- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPho fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I know it must be frustrating when you iPhone will not ring when you have an incoming call. The first thing I would suggest as far as troubleshooting would be to check the ring/vibrate switch on the side of your iPhone, just above the volume buttons, to make sure the ringer isn’t silenced. If the ringer is not silenced, continue to read over the information in the attached article to troubleshoot your iPhone sound.

I would recommend you to connect the iPhone to iTunes and follow the steps provided,
Once you connect the iPhone to iTunes you will be able to Set-up your iPhone on the iTunes itself with the available options.

Iphone5s wont turn on after IOS update

This morning my phone was ready for the new IOS update. Everything was going fine and it updated as it did before but now it just wont turn on. I tried pressing and holding the power button, the home button, and both at the same time with no luck. Its an older phone and was working fine before. i have no insurance and dont know what to do.

If it's a 5s it's still under warranty, even if you don't have insurance.

I recieved a message last night about the update 7.1.2 for my ipad mini. I left my ipad on overnight while plugged in while it was updating. i woke up this morning seeing my ipad must be connected to itunes. I connect my ipad to itunes and it must be restored. Every time i try to restore and update the ipad from itunes i get the error code 3004. I have tried hard resetting the ipad, re-downloading the latest version of itunes, and disconnecting and reconnected the usb plug.

Here are the steps that I would recommend going through when experiencing error 3004.
Resolve network errors
Related errors: 17, 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194, 3000, 3002, 3004, 3013, 3014, 3015, 3194, 3200, or "There was a problem downloading the software," or say the "device isn't eligible for the requested build.". These alerts mean that your computer is either having difficulty contacting the Apple update server or communicating with your device.
Check your computer for software or settings that might cause communication issues between your computer and Apple or between your computer and your device.

Mac App Store cannot update itunes, OS and remote desktop; keep saying it is updated and yet ask it ask you to update as in fact it is not updated

I search my problem on web and got no solution.
1) mac app store shows some updates needed. e.g. itunes, remote desktop.
2) I clicked "update", and it changes to "installed" within seconds and then shows I have installed the update.
3) But the problem is that the software is NOT updated and the "installed icon" changes back to "update" immediately.
4) the picture below shows what happened.
5) As you can see, the remote desktop is updated twice on Mar 3 and is version 3.8.2 v1.1 but the mac app store prompt me to update it.
6) I cannot update the new version of MAC OS too.
Solution:
1) Restart app or OS. >> Failed.
2) Rebuild spotlight >> Failed.
3) Genius bar >> No hope as the Genius bar is fully booked all the time (rumors that people are selling the timeslots, guess where am I?).
Can any one help me on that.

I usually sleep with my phone on charge through the night and I haven't had any problem since, I left my iphone 5 charging last night and in the morning it stated 100% charged so I decided to turn the power off normally (Hold the hold button till it says slide to turn power off) I turned it off and suddenly my iphone went straight to low battery. Although I have been having weird battery percentage changes for example it would stay on 1 % for an hour or so or drain really quickly.
I have restored it as i thought was the thing to do all it's doing it restoring and still stating low battery and I have charged it for hours +. I can't hard reset it nor restore it NEED HELP PLEASE.

Hi folks, I updated my iphone 4 with the ios5 or 6 update, and when it powercycled it would not turn back on.
when I try to turn it on, i get the standard apple icon, then a usb symbol will appear with an arrow above it, and the i tunes symbol above that.
Its obviously telling me to connect to itunes, but when i do, the device registers, but only prompts me to reset the phone. After doing that, same prob...HELP

If connecting in recovery mode, as explained in this article did not help to restore the phone again, you'll have to get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place or by contacting Apple Support.

If your iPhone is unresponsive after updating your iOS version, then I'd like you to please follow the troubleshooting below.
If you see a black screen
You might need to charge your device before it can turn on. Plug in your device and let it charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad), then try turning it on.
You should see a battery icon while your device is charging. If you continue to see a black screen, reset your device. If your device doesn't respond when you press buttons
Your device might not return to the Home screen when you press the Home button, wake from sleep when you press the Sleep/Wake button, slide to unlock or power off, or it might appear frozen. Try these steps:
Restart your device.
If it still doesn't respond, or if it doesn't turn back on, reset your device.
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
Get more help

Yet when I try to restore it with Itunes on my windows 7 laptop it says the network connection has been reset. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network is active, or try again later. My phone has the itunes logo and charger symbol on it, as well as an arrow pointing at the Itunes logo. After holding the sleep button down or even doing the hard reset the same screen comes up on my phone regardless of whether it is plugged in or not to my computer. I have turned my computer off and on again. It is plugged in and charging as it's battery life is very short. I also reset my modem and the same error message pops up. The only option on my computer when my phone is plugged in is to restore it. My firewall also allows Itunes through it. I have literally tried everything I know being someone who knows very little about technology. I also do not want to hear about how the update worked for other people. My phone has been in recovery mode for 5 hours at least now so it will just make me more frustrated if a bunch of people post about how the update worked for them.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...
