Phone went off and not getting start
while i was using my apple i phone 4s it went sudden off with apple logo and now its not getting start
Does it really matter? Take it to Apple for evaluation. They will tell you what the problem is.
Stop using it immediately.

I would suggest to do a clean reload of the device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320, please test before restoring any backup data to the device.

Depends on what you mean by "surprises" in the bill. Verizon's rates for using your phone internationally are pretty expensive, ~$0.99/minute. I would certainly think a 10 minute call for $10 would be surprising!
Well it would certainly depend on your phone, but if it is a 4G LTE phone, you can simply purchase a prepaid SIM card from the location you are going, switch that with the SIM card currently in your phone and you would be using your phone locally in that location. Of course you would need to notify people needing to contact you of your "temporary" new international phone number. Make sure you keep your Verizon SIM card safe as you would want to switch back to it when returning to the states.
You can see Verizon's global services information HERE. It includes a trip planner and would be more specific on the prices you would expect to pay if you chose to use Verizon's service rather than a local SIM card from where you are visiting. -

Error 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, and 4016
After you perform each step, try to restore your device.
Restart your computer.
Disconnect all your USB devices from your computer and connect to another USB port.
Use a different USB cable.
Uninstall third-party security software.
Try restoring using an alternate computer.

My Iphone 4s is shut down and not getting power on. Do I have the battery problem ? how can I fix it when my phone is not getting on and how can I contact to the apple ? I need to send it or fix it by myself within a limited time. I am from Mankato, MN.
Please suggest me what should I do?Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, usually takes about 10 seconds. If still nothing, connect to Wall Charger and Reset, this can sometimes take about 20 seconds of hold both buttons while on charger.

Gdgmacguy : my friend , i tried all basics soft reset, hard reset on my iphone 4s..the phone is not booting at all its stuck red battery screen..even itunes is not recognising the device...
My other concern is, i started to use my spare iphone 3gs after my 4s gt dead..but 3gs is also showing same symptoms..randomn switch off and will boot only once conected to charger with plenty of charge..i tried to restore, reset on this device..im afraid it might crash as welll...so need a solution.. -

I have turned 'imessage off on my iphone 5.. Now im not getting some texts messages from people.
I have had it turn off all the time as i run a group text app. I did the current 'software update' and it turned imessage back on. I didnt realise for a few days. I have now turned it off. BUT now im not receiving some peoples texts??? any ideas what to do??

@ deggie, I wasn't threatening ANYONE. I was simply saying how frustrating this has become, seeing how I have been trying on my own to figure this issue out for more then a month with no results. Like I said in the beginning, I have not used any other account to purchase apps or other products on my phone. I have only ever used one account. There are 23 apps that are saying they can't sync. It directs me to authorize the computer, which I do but it doesn't change the outcome. If I proceed, I lose those 23 apps correct? Do I also lose all my text messages saved, and other things such as documents in the "notes"?

It helped earlier but it has come back again. I don't know what to do. I tried what you said earlier but this time even this is not working either. And quite intrestingly my phone won't turn off. I turn it off, it goes off and then restarts on its own and then keep giving the same message again and again.
Could it be a charging cable, is there any chance that the cable which was working fine one day could turn to be "incompatible" with iphone the other day????????

I woke up this morning and found my iPhone 4 is off condition, With the assumption that is needs to be charged, I tried to hook up for charging, I haven't succeed in this attempt, The phone is not getting started, even i charge it, Help me out.
Try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time for atleast 15 seconds
- if you see the Apple logo appear rlease both buttons
If that fails try charging the iPhone while plugged into the wall adaptor and also while plugged into the computer. Try cahrging both ways for atleast 15-20 minutes. Also while its plugged into the computer check and see if the computer or iTunes will recognise that the iPhone is connected. -

Will not turn on or screen remains dark
- Connect iPod to power for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has enough charge to allow iPod to turn on.
- If iPod does not turn on after ten minutes, try resetting the device while it is still connected to power. Reset the iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button for at least eight seconds or until you see the Apple logo appear.
- If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes and can play music. If iPod appears in iTunes and can play music, no further troubleshooting is needed.
- If the screen remains dark and will not turn on, then your iPod may need service.

i am using iphone 4s its under warranty , phone got automatically turn off even if has 50% battery and not get on until i connect to charger . if i go to service center will they change my phone ? and will i have to pay anything if its battery issue ???/
Take it in and see what the technicians say is wrong and then how they want to handle the iPhone. If the iPhone has a problem covered by the warranty then you should have no problems.
