Phone will no longer allow me to send pictures
My phone no longer gives me the option to send or share my pictures. When I have the picture pulled up that I want to send/share, I go to the menu but when I click Send/Share, nothing happens. All other functions of the menu work, such as Rotate and Zoom In. I just noticed this happened today when I tried to send a picture to someone. I have sent many pictures from my phone to others and Facebook, etc. I just sent a picture on Friday so I'm not sure what could be wrong. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

My iPhone 4s will no longer allow others to initiate a text message with me. I think I have pin pointed the issue, but I don't know how to fix it. When I go to Settings - Messages - Send & Receive, it has both my phone number and my email but it only will allow me to check the email account. Therefore, if people don't have this email stored in their phone, then it won't allow them to initiate a text message to me. They can reply to my texts, but it comes up as my email address vs. my phone number. I have tried to reset my networks, but that didn't help either. I have not downloaded the new iOS 7.0.4 yet. Does that have something to do with it or how can I fix this because I'm on the road for business and I won't have a chance to download it until I get home on Sunday!
I'm sorry you have not been able to utilize your text messaging AlaynaFHirsch. I recommend downloading the new software to your phone. It will definitely help with functionality issues. Are you using a 3rd party messaging application? Have you tried to perform a restore on your account?

I can get to the store, but once I get there and click the free then install app, it has me type in my password for my apple id then it goes right back to free and won't download no matter how many times I click it.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

After updating my software my phone will no longer send imessages
My phone will no longer send iMessages ever since I updated to the new software. Does anyone know how to fix this?
The iPhone will behave as any other camera would when connected to a Windows PC. I suggest you check Windows user forums for similar issues related to any/all cameras.

After 5.0.1 update on iPhone 4 my phone will no longer sync.
After 5.0.1 update on iPhone 4 my phone will no longer sync. Keeps sitting there says "waiting for sync to start". Any ideas? It was fine before the update. I tried truning off the cloud but it made no difference. Tried on a different computer. Same thing.
I finally worked around Apple's problem. I synced my iPhone 4 phone with another computer. Lost my apps and music on the phone but still had my music database of almost 3,000 tunes. I then synced with another computer with the updated iTunes software they just sent out. Then had to rebuild my apps and music on the phone. I used Tune-Up plug-in to help with the music with covers and dupes, etc. It took me till 1 am last night but it's now working and syncing ok. I have about 1,000 tunes on the phone now, with no dupes and 95% of the cover artwork. Without Tune-Up it would take me a week to get the dupes out and covers for all the albums. I think the problems started when Apple tried to send the update directly to the iPhone rather than thru iTunes like they had always done before. I turned off the cloud and am syncing and backing up with my computer and home sharing is turned off. That method worked very well for the last few years. It seems like the combination of home sharing, the cloud and 5.0.1 software caused a lot of problems. Hopefully I have it under control now, or at least until the next software update. It was a major pita.

My iPod Classic will no longer allow me to create podcast playlists. It create music playlists. I've restored it twice. What is the problem?
Is the problem that you can create them in iTunes, but they are empty on the iPod itself? If so, I had that problem, and the issue appeared to be that playlists that used MediaType=Podcast didn't seem to transfer. If, on the other hand, I gave all podcasts a Genre of Podcast, it worked better. In general, with the older iPod classic, I found that playlists based on MediaType didn't work that well.

Since updating my iphone 4S to ios 7.1 my phone will no longer ring and apps do not have sound. I have made sure the do not disturb is not turned on and have also gone into Accessibility and made sure sound is not off there. I have done a reboot and also a reset of the settings. When I set my ring tone, the sample tone plays, however, the phone only vibrates when I get a call. The apps also do not have any sound. Everything was working fine until the update.
I am positive the half moon isn't there. That one caught me once before so now I am careful to check.

my airport time capsule will no longer allow our iPhones or vizio smart tvs to connect to it, though my iPad air mac mini and mac air connect fine. Why is this? does a recent software update have anything to do with it?
What model is your TC? What is the firmware?
I recommend you do a factory reset and use short names.. not apple recommended names.
Short.. 2-20 characters .. less than 10 even better.
No spaces.
Pure alphanumeric.
Set fixed channels for 2.4ghz wireless.. test with 11, 6, 1 at least.
That often helps.. if not and is old, ie Gen1-4 go back to 7.6.1 firmware which is far more solid. -

The only time I have ever seen that is when my SIM card is out of my phone. Try opening the sim card tray and then replacing it after a minute. Use a paperclip to pop the door open on the side of the phone (if it is a 4 or 4s) or on top (if 3GS) and see if that changes the alert message. Check back with status if that doesn't help. You can also trying a full restore by plugging it into your computer and opening iTunes. When it recognizes the phone click on the phone name in the left menu and hit restore. This will erase the phone but if you have a backup you can restore from that after it resets the phone or you can set it up as a new phone and start from scratch. My iPhone is running out of storage. I want to delete a bunch of photos on my phone. I have iCloud. How do I delete photos from the iPhone and keep them on my computer? I need to free up storage as my phone will no longer take photos.
The only way you can do that is to import them into your library first, but you may have done that already.
The easiest way to tell is to select a photo from the photostream album in iPhoto and ctrl-click on it, if it gives you the option to import it isn't in your iPhoto library, if it offers you the option to show in library it has already been imorted. -

This is copied from your first post. Am I reading this wrong? Aren't you saying that you are getting a message that the username and password are incorrect? That's why I asked another the word apple in the name. I don't use Yahoo mail that may in fact be correct but I'm just checking,
IF you are getting a message that the username and password are incorrect.....
Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional. -
When I try to use the Message feature on my iPad 2, to send a message to a friends iPhone (on iOS 5 too), why will it not allow me to send the message?
Check to make sure you are not typing your message in the Subject line. If you are, it won't let you send the message. Cut and paste the message into the Message field and you should be all set.
FYI, you can disable the Subject line from your messages in Settings/Messages. -
