Phone wont send text msg's why?

Just wondering if anybody knows why my Nokia 6110 wont send texts it will recieve texts and allows me to call, i have checked the msg centre number i have updated the newest version of software, i have restored my factory setting, i'm not sure what else to do can anyone help? it's been like this for about 3 weeks now.

ive had the same problem with my nokia 6110.im with virgin and they tried to reset all the settings,even sent me out a new sim card and still wouldnt work.Sent it off to Nokia for repair and after waiting 4WEEKS!!! to get it back,it was working fine.It seemed that all they did was a upgrade.A mth later,it happens again but this time i called Virgin and demanded a new phone.I received a 6210 NAV and after 6 mths of having this one,its doing the same thing grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Still dont really know what the problem is but youre not alone

I know a lot of people with iphone 5 and have never heard them complain about top button always brake and screen that decides to pop off or the back of their case is bending.
That sounds like a phone that has been dropped a numerous times.

N70 Unable to send Text msg - Please help

I have just got an N70 complete with pc suite 6.7. I have used it twice to send text msgs last week and today have come to use it and it says unable to send txt msg. I have read through all other threads and have found that even though it says this it still sends (unbeknown at the time so i clicked it about 10 times!!!!)
I am not a very technical computer person so if anyone can help in VERY SIMPLE computer lingo it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

All I can think is that the message centre number is somehow wrong... but it shouldn't be, as far as I'm aware, the PC Suite puts the outgoing SMS in your outbox and the phone deals with it from there on...

I can receive text but cannot send text msgs,can make outgoing calls..with full signals on my network provider and everytime i send message it displays" not delivered" and when i tap the retry it failed to send again.

Sorry i asked this on you discussion, but its soo confusing .
The mobile phone looking number is what you call the message center number. Contact your service provider to get the actual one. Then, make sure that you have the same number updated in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text messages -> Msg. centre in use.
This is not your "actual phone number".

Ask your wireless provider. None of what you describe has to do with the phone itself.

Send text msg on 6350 phone

I am new to this board and to text messaging. I have a bell nokia 6350 phone . i will be in the dominican Republic in april . i wish to send texts back to canada. I have a number in my contacts in this format 902-xxx-xxxx . I choose this contact for the TO field. I am told i need to add the international code . Some say add 1-902-xxx-xxxx others say hit the * twice . I tried this but i cannot change the info in the TO field. How do I keep the contact # the same but add the additional number or symbol. Maybe i need to type the info in the field and not use the number in my contacts Hope I have explained this ok

I had no problem sending or receiving texts on extended network before froyo update. I can't seem find a way to change the settings for text messaging on my LG Ally phone?? I think I will be making a trip into the Verizon store for help with my phone. I'm getting so frustrated, it's getting so old having to tell all my friends and family that I can read their texts but can't send from my phone. I wish I could go back to having my phone the way it was before the update.

Iphone 4 wont send text message

I've got an iphone 4 and sometimes it will stop sending text messages. the send bar will load the whole way up until the last %10 then i'll get the red message send failure notice and it wont send any other texts until i turn it off then turn it back on. it's not really that big of a deal but it's really annoying. anybody know how to fix it?

Most likely this is a carrier issue, but you can try resetting your phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears.
Note that your profile has inconsistent info: iPhone 4 and iOS 3.0.1. The iPhone 4 requires iOS 4.x. Please correct.

I can send text msgs to every contact except one

So I can send text messages to all of my friends just fine; however, I can't send text messages to my gf! I can receive her texts but she can't receive the ones I send. She used to be able to receive them. I'm going to contact AT&T very soon, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?
I called apple today and they recommended a soft reset and updating the firmware. I tried both to no avail. Any help? Should I delete and re-add her as a contact.

I wish it was that easy. Apple said to do a "soft" reset which is just turning the phone off then on. Another solution was to update the firmware which I have been doing. Either way it hasn't worked.
update: So I even restored as the other customer service woman said, and still nothing. I have absolutely no idea. I would only find it really weird if I couldn't call her plus text. Another more feedback is still appreciated.

If it's a new phone and you've never sent a text message from your phone then it is probably the message centre number. If so, contact your network and ask them for the message centre number plus instructions to set it up on your phone.

N95 wont send texts

my n95 wont send messages, it jst comes up wit an info box
"general: memory full, close some applications and try again" so ive deleted some texts and i have no applications running. any ideas

Wont send texts or make calls?

My blackberry got a "RVM error 343" so I downloaded the desktop softwear, connected my blackberry and updated all settings. This allowed me to access my blackberry and when i put my sim card in i could send and receive texts fine but I didn't have blackberry messenger, so I connected it back up to the computer and added messenger onto the applications. So now I have messenger but I can't do anything at all on the phone - calls "fail", texts pend for a while then just fail. I tried wiping everything but it doesn't do anything, I also tried reconnecting to Orange but that didn't do anything either. The sim card works fine in my other phone so I know it isn't a problem with the sim card or Orange.

You can try using the following article to do a reset to factory on your device, http://bbry.lv/a0QXmX. Before you do the reset to factory you can backup your device using this article http://bit.ly/aSediX. Once this is complete test again before restoring your data to see if you are able to make calls and send text messages. If this does not work then you are going to want to contact your service provider to see if they need to enable a setting on the SIM card to make it work.

My fiancé and I are also having this issue. He has a droid X and I have the lg env 3. We can send texts but don't get texts until about 2 hours after they are sent to us. However.. We can speed up the process by sporadically making phone calls.. If we suspect someone has replied to our texts.. If we call each other or voicemail or wherever.. It pushes the texts through whatever is holding them back and we can then receive them. We have full bars and I did shut off my phone, take out the battery and then put it back in and turn it on. Hopefully you can help?
