Phone not working. Perhaps one for the Mods)

I have tried all the usual things to no avail.
I really need the phone line to be working A.S.A.P as there is a careline fitted for emergency 24 hours a day, as my wife as well as being an amputee is prone to Epilepsy and falling and can get help at the press of a button or by the automatic fall detector.
I have completed the forms for priority repair, but this no doubt will take a little time to come in to effect.
I have reported the fault on-line and have been allocated a VOL number for the repair.
Is there any way this can be given priority under theses circumstances?
To enable the free call diversion do I just call 150 on my mobile or is there a different number?
Any help is appreciated.

  • Phone not working after NSU for E 71

    Nokia e 71...
    NSU gave me an error during the firmware update process and told me not to unplug it and wait till the continue button is available (was greyed out). Phone restarted a couple of times, first went to a white screen, then white screen with the new fw # written on top followed my something else (forgot) then by nokia. Then it went black and it kept making the usb disconnect, connect sound on my pc.
    I left it like that for about a bit then continue was available so i pressed it and all it did was restart the NSU and it started searching for the phone and it couldn't find it.
    now if plug the device into usb and i press the power button once, it will make the usb connect sound, then usb disconnect about 5 secs later. If i hold the power button, same thing but then about 10-15secs later the screen will light up but stay grey/black, it'll do that for about 20 secs then off

    Try to hard format your mobile. For that, remove your memory card from your mobile. Now press and hold this 3 key "green call key, * and 3" together and switch on your mobile. Press and hold down that 3 button till country insertion dialogue appear. If this now start your mobile then now you can't do anything at home. Go to your nearest Nokia Service Center and give them your mobile. They will repair your mobile. If your mobile is in warranty then repairing will be free else you have to pay some money. Format your memory card also once your mobile works in good condition.

  • Listener not working in one of the servers of the Standby site

    Hello,
    The system is a RAC with two servers working as Primary site, and two servers working as Standby site.
    Both servers of the Primary site are sending redo logs to one of the servers of the Standby site. The other server of the Standby site is not receiving any redo log.
    I have checked the listener.ora and the tnsnames.ora files of the server that is not receiving and it is well configured comparing it with the server that is receiving the redo logs.
    If I check the status of the listener: lsnrctl status listener_<node name>
    Both of the Standby servers look fine.
    But if I connect directly to the database...
    In the 1st server of the Standby, the IP appears:
    SQL> show parameter listener
    NAME TYPE VALUE
    local_listener string (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)(PORT = xxxx))
    remote_listener string LISTENERS_DB
    Nevertheless, in the second server of the Standby site, the one that is not receiving the redo logs, the IP does not appear:
    SQL> show parameter listener
    NAME TYPE VALUE
    local_listener string (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = )(PORT = xxxx))
    remote_listener string LISTENERS_DB
    I have found the following to reload the listener:
    Oracle# lsnrctl reload listener_`hostname`
    Oracle# lsnrctl reload listener_standby
    Has anyone tried this? Did it work? It can be run without affecting the sytem, Dataguard, replication..., right?

    If I see the status of the listener_standby in the second server of the Standby site, the one that it is not receiving redo logs, it looks like it is fine. Why?

  • Search does not work in one of the site collections

    The Search in one of the site collections in my extranet sites is not working. When I search it the does return any results, it's not finding anything. I went to search just the documents library it does not work as well. I didn't find any errors in the
    log or event viewer. All other site collections the search work fine. There is no exclusion in the search rule. The site collection is set as searchable. The site has no crawlog log.  
    Any help?

    No. I added pdf.  The site collections is not being crawled it doesn't exist in any of these tables .msscrawlhistory

    My headphone stopped working properly on one of the channels. It came along with my iPhone4S bought about 5 months back. My question, Is my headphone also covered under 1 year warranty. Has anyone had similar problems and got their unit replaced?

  • 2 iPhones, 2 iClouds, 1 iTunes apps not working on one of the phones.

    My girlfriend has an iphone which we share my computer's music and iTunes to backup data and sync our apps but after the last sync and OS update all her apps aren't launching on her iPhone or at least the ones that she bought with her iTunes account.  Also when connecting to the computer the iPhone no longer appears in iTunes.

    Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

    Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update.     The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
    It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
    I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
    We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.

    If you double tap the home button, and then swipe your finger to the right, make sure you DO NOT have the Lock Orientation button enabled.
    You know it is disabled if there is no padlock in the middle of the icon.

    That is the way it works. It designed to do that.
    In addition to everything else you have to this other person's computer you would have to move your complete iTunes library over also. Only then will it recognize youriTouch.
