There is no way to have phone support in connexion with CS2. For matters related to serial numbers

How do I change the phone number where sms message is sent to activate Keychain? It keeps sendingit to an old phone #, and is most frustrating!
System preferences > iCloud > Keychain > options.

my imessages are gone. i cant activate them now. When i go into send and recieve its only my e-mail address thats ticked and not my phone number ticked also. When i sign in with my apple ID it is ticked there. can anyone help me please.
Hi,
Go to the iPhone
GO to Settings > Messages
Is the iPhone Number ticked to be enabled (It will be greyed out and not editable but should be On)
If it is Off (Unticked remove the Apple ID)
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes.
Go back to Settings Messages and make sure the Message app Is Enabled overall.
Check the iPhone Number is verifying.
When Completed test by sending an iMessage to your Apple ID (Mac)
If that works add back the Apple ID to the iPhone's Settings.
Restart the Mac App and Accept the op ups that appear as to what the iPhone is using.

Yes. You don't get phone service unless you have a SIM card from your carrier.

Same thing here. I love how they include this nice and easy to follow guide in the box and the KEY step for activation (the phone call) is a total fail. To verizon: the automated just says Terms and Conditions have been accepted for this number. Press 1 to enter another phone number in the order. Well, I HAD NO other phone number in my order. The message gives no other options. She repeats the same line 3 more times and after the 3rd time, it says please hold while we transfer you, call may be monitored etc. Guess what, its 2 am ET and customer service is closed?
Do you guys expect thousands of iphone customers to speak to a CSR just to activate? Why not just let us do it online? I have activated plenty of phones even LTE phones, online. Now I'm going to have to compete with the other 30,000 people who ran into this same problem overnight tomorrow on the phone.... -

I want to buy an iphone 4S with my upgrade through AT&T and give it to my friend. Will she be able to activate it through her own itunes account with her phone number and AT&T account, or will the phone somehow be linked to my account and phone number when I upgrade so that no one else can activate it? I plan to purchase it through the AT&T website so it will be delivered to my home.
Clean out the charging port--make sure there's no dust or debris in there. If that fails to solve the issue, bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.

HT5538 Can't activate iMessage on my iPhone 5S phone number
I recently bought an iPhone 5S about two weeks ago and I have been unable to activate iMessage for my phone number on it. I believe I have tried every troubleshoot step without success. When trying to activate iMessage I get several SMS's telling me this number received my message, but it never gets activated. Though it gets activated for my every single email address. I had it activated for my previous iPhone 4. And it's activated on my iPad 2 and MacBook Pro. Any ideas why is this happening on my iPhone 5S?
PD: My sister is also having the same activation issue on her iPhone 5S. This also happens to FaceTime activation

Contact verizon, and make sure that your account includes SMS messaging. SMS is required to activate your phone number for iMessage and Facetime.

My phone number won't show up when I activate iMessage on my iPad 4. It works fine on my iphone 4s but when I active it only my emails show up and no phone number. I tried turning iMessage on and off, rebooting, hard reboot, signing in and out of my Apple ID but nothing seems to work! Any suggestions?
You are doing all of the right things. Just keep trying. I never owned an iPhone until last week, and I was having fits getting my phone number to appear in my settings. I signed out of Messages and FaceTime on my iPhone and my iPad and just kept trying the whole cycle over and over until it worked. It took about 4 or 5 tries before it finally worked.
Sign out of both apps on the phone and the iPad, then start with the phone and sign in again on that device first, then try on the iPad again -

Long story: My son broke his iphone 4 screen through repeated droppings. But my wife upgraded from her iphone 4 to the 5, and wants to give said son her unblemished 4. He has saved to icloud and we have deleted all the content and restored settings on wife's iphone 4. So on the unbroken iphone 4 all of the son's contents, contacts, app, etc., are there, but how do I activate the phone with his number? so he can receive calls/ texts?
Insert the active SIM card for that phone number and connect the iphone to itunes.
