Phone Will Not Display Accurate Battery Life Remaining
It's really not that big of a deal, but it is a tad annoying. I've tried restarting and resetting it. I'd like to fix this, if possible, myself.
A hard reset and/or restore is about the only thing you can try.

My phone will not display my address book !
My Blackberry 8900 will not display my address book. The addresses are there and on the sim card, but I can not get them to be displayed on the phone. I have tried copying them but does not seem to work. What do I do. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Or ONLY on your SIM card?
Open your Address Book, press the Menu key then click on Filters, and make sure no Filters are checked.
Now, look in the Address Book again.

Brand new phone will not charge after battery low
My daughter has had her phone 4 days and it has only today died completely it had icon in corner saying off so I put it on charge. But where the battery icon was there was no sign to say it was charging. I left it an hour and nothing so I did a battery pull and it rebooted but then died completely. Still no light on to say charging. I also read on another forum to plug charger in while battery removed but still nothing at all. Also before this when she put her simcard in which is a contract bb sim it was saying it wasn't connected to bb Internet and bbm was not working. Please help
On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?
Do you see the BlackBlerry dots logo at the top right of the home screen next to the signal bar indicator?
If not, and if the BIS status is not connected, could be the plan is not yet provisioned by Tesco.
Then, try this:
On your BlackBerry device, go to:
1. On OS5 devices: Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register. On OS6 devices: Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:

Phone will not display in landscape
Just this morning I am unable to view anything in landscape that I was able to do prior (facebook, outlook, websites) Is anyone else having this difficulty?? Recently upgraded to ios7 a week or so ago.
Is your orientation lock on?do you see a circle over a lock beside ur batt inductor on top of your screen? Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to access the control centre and click the top right most button.

If you're in a country where there's an apple shop (unfortunately not mine), go check it and ask the employee about it: he's gonna check your Iphone on a "device"
I've got an iphone 5 and it's working very well with me but I have to admit that its battery lasts (slower) than my Ipad 2.
Still i can help with some tips that may improve your iohone's battery by an hour in addition (hopefully):
- close all apps by multitasking....
- do NOT keep the brightness to the max

I am having issues get my email in one of my mail accounts so I tried to "DELETE" the whole account. But my phone will not delete a mail account. And the phone is getting really hot and battery was full 2 hours ago and now at 25%.
Well, you don't say what happens when you try to delete the account. So I don't know what else to recommend. However, if your phone is not charging, is that the mains charger or the computer USB? Also, if it not showing any change to battery percentage, then something is wrong with the software. The next step in user troubleshooting after the reset is a restore from backup. However, considering the condition of the phone right now, I would be more than willing to say your backup is going to be corrupt. But you can try. If that does not fix the device, then you restore as new, not from a backup. If the phone works, then you can try restoring the backup again, but if it messes up, you are going to have to restore as new again. If the restore as new does not work, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar or Authorized Apple Service Provider to get the hardware checked.

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.

I have a couple of articles for you that can help you troubleshoot this issue with your iPhone. First, here is an article that addresses your question specifically:
Battery does not charge
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.

Next, here is an article that will help you if you are having issues related to being unable to turn the phone on:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Third party apps will not display pictures upon OS upgrade

I recently upgraded my 8520 to OS 5 and I've noticed that my Time Mobile App and Viigo will not display pictures in the articles or news feeds anymore. I've tried the apps support but no luck.
Is there a possible solution for this?I don't know about Time Mobile, but I noticed that Viigo started having some issues with displaying photos correctly a while back after an OS update as well. One suggestion you can try is to simply do a battery pull - while the phone is on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds and reinsert. After the phone has rebooted, see if you have any better luck.
Now then, Viigo is still intermittent for me - some feeds load pictures no problem, while others have a lot of issues (or simply don't load pictures period). My guess is that there is something that changed slightly in the OS update that is influencing how pictures are downloaded from the internet and to these apps. Unfortunately there is little that can be done though unless the developer(s) update their apps as well.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Resolving issues
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

Quit the messages app and reset your phone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
After the phone restarts go into Messages and delete the thread containing the problem message.
