Phone simply will not turn on.
I did a reboot because my FB wouldn't work. Held both buttins down until I saw the apple, and it never came back on. Any suggestions? I tried plugging it into my laptop to get to it through Itunes but it doesn't see my phone either. Thanks!

My I-phone 4S will not turn on after failed attempt to Restore
Dear Anyone who could possibly help me,
Today I opened up my I-tunes and plugged in my I-phone; I selected the "Restore I-phone" option because I wanted to restore my I-phone back to its original state as when I first recieved it. I selected "Restore" and began the process. After the play menu of Itunes said something along the lines, "Restoration Complete" and went on to load other things that are suppposed to follow a restoration, I was called away. Since my I-phone was not completely through doing the restoration and other loading, I did not shutdown my my computer. Instead I closed the top down shut - which now I regret because I think closing my computer shut it what started the entire mess.
When I returned to my I-phone and viewed my Itunes, it said something like, "Restoration Failed" and then two small screens came up telling me the restoration did not complete. So, I unplugged my I-phone and turned it off. Now every single time I turn it back on, the screen of my I-phone has the Itunes icon saying "itunes" under it, and there is an white arrow under the icon that is pointing to the icon itself. Under the arrow, there is the picture of my plug in, (the same plug in we use to sync music and other data from our Itunes to our I-phone.)
I have tried holding down the home button while continuing to press down the on button and this same screen pops up. Even when I try to plug it in, the only that happens is I hear the sound it makes when I plug in my I-phone, but it will not show up in my Itunes. Nothing has worked and I am all out of ideas.
What can I do to turn my I-phone back on so that I can hopefully restore my I-phone and reload my music, applications and other things?iOS: Unable to update or restore

I updated my 4S and while it was updating I left it alone. After about 1 hour, I came back to it and it was off. Now it will not even turn on. I don't really want to do a hard reboot and loose my apps/pictures/etc. What is going on?

My phone simply will not access web services despite showing EV symbol
Please for the sake of god help me with this. I have searched this world wide web for the last five hours of the eve before returning to my college and i need to get this problem solved. My data usage is set to "On", and yet, i get a loading white web page that lasts forever.
- YouTube opens, but not a single video shows up in the listings
- the app store opens, but again, not a single app
-Amazon Mp3, ditto
I have tried a triple reset, a battery replacement, and even have chatted to random Palm reps from India, but nothing, even the latter, worked.

Post relates to: Pixi p120eww (Sprint)Try a different cable and a different charger. If neither fixes it you probably need a new battery. Apple will replace it for $80 in the US; I don't know what the charge is in other locations.

I phone stilllllll will not turn on!
Heres the story, i did have water damage, but i pulled it appart had it completely dried, and it came back to life. two weeks later and it was still working fine, no problem with the battery holding a charge and no problems with the screen or responce... today tho i was at the doctors office, and shut it off. once i was out i tried to turn it back on and nothing, plugged it into my car charger and nothing, held the two buttons and nothing. i dont know how to make it restore since it seems to have no power even when i have left it plugged in for 20+ mins, so when i plug it to the computer it wont recognize a device... someone please give me hope that its not fried... it just doesnt make sence since it was powering and acting fine for so long before now!
Also, the act of pulling it apart could have blown a circuit or two if you weren't properly grounded.
Electronics + water is never a good idea

If this not worked. Put iPhone in to DFU mode. And restore.

i updated my 4s yesterday, but my phone will not work at all now, and will not turn off. It has a itunes image on the screen with an arrow underneath and what looks like the charger lead. i've had it on charge! is there anything else i can do?
Cconnect it to your computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.

Last weekend I went to the Apple store to replace my phone because the WiFi on my phone is nonfunctional. I need to back up to iCloud before I can replace my phone because I have information on there that needs to be saved. The worker at the Apple store said that, since I cannot connect to WiFi, I needed to plug my phone into my computer in order to back up. I went into iTunes and turned iCloud on, but my phone still will not back up to iCloud. So, I need to know exactly how to back up my iPhone to iCloud without WiFi?

Unfortunately, you can't restore an iCloud backup without using wifi so that isn't an option. -
My iPhone 4s is stuck on a black screen that shows a USB cable connecting to iTunes. Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

My phone was working fine last night. Plugged it into the charger and went to bed. Woke up this am to it off. It would not turn on. I tried a different charger and a different outlet. Tried several times to hold down power and volume and or the menu button. Finally, several hours later, holding the power and volume buttoon turned on the phone. Said had 1%battery, so i kept it plugged in for about 5 min. It went up to 2%. I started to look at recieved text, then it went dead again. Repeated the same steps and left it plugged in. It kept turning off. till finally, it went dim and a warning message came on to restore phone from itunes but idid not see the end of warning bc it shut off again. Now it will not turn on, but has the white apple symbol turning off and on over and over. I can not find the option to restore the phone, plus the phone is not on so the computer is not registering that its plugged in. I can not call out bc no landline and can not call tech support. Does anyone know why this is, or what to do?????????????

My iPhone 4 will not turn on, when I plug it into my computer and load up iTunes its in recovery mode and the only option is to restore my device to factory settings, I have no back up of my phone I've also tried the home/sleep button thing but nothing, I have literally done every method I was told, I checked for water damage and that's fine. That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.
