Phone won't receive some messages and has trouble sending
My phone will not receive messages and has trouble sending them. I receive some messages but then my phone goes crazy and just keeps vibrating and nothing shows up. how do i fix this?

The iPad receives Text Messages through Apple's iMessage feature. Make sure this is turned on on your phone. Also, text messages received at your phone number are not shared with the iPad. Make sure that iMessage texts are being sent to your EMAIL ADDRESS

I've received group messages and sent them before on my iPhone 4S . Until recently I received group messages extremely late . And now I cannot receive group messages at all . I can start group messages and send them but I can't receive the messages that the people in the group send . My group messaging is on and I have already tried turning off my phone and turning it back on . I can receive regular text messages in one on one conversations perfectly fine . I don't really know what else to do ! Please help !

Not receiving some mail and can't send mail to myself
I've been trying to get a password reset link from Paypal (which I haven't used since before I got my new Imac) but I'm not getting any of their emails. I called their tech support and had them send it twice more, but I'm still not getting anything and they have no clue what the problem is, even though I do get adverts from them. I tried sending myself an email and I can't get that either. I've been using AT&T internet for years so I'm forced to have email on my yahoo page as well as standard mac mail but I'm not getting the emails on my yahoo account (same address) either. What is going on and how can I fix it? Software is Lion 10.6.8
I would check each smtp server and ports and imap or pop3 depending on your mail provider
settings up against the mail providers listed settings to verify that your settings are set correctly -

My phone is not receiving text messages and depending on where I am it also does not send, it gives me a message failure. Then if I send it as a text message instead of imessage it will go.
Any ideas how to fix it?contact your wireless provider. txt messages is their service.

Was skiing with a lifeproof on and my phone did not get wet. On the ride back my phone was struggling to send/receive messages and had trouble opening apps. The screen froze and I hit the sleep button; since then, it has not turned on. Any suggestions on what to do?
It probably got too cold and shut down. Warm it to room temperature, then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears.

My iPhone 5 with latest version of iOS 6 won't receive some text messages (not iMessages)
My IPhone 5 with latest version of ios 6 won't receive some text messages. All text messages not received are from different people on the same carrier (not mine). Some messages come through if they repeatedly send them. I have tried resetting network settings. This fixes the issue for 10 minutes or so before I don't receive the messages again. I dont have iMessage on and I've tried a restore.

I had the same issue.
After resetting the network settings everything works fine again.
YouTube App and the videos you posted above didn't play.
After resetting, they are playable.

My iphone has locked up displaying a received text message and an app playing a radio station. I can't restart the phone by holding down the on/off button. Any suggestions to try?
Hold the home button and the Sleep/Wake button ignoring the slide to power off message until the phone turns off then you can repower it by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button for a few seconds until the apple logo appears.

In preferences turn on iTunes sharing in iTunes preferences and keep iTunes turned on in both accounts. Or better yet put the iTunes library on the main HD rather than in an account and set the location of the library to that location in iTunes preferences.

email send/receive suddenly doesn't work (as of September 24th); I can't change email settings (one suggestion from tech) as BB phone won't accept *valid* username and password -- what to do?
I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.
Thanks for any hints. I have always loved this BB Bold and have never had any trouble with it.But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

When trying to login to iTunes I receive a message iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop and iTunes automatically closes.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Launch iTunes on your computer, plug the phone in & on the "Summary Pane", select "Restore". This will restore the phone to factory settings with all of your son's stuff gone. You can now use it as an iPod touch. To do this REQUIRES the deactivated sim card be still installed in the phone.

Our office uses Thunderbird and has been receiving unusual messages and been unable to work effectively since Friday April 9, 2014.

When we open the Certificate status window, it indicates that the Validity was issued 4/9/14 (when our problems started)
As of today we can receive messages but not send anything…very annoying.
Is this related to the recent Heartbleed bug or is something else going on?
What are our options to restore service?

You can check in two places:
* on the first tab of the certificate viewer, "Common Name"
* on the second tab of the certificate viewer, lower box, Extensions category, look for "Certificate Subject Alt Name" to see whether the certificate covers multiple different host names -
