivers will install, that's OK, and the Next button on the webOS doctor will light up eventually.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a z10, the night I took an update (Fido), is the very same night my son's Z10 died (Koodo). It will not load and just shuts down after BB screen. My sons phone is about 12 months old. It seems like these phones are now disposable, I am worried because mine is coming up to the 12 month anniversary.

@DENNY19700 , since you have a backup, use this process outlined in my link to reload the OS.
You will need to know your Z10 model number, found on the white stick on under the battery, such as STL100-x

Skype phone not loading and displaying contacts.

Hi All,
I have a Skype cordless phone that has the latest firmware installed. My proble is that it now no longer loads and displays any of my contacts. I can see my contacts using the PC client but not on the Skype phone. All the other Skype phone funstions continue to work. Can anyone please help.

I have a similar issue with a new RTX4088 phone, as more than 20 online contacts show in my skype PC client, while only 3 or 5 of these show as online on the 4088 handset.
The software version show as 0172 / 11.02.2014 / rtx4088 lp vo172...

I was just wondering if anyone with a Windows phone is having problems loading the mobile site version of a Muse site when viewed on the phone? or if there is a known bug or incompatability?

Have you turned off background data? If so, try turning it on and see if that helps.

Hi, Just put phone in the recovery mode and restore to the factory settings. It should work.

Sorry, but there is no solution. As stated in the system requirements, V1 Golf requires iOS 4.3 or later, and your 3G iPhone will support only up to iOS 4.2.1. So the app is not going to run on your iPhone. You can try contacting the iTunes Store, explaining the issue, and ask if they can grant a refund. They're not obigated to do so, but in some cases they've been generous.

I've also had the same issues, after upgrading to IOS 6.0, the apps in my iPhone 4 were crashing and the battery life run out very fast.
The only solution worked for me was to remove all mail accounts (Exchange/Gmail) from my iPhone (in settings) and then add them back.
The crashing were stopped! also the battery was back to normal.
I found the solution by first looking at the crash logs (in IOS 6). you can find them at Settings -> General -> About (at the bottom of the About menu you will find the option that opens the logs).
There i saw many logs about Low Memory crash. 99% of the logs were pointed that the largest process (use the most memory) during the crashes is "dataaccessd".
I search in the web and found that this process is a deamon process that reponsible the Mail accounts (like Exchange/Gmail) and contancts list.
I've installed the app "System Status - activity monitor" which shows important system info like CPU usage, Memory usage and running processes.
Before apply my solution (deleting the mail accounts) i saw that the CPU usage was very high which consume the battery very fast. Also i saw that the memory (RAM) was run out.. which probably what cause the crashing..
After deleting the mail accounts (at Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars) i check again with the System Status app, and saw that the memory and CPU were back to normal.
Adding the mail accounts back, still everything work ok

There are some mobile websites that do not load correctly on my Android phone in firefox.

It is not that big of an inconvience since I can load the desktop version and that works fine, but I thought you could take a look at the site and see what the issue is. I have a SGS3 running Android 4.1.1 and Firefox 18. On the mobile site all I get is the title header and a blank page. The page does show up in chrome correctly.

May be the site don't have the Mobile version of their website.

Do you have a seperate AP providing your wireless or are you using the wireless built into the AT&T router? If seperate, you will need to re-configure the AP to the new equipment AT&T sent you.

I just got my new phone after making an insurance claim, and i synced my google account yet my backed up contacts will not load on my phone. I really dont want to go in to the store and have them move them all over. Can anyone give me some things to try?

Hi there HeatherMO! The first thing I recommend you try when syncing your contacts is to make sure that Google/Gmail has been set to be the default backup client. Go into Contacts> Menu> More> Settings> Contacts Storage. Make sure the green button is next to Google. If you've tried this but it hasn't worked, please let me know. Thanks!

Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

How to delete an Update for an App that is not loaded on phone?

I have an App Update for an application that is not (and has never been - to my knowledge) loaded on my phone!
How do I get rid of this update?
OR should I install it, or try to install and then delete the App. (if it loads).
This update does NOT show on iTunes site when the phone is connected. (not sure if it would show updates anyway).
It's a casino games application - so if I install and delete will I get inundated with unwanted gaming Apps?
And why should I get an update for an App that is not loaded - is this a software glitch, or just speculation by the writers to get some money????
This phone was pre-owned by family member, and all the updates to date have been for Apps that I have downloaded, during the year or so of my use.

Remove a song that’s been downloaded. Swipe left, then tap Delete. The song is removed from iPhone, but remains available from iCloud.
View only music that’s downloaded. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. Under Show All, turn off Music.
