Phone numbers aren't displaying correctly

Hello everyone,
we've got the problem that contact names from internal colleagues aren't displaying when they are calling from external (via mobile phone) - only the telephone number is shown. After you accept the call, then the name will be resolved and you see who is
calling.
But this is not happening all the time, sometimes the name of the colleague is shown before you accept the call.
Further information:
+ Mobile phone information are stored in AD (format E.164 -> example +49 (999) 99999
+ Lync Server 2010, OS Windows Server 2008 R2
+ Clients - Lync 2010 x64/ Lync 2013 x64
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening or what the problem is?

Hi,
1. Please check the address book sync status by running the following cmdlet:
Get-CsAddressBookConfiguration, make sure the sync of address book update to the latest status.
2. Please delete user profile with the following path to test the issue:
<user profile>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\
3. Please update Lync client to the latest version.

My spotcolors aren't displaying correctly. (Different from the swatch)

I am having an issue that has just randomly happened where when I want to make a colour a certain spot colour from my swatch library fill a certain shape it DOESNT CHANGE the colour yet it SAYS IT IS ANOTHER COLOUR when I do a separations preview. I'll try to explain.
The thing is is that it works to be changed to any other colour in my swatch library than the one I want it to be changed to. And this issue is only happening to ONE swatch in particular that I have not made any alterations to, and that has always worked perfectly. If I create a new document it will display correctly, but when I paste the shape into another document that has the same exact settings and spot colours it pasts as a different colour. (like the same as Top Black 2)
I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH TOP BLACK 1 (these spot colours have not changed and I've always used them.)
My shapes are wayyyyy too much to remake in the new document- so I have to copy and paste many layers.
I'm sorry if this seems confusing I made up some pictures. I am just using circles to show you my problem.
Below is when I have made a new document from the same template I use and have always used. The spot colours from my library are seen here in their proper colours. (by the way I am not working in greyscale I still use actual colours. My document is CMYK)
SO this happens vice versa if I paste shape TOP BLACK 1 from an old document into a new or from a new document to an older one.
Below You now see what I have copied from my brand new document (above) and have pasted it into my previous document and as you can see, my TOP BLACK 1 has now darkened now displaying as my Top Black 2.(or at least close to it) I CAN change the TOP BLACK 1 shape into any other colour, for example my working pink colour. But when I click it to be Top Black 1 it still stays the way it is shown here. I think you can notice that what TOP BLACK 1 is now is way darker than the Grey it's supposed to be in my library on the right. Circle 3 and 4 have correctly copied and pasted in the correct colour.
Heres the other strange thing too. If I click and hold my TOP BLACK 1 swatch in my library (as seen above) and drag it to my main illustrator swatch library, it displays darker. The pink arrow shows the swatch that it has turned into. I am so confused of what it is doing.
When I turn on my separations preview and turn off top black 1 all that i have that is TOP BLACK 1 disappears... so it is SEPARATING correctly its just not displaying on my screen as the correct colour.
Let me know if there is anything else to explain. I have restarted my computer, reset launch settings etc. I only found one forum where a person has the same problem and it had a few suggestions of the appearance panel settings but none of that has worked. I have the most updated Illustrator CC

1 appears to be the one that is off the most.
2 is slightly off
You may have an extra fill assigned at the group level that is overiding the fill at the Path level. Doubleclick on the word Contents in your appearance palette to get to the path level. To fix you can delete the fill at the group level, or simply ungroup to break that attribute.
As Larry mentioned, posting the file is the best way to get an answer to this one.
If you cannot post the file, we will need to know what color document color mode, and the color type and values.
You can also check this setting.

Google Calendar tasks aren't displaying correctly

When I display the Google Calendar the task box to the right of the display shows the task details vertically - one letter on each line. The calendar displays correctly on other browsers.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

My nav styles aren't displaying correctly when viewing my blog on a tablet.

Hi Everyone
If anyone can let me know why the navbar on my blog dor2dor.com/blog isn't displaying corectly when i view this on a tablet or phone I would be much apreciative.
If you look a the site it only seems to be giving the nav bar a width of 320px where as when you view this on a normal PC it display fine. Also the main website dor2dor.com displays fine on the tablet & phone so im guessing its something to do with wordpress.
Any help would be greatly received as its really buggin me.

