Phone shows up in itunes when not connected

Question

I have unplugged the iPhone from the computer and used the eject button as directed.  Few minutes later, the phone shows up again.  The phone also has tried to sync wirelessly without launching the service.  Also, the phone is checked off to only sync when connected.  To add to the issue, if you go under settings on the phone and select sync now (wirelessly), you should not be able to sync unless you are plugged into a power source.  My phone will go ahead and sync

I tried deleting it off my phone and redownloading it. But have the same issue.
