Phone requesting to be restored but can't unlock!

My phone lost coverege became stuck on the apple icon screen, then a few hrs later requested that it be restored and attached to iTunes in order to do this.BUT.... my laptop can't communicate with it as it tells me that the phone is locked by a pin code (which it is) but there is no pincode screen on the phone to unlock it! So I am stuck with a phone requesting to be restored and a laptop requesting that i unlock the phone.....and a phone that won't give me the option of unlocking it. Any ideas?

Yes all contacts checked and getting pop up message that says "your contacts, calendars,& bookmarks are being synced with ICloud over the air, so it isn't necessary to synch these items using itunes. icloud sync can be configured using your devices mail, contacts & calendar settings".
I have that setting as referenced above and only contacts showing are the 9 contacts I renetered manually today after losing all 3oo contacts. I then restored my iphone back to orinail and still no contacts. Please help

If your phone is in recovery mode, you've already lost ALL of the data on the phone. Your only choice now is to restore it from your most recent backup. You follow this by syncing your content back to your phone. Any data, on your phone, not backed up or in supported applications on your computer, is gone. iTunes content you can re-download for free.

Connect your iPhone to your computer. Tp your pc should recognize your iPhone as a camera. Use what ever application you have on the pc to transfer files from a camera to your computer.

You forgot the passcode? Restore the iphone.
Carrier unlock? ONLY Sprint cna unlock it and they will only do so for foreign carriers. Contact them and see if you qualify.
Something else? Please explain

If you don't know the passcode you'll have to force it into recovery mode to restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808. Then restore it to an existing backup, if you have one.

My iphone 4 isn not responding the screen is just showing a usb lead and the itunes symbol. When i plug it into my desktop mac and link it to itunes ,itunes is telling me the phone is in a restore mode .can i get it to respond without restoring ?

I put incorrect passcode to unlock my iphone and it disabled my phone, instructions say to restore but when I try to i get error msg saying to turn off the find my iphone app in order to restore, how can i do that w/o being able to get into my phone ???

The only way is to login to iCloud with your computer browser and wipe the iPhone.
If you can't then you have a brick, Apple won't help and AL cannot be bypass.

That is almost always because the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier.

I have run into problems with my iPhone 4. I hadn't done an update for a while so decided to get my itunes and iphone 4 up to date. I downloaded all the latest versions. However now non of my third party apps work and my largest one has vanished. I try and open them and they flash up and then close again. I thought the easiest thing to do was to restore so I tried to syn my apps onto itunes so I wouldn't loose them. However it won't let me sync the apps onto iTunes. It ill allow me to syn the old version when I just started but since then I have bought a dozen other apps. Can anyone help. thanks

I had all of my apps and music stored in iTunes, I updated to the newest 9.2 iTunes and did a 4.0 update to my iPhone 3G all the while not noticing that EVERYTHING IN iTUNES was GONE. When I got done updating my iPhone it was late so i went to bed... Next day came back to sync everything and thats when I saw it was all gone...

did what the link said and NOW I have all my 6K+ MUSIC back but not ONE APP. The App's are completely gone from when you nav. to the location the link says... There isn't a mobile sync folder there...