Muse phone site doesn't display correctly when viewed on mobile device, any advice to fix this?

It's definitely loading the mobile version. select everything on the page to check that you haven't left any objects on the right hand side of the page, or that any widgets' bounding areas haven't expanded out too far - this often happens when you move components around.

Fonts aren't displaying correctly

Occasionally, I see text rendered in mashed up mathematical fractions instead of the copy that should be there. It's only certain words or sentences rather than the whole page... say in Safari on certain web pages. But today, I was buying an iTunes gift certificate and after signing in, they show you the certificate to approve before actually buying it. The content on the certificate that should have shown my recipient, message and the actual purchasing code was illegible. (See attached screen grabs.)
I've looked in the preferences to see if there was a font setting I could change, but found no way to even identify the font the app is using, much less change it. Another discussion from 2005 mentioned dumping the font cache from the user library and restarting, but there was no file there that matched the name they suggested, so I just tried restarting my machine... but still have the same result from iTunes.
Did a system font get corrupted? Any ideas?

My system is inserting the "Lastresort" font. I can see it's a latin block, but I can't enlarge the image enough to discern the codes in the borders. Does this mean a system font has been disabled or deleted some how?

Phone Numbers in BI Publisher report woes

Hi,
I am having the following issue in BI Publisher reports, with phone numbers.
Essentially what happens is that BI Publisher displays the phone number with a string of zeros after it (which is in fact the value stored in the Siebel database).
I wondered if there is a way round this problem?
I'll include some information below about how Siebel handles phone numbers.
How Siebel Handles Phone Numbers:
1) There is List of Values with Type PHONE_FORMAT.
Inside the LOV's is a string of zeros (0) a different number/with/without spaces/ etc defined for each country.
The 'Order' column of the LOV contains the country code.
Next, there is two different scenarios about what will happen to the phone numbers you enter in Siebel:
1) You enter the phone number EXACTLY as specified in the PHONE_FORMAT LOV.
Result:
UI Display:
In the Siebel UI the phone number will be displayed correctly.
For the Object Manager you entered it in, the country code would be trimmed off the front if you entered it.
For other Object Managers, the phone number would be displayed e.g. with +44 before.
Database Level:
The phone number is stored WITHOUT additional zeros after.
BIP report based on the field:
THe BIP report always displays the database value (in this case without zeros).
2) You enter the phone number DIFFERENTLY to as specified in PHONE_FORMAT LOV.
Result:
UI Display:
In the Siebel UI the phone number will be displayed correctly.
For the Object Manager you entered it in, the country code would be trimmed off the front if you entered it.
For other Object Managers, the phone number would be displayed e.g. with +44 before.
Database Level:
The phone number is stored WITH additional zeros after (I guess they represent the formatting in some way).
BIP report based on the field:

Finally, just to say we work across the whole of Europe, Middle East and Africa which includes a great many different countries.
Each of these countries can have different length phone numbers, and there may be cases were a country has more than 1 number of digits in a phone number.
(So trimming the number is not very helpful)
Does anyone have any experience of getting BI Publisher to display phone numbers 'correctly' or 'how they are displayed in the Siebel UI?'
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS along with BI Publisher.
Is the issue with all reports or specific one(s) only?

HTML Form Not Displaying Correctly in Outlook 2010 (Exchange 2013)

I have recently migrated to Exchange 2013. Clients are still using Outlook 2010. There is an application that automatically sends an HTML form by email for the users to fill in. The form consists of radio buttons, text areas and drop down list. However,
in Outlook 2010, the form is not rendered properly.
When I clicked the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" link, the email is opened in
IE and the form is displayed correctly.
I also tried opening the same email in other clients, such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail Client and in mobile phones - the form is displayed correctly. I wonder
why it fails to do so in Outlook 2010. The user mentioned that this does not happen in Outlook 2003 and prior to migration (I used Exchange 2010 previously). I have also tried using OWA, but the form does not display correctly
Any help?

Outlook 2007 or newer use Microsoft Word for their HTML engine.
You can refer this page http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ shows
many things that do not work in different clients.I think Someone needs to re-code
the HTML form to make it work in the current versions of Outlook. You can try formatting with text and HTML and see the results.

