Phone still wont turn on
My droid Razr M still won't turn on. I have it plugged in to the charger and tried to do the power volume down reset that everybody suggests, but it still won't turn on. I know it's charing because the green light is on. but my phone still doesn't work. any tips would be helpful.
I assume you already tried the holding down the power button and the down volume button simultaneously for 10 seconds or more. ( might be up volume , try both )

Try DFU Mode. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power button, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode.

Ive just done an itunes full restore but my 3gs still wont turn on... in fact wont even register its charging.
Any other tips ?Try a different charger and/or cable. If it's been on the charger for hours and won't start then something is wrong with either the phone or charging system. If you have an iPod or iPad that can connect to the same charger, that would be a good place to start testing the charging system.

If the battery was empty (and it may then take 10 to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

ok last night i was ok and nothing happend to my ipod but, when in the morning just to cheack the time its off and i didntturn off the ipod so i thought if it out of battery ill charge it. then when i plug it in to an outlet it still wont turn on please help i tried everything how turn it on and such it still wont turn on help!!! So my ipod 5 wont charge nor turn on and whenever i plug it with thee charger all it shows is the low battery sign with the lighting bolt under it and i left it like that but like the title says its been like that for 2 days straight and it still wont turn on nor charge. I dont know what to do. It won't be able to reset or respond to any of my actions. i tried the DFU mode but it wont work unless its on. PLEASE HELP!
Sounds like the battery is dead. Take it to Apple and ask them to check it out for you.

Particularly:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
