Phone recognized, but no connection available.

I am using Windows 2003 and PC Suite 7.1.60.0 and BT connection.
When I boot Windows and start PC Suite it recognizes my phone just fine.
Then when I move the phone away from the PC the BT connection breaks - and when I return the phone does not reconnect. I restart PC Suite - PC Suite finds my phone - but the phone does not register with PC Suite. Only a Windows reboot helps.
Any ideas?

you may have to get your software re-flashed by the nokia care center. it could be that the phone is not going in to pcsuite mode just using bluetooth. so a re-flash may just kick it in to the right mode when you make a connection...if you catch my drift.

Apple TV recognized but wont connect

I recently switched from verizon (which worked fine) to Roadrunner. Modem is Ubee # u10c022.00. When turning on Apple tv my modem is recognized. It shows a wi-fi address and also signal strength. But upon trying to set it up and putting in the password it tells me there was a problem connecting to the network and the password is not correct. Try again or reset your password. (-100) Any suggestions?

Elitepad 900 G1 ( Windows 10): WiFi driver installed, but "no connection available".

Nor does it show up in Network Adapters. Upgraded to Windows 10, works great, other than I have no way of connecting to the internet, which is kind of a bummer. I've tried re-installing the Win8.1 drivers, but no dice. Any help would be much appreciated.

Now at home it wont receive wifi. It picks up the signal which shows in phones display but cant connect to the internet. Computers and ipod all working fine so I assume it must be a problem with the phone.
Have checked that wifi is turned on and tried resetting phone to no avail

From your description, it sounds like you may have been using the SMS feature of Continuity in iOS 8. If this is the case and it has somehow become misconfigured after a recent change, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following articles helpful:

HT4623 My iPhone is locked with the connect to iTunes logo on screen. I have connected and trying to restore but it is not working. I have turned it on and off but to no avail.

This has happened doing the latest software update. I think I accidentally deleted iTunes before doing the latest update in trying to make room on the phone when it came up with limited space.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content.

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, there is a hardware problem.

I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
Latest revision of firefox.
After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.

This came from another thread, but worked for me. Problem is with newest iTunes 4.62. Unistall iTunes, as well as its helper programs (Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Divice Support, and Apple Software Update). Reboot, and reinstall iTunes. It will reinstall all the other ones and you should be able to connect your nano. Good luck.