UTF-8 not displaying correctly in terminal

I'm installing Arch for the first time, and it's going fairly well but one thing that's still bugging me is that UTF-8 characters aren't displaying correctly in the terminal. I seem to be having exactly the same problem described in this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=161330 Namely, midnight commander looks like this:

It displays correctly when I connect to it via SSH from my other machine, but not on the machine's own display. Using the setfont command to set the font to the same the one I am already using fixes it temporarily, but the characters are displayed incorrectly again after a reboot. I ran through all the help given in the thread I linked to but the problem is still happening.

I tried running "setfont ter-116b" but apparently I don't have that font installed. In any case, Lat2-Terminus16 it is the font recommended in the beginner's guide so I don't see why it shouldn't work. The font itself can't be the problem because if I run
setfont Lat2-Terminus16
then everything displays correctly. Therefore I can only guess that either the setfont command does something that doesn't happen in the boot process, or my current configuration means that something else overwrites the console map settings during boot. However, apart from using en_GB locale and UK keymap I've been following the beginner's guide to the letter, so I don't understand what the problem is. I only added the FONT_MAP setting to vconsole.conf to try to fix this issue but all the settings I've changed it to (including removing it completely as per the beginner's guide) don't seem to make any difference.

How to put in alphabetical order the favorite phone numbers?

My favourite phone numbers aren't in alphabetical order! Could I get a solution for this problem? Could someone help me?

This is really lame. The favorites list should automatically be sorted by something other than when it was added to the list. In my old Android OS it was sorted by contact name. Android has many other problems and I like my new iPhone but this makes searching for a contact in this list more difficult and sorting manually entry by entry is not an adequate answer to the issue.

"My Ebay" page is not displaying correctly.

When I sign into "my Ebay" page with Mozilla the sign in process all looks the same but once in my account it displays just a plain white background and all my links aren't displayed correctly, I think it might be because I did a disk cleanup/registry sortout with cc cleaner. Please help?

Outlook contact "other" phone numbers not syncing.

It seems when I have multiple phone numbers in an Outlook contact other than work, home, mobile, and other; these phone numbers aren't syncing to the iphone. These are numbers that, in Outlook, you have to click on the field to select and see the other number.
For instance, say I have a contact with a work, home, mobile, and other phone number. In Outlook, I want to add a Home 2 phone number. So I click next to the home field in Outlook and select "Home 2" and then enter a number. Now I have both numbers stored in Outlook, Home and Home 2, albiet I have to toggle between the two to see them.
These are Exchange activesync accounts and I have replicated this with both Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010. Outlook 2010 is the other side of the equation.
Home 2 doesn't come over to the iPhone. And it not just "Home 2", that was used as an example. It's essentially, it seems, any numbers that you add beyond the four fields available in the Outlook contact. I would really be surprised if it wasn't capable of syncing this. Am I missing something? Anyone else having the issue or successfully dealing with it? TIA.

I saw that post and i had to reply for it.
A little-great-working solution for that is to run those 3 lines (one line at a time) on powershell and all the "Other" lable contacts will change to "Mobile" label and here you go, like a magic - all contacts phone numbers are now visible on the phone again.
(Drop the 1. 2. 3. from the lines of course)

Why does it take forever for Verizon to display phone numbers when you check the usage minutes from a mobile phone. Most of the time they won't appear for 24 hrs.

Many factors influence this, as your use your cell phone, the information goes through several cell sites and even networks. These then, transmit your cellular usage through switching center, which has to be compiled entirely before being displayed.

E52 does not correctly recognize phone numbers.

I have two contacts with the following (example) phone numbers in the address book: +48506123456 and +48606123456. They differ with only one digit, but the phone cannot recognize them and cannot display correct contact name while ringing.
Is there any solution?

Hi.
Both contact have only one number. But it seems, that phone cannot differ the number +48506123456 of contact1 from number +48606123456 of contact2.
Therefore, when one of this contact ringing, I see only the number instead of contact name. In addition, when I remove one of the contacts, regardless whose one ringing, I see left one.
It looks like number +48506123456 and +48606123456 are the same for phone (last six digit was changed for privacy).
